I came in to get my dress hemmed as it was far too long. When I picked it up she asked if I wanted to try it on, I said no because it was a simple hem job(my mistake). The dress was still just as long as it was previously! I'm wearing heels in the photo and that is the length my dress was supposed to be with flats! She does a great work when it comes to the fine details compared to the mainstream tailors at the bridal store. My only complaint is that I wished I went with my gut and didn't listen to her when I said wanted to "tuck the butt" she kept saying I shouldn't because I won't be able to sit or dance but my dress material is crepe. Crepe is very stretchy. On my wedding day my dress looked like I still needed another alternation. I even wore butt pads to help fill out my dress. I was caught up in the stress and just went with the experts advice. I wished I trusted my gut and just "tucked the butt". Jenny (Tailor) works out if her house- I was surprised as none of the reviews mention this. With that said, she has a full tailor set up when you walk in but the kitchen and food odors were strong. I was worried if I left my dress it might take on some of the food odors. The real concern is she is not a bridal tailor, she did not know some very basic principles (like fastening the interior built in bra of the bridal gown before the exterior of the gown. She ripped my dress and said my dress was too small (when in reality it is 2 sizes too big). I cannot speak to her tailoring skills as I went back to my dress shop and was referred to a bridal tailor who has been great . If you have a bridal gown I would be cautious and seek out a tailor who works specializes in bridal gowns. Thank you read more
