Today was our third visit to MS Glass Salem. They repaired rock chips in our Tesla windshield on two separate occasions and did a fantastic job. Today we went in with our Ford F350 for two chips ( thanks to Hwy 22 near a quarry) and found as we suspected that the damage was too deep to ensure a successful fill. The manager was a straight shooter and gave a a great price on a total replacement. It was done quickly and expertly. Each time we have stopped in they are friendly and professional. So my windshield was busted and I called for a quote and the guy on the phone told me it was gonna be 300 but an extra 50 for the deposit just in case I didnt show up. First of all I didnt even want to go to the shop I wanted them to come to my house bc I have small children and that it would take up to or possible over an hour. I was basically pressured into coming in even though I didnt want to. Then when I got there the guy was very rude to me. Then when I was trying to ask him about the price he said it was 350 but they wouldnt charge me the 50 dollars bc I came to the appointment. I even ask him if I was miss understanding him but he kept giving me the same answer. I said Im confused bc I asked if it would be 400 minus the 50 and it would be 350 then. He looked at me like I was stupid and said no its 350 minus the 50 and it would be 300. The guy on the phone and the front desk worker both said it was 350 minus the 50 so it would be 300 but in the end I was still charge the 300. I was scammed and tooken advantage bc I am a women. Then when my husband called trying to find out why I was charged 350 the guy lied. So if ur a women I do not recommend u come here. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

These guys went above and beyond! Nevermind that the price was super low and the work was quality. From the time I noticed the crack in my windshield until it was replaced was about four hours total! On the way to the coast today, a rock hit the windshield on my 05 Tacoma. On the way home I noticed the crack caused by the rock. I called to get a price quote to replace the windshield, and it was surprisingly low (Special - $157). I called my insurance company and found I had a $100 deductible. I opened a claim and told them I was going to use MS Glass. MS Glass called me a short time later and said they recieved the info from my insurance company. The lady said they could fix the windshield tomorrow. I said I'd drop the truck off today. She said they close at 4:30. I arrived a little after 4 pm and the three guys inside looked like they were ready to close up and call it a day. They offered to replace my windshield on the spot. I know what it's like to be almost closed and ready to go home, so I really appreciated the offer. The three of them went to work as a team. Took my 2020 Tacoma in for a new windshield install. After about two weeks I heard a wind and water bubbling noise. This made me look at the cowling area and noticed that it had been cut and not touching the windshield at all. I pointed this out to them and he said that it was probably a factory defect and to talk to the dealership. So I went straight to the dealership and they assured me that it wasn't, we even looked at a couple other Tacoma's. When I got home I inspected their work and noticed that there's a gap between the wipers in the seal. This part is ruined and costs about $400 to replace. I won't go back. Shop owner should have recognized the mistake and offered to replace it. read more

My experience with MS Glass was fabulous. The person who answered the phone was courteous and helpful. The driver's side window in my RAV-4 came off its track. I was able to roll it back up but I didn't want to take the chance that it would happen again. What if it got stuck or worse broke when I tried to get it to go back up? Not only did MS Glass get my car in right away, they fixed it on the spot (I called, drove in and they were waiting for me). The technician who worked on my car was Justin. He was very nice, upfront and honest with me, and worked efficiently. Justin said it was an easy fix, a bolt had come loose. He fixed it and didn't even charge me for the labor! Disappointing customer service. I was working with Mike at MS glass and right off he said he would maybe charge me $50 more than my deductible since I was going through my insurance. My insurance said that I wouldn't have to pay anything more as long as I pay my deductible. Confirmed with Mike twice that I wanted the original glass from the dealer and he assured me they would have it by the next day. When I called to confirm the next day, they had no record of my appointment. Spoke to Mike again and said he would have it later on and asked him again that it's the original from dealer and this time he said it wasn't the dealer but some aftermarket. Someone had broken into my car and smashed my driver side window. I called MS Glass to repair. Everyone on the phone was friendly, including the man that installed the window. After I had paid and the man left, I went to look at the window and noticed damage on my door handle, and a scuff on the passenger side door. The reason there was damage on the passenger side was because he had started to replace the passenger window, even though it did not need to be replaced, and it was obvious what window was broken. I called the company to let him know of these issues, and requested a $40 refund. The part is $10, and I would have to pay someone else to fix the handle, because I will NOT let this company touch my car again. The manager refused to refund any money, and said for me to bring him the car and he would repair. Again, I will not let them touch my car after damaging it in the first place. very disappointing. UPDATE- we did end up taking the car to them to repair the damages. The man that repaired them did a good job and seemed much more experienced. Our Equinox windshield got a decent crack in it from the past winter, and with warmer weather this spring the crack grew dramatically. Luckily we have insurance cover the full cost of the repair. Scheduled an appointment with MS Glass and they came out to our home on time and replaced the windshield within 30 minutes. This was by far the worst experience I have had with any business. What I will detail here doesn't even cover all of the insanity that we went through but I don't want to muddy the water too terribly so here it goes: There were several trivial issues from the get-go however they were followed by a botched install, they left broken glass and butyl (windshield sealant) all over my interior and it also leaked during rain within the first 24 hours. After a call to the office they refused a refund and made me bring it in. On good faith I gave them a chance to fix their mess after the manager very hesitantly agreed to refund the mobile-fee. The second install was much better, the first time there were giant boogers of butyl/sealant hanging down from the seal (not coincidentally, right where it was leaking) This time the sealant was uniform and out of sight. BUT, they still left the interior covered with glass and even more seal pieces allover - I will note that this time they did brush or vacuum the top of the dash but the console and gauges and cupholders had a ton of glass and pieces of the old seal covering them. Then upon pickup of my vehicle it was left unlocked in their lot which is not in a good area for car break-ins (see their google reviews for break-ins while at their location), they also refused to refund mobile-fee that the manager had previously agreed to refund over the phone. I had to alter my work schedule to bring the vehicle in to their shop because they flat-out refused to come out and repair it. And to add insult to injury when my wife asked for a copy of the receipt for the mobile-fee refund the manager told her sternly that there would be no refund and proceeded to call my wife a liar about the condition our interior was left in and ultimately blamed me (the vehicle owner) for the faulty install and for it leaking less than 24 hours after the initial install, accusing me of damaging the windshield seal somehow... *Here is the list of reasons the manager gave my wife and I that it leaked: "I (the owner) obviously did something to it" "I (the owner) tried to install something" "I (the owner) tried to re-install the back up camera cord" "I (the owner) bolted lights on the roof and caused the leak" "There was rust and they didn't have the right tools to fix it" "I (the owner) did some body work and there was bondo". All of these are total fabrications, this is not a joke, these are the exact reasons that she quoted as the cause of our post-installation woes. Keep in mind that our windshield NEVER leaked before they touched it. There are lights on the roof however there are ZERO bolts present as they are mounted to a gutter mounted rack that has nothing to do with the windshield (not to mention it has been on the vehicle for years). Apparently this false theory was shared with their "corporate office" as the also condescending "3rd" woman from corporate explained to us how "bolts in the roof can cause problems." I will mention again, there are NO bolts anywhere in the roof - the roof structure is completely factory original, no bondo (maybe factory filler which is NORMAL) and NO bolts. So apparently they just simply team up as false witnesses and regurgitate things that aren't so. I will add that the first 2 women at the corporate office were professional but the 3rd woman we spoke refused to let my wife speak with a supervisor/owner and actually hung up on my wife. The manager came off as sweet and caring right up until I called with a leak and complaints about the install and then she became very short and condescending. Long story short, zero compensation for our time and having to clean the vehicle multiple times. The second install crew even left a cigarette lighter and tools in my truck, pretty outstanding attention to detail. The "corporate office" sided with the manager and they even went as far as to guilt trip us about how "the glue they use cost's $10 a tube and they had to use two because they did the job twice" as if this is somehow our fault. There were no apologies and the talking points that they used were downright zany, I've never witnessed a business handle themselves so unprofessionally, There are many better options in Salem such as Tipton's and State Auto Glass, I was pressed for time and used MS Glass on a recommendation. HUGE mistake... oh and for some icing on the garbage cake, they advertise a "lowest price guarantee" and after calling another shop to inquire about having them correct MS Glass' work they actually aren't the cheapest anyway... Wowza. THE BOTTOM LINE: This entire ordeal could have been avoided if the manager would have honored her word and refunded the mobile fee to help compensate us for our time since we had immediate issues with their workmanship. But instead she decided to be snarky, deny the refund she previously approved and then resort to personal attacks and blame us for the leaks. read more
