So I moved out here a year ago from California. I have never gone to another other place since I've moved to Arizona. I swear by this place. I go in every 3 weeks to a month to get a gel pedicure and SNS manicure. Omg! The nails last the whole month, also. They do fantastic work and they have a lot of colors to choose from. When I say A LOT. I mean A LOT. They have all kinds of Gels & SNS colors. I highly recommend coming here and if you are getting SNS, I highly recommend making an appointment with Annie. They also have a rewards system that I really appreciate, as well. The only downside about this place is gratuity is cash preferred and they do not show prices in the store. I am really irritated that I spent 40.00 on a powder dip and the lady was rough and I ended up with cuts on my cuticles! I'm mad that I gave her a tip even. She didn't give me a soak or cuticle cut thankfully or a massage for this price either! She was also flicking my fingers hard every time she dipped. Just rough all the way around. I work at an auto shop so I work around fluids at times and have to sanitize often also (this really burns now). Now it's Monday morning, I'm at work and two of my fingers burn and sting and are red since yesterday. (Sunday) I go to get something out of my purse or bump them and they hurt!! There is NO reason that she should be leaving any marks on customer's, being she is a professional and has years of training and hours working on people. If you aren't happy with your job and are not gentle and kind to customer's, then maybe you need a break or new job?! I don't know if I will go back but this is my second time. I went to Perfect Nail once or twice a month for over four years. I always got a top of the line mani-pedi. The bill was always around $85-100 which was fine. After a couple years of Covid I called and tried to make an appointment but they didn't answer my calls??? I even called the other location and asked if that store was still in business and was told yes they were. I stopped in and said hi to Tim and asked him if he was having trouble with his phone because I tried to call multiple times and didn't get an answer or a message. Then I asked him who used to do my mani-pedi and he said he didn't remember, which wasn't true. He said they were too busy today to do me and I said OK and went up to the desk to make an appointment for a later day. The young man at the desk made an appointment for me but then Tim talked to him and I was told that he couldn't set an appointment for me. I asked why. He was embarrassed and said he couldn't understand why not. I went back over to Tim and asked him what the problem was. He said no one wants to do me anymore. Obviously I was shocked so I asked Tim why. He said you take too long they don't want to massage your feet. Just for clarification I would get an extended foot massage if Tammy wasn't busy so she could make more money, it wasn't every time, and I paid her well. I was a $20 tipper for the pedi and an extra $10 if she gave me an extra foot massage. In addition I always tipped the manicurist $10. So my tips alone were $30-40 every time I went in. In addition to that over the years over a dozen times I would buy Starbucks for EVERYONE in the store! Sometimes the bill was in the hundreds. I also gave gifts to the tech's son and I probably referred over 50 people to the business. One of my sons and his wife still go there. My wife also came in for years as well. All this being said Tim would not give me a straight answer when I asked him why he wouldn't continue to do my mani-pedi's. I was very loyal and generous customer and I think I deserve a straight answer and not be ghosted on the phone when I called and tried to make an appointment and given some lame reason why they didn't want to do my mani-pedi's anymore. On top of that it was embarrassing to me to be turned away in view of the whole business after all my years of supporting the business. I told TIm if I did something to upset ANYONE please let me know and I would apologize, but he still would not give me a straight answer. I went here because my coworker recommended this place and she said to ask for Sarah and so I did but she was unavailable both times I went. So I need to get in ASAP. And my normal place was busy as well. So I just went with someone else. It was a guy, and I have never been so afraid to get my nails done before. He was extremely rough & I told him I have sensitive nails to begin with and he just laughed, maybe he didn't understand me? But my nails were ON FIRE, and he cut me twice with the drill. He felt bad and i said it was okay but I was so scared. He continued to be rough. The nail tech never even asked me what I wanted as far as length or style. They are extremely unfriendly, they only talk to each other and do not to to converse with the clients at all! The man who did my nieces pedicure was very rough and she told him he was hurting her several times yet he continued on in a rushed manner and even made her bleed on several toes! I have been going to this salon for over five years and I cannot go anywhere else. Tami is my mani and pedi lady and she is absolutely amazing! No matter what design I ask her to do, she does it and does a spectacular job! As for the salon as a whole, they are one of the cleanest around, and when it comes to feet, that is most important. I came here to see if anyone had rated their lashes as I'm looking to get it done and I'm shocked by the amount of negative reviews. I have been coming here for probably 5 years now. They are always friendly and I don't bother to make an appointment because no matter who I wind up with I am always pleased with the result, and if you're not speak up and they'll fix it. Also, I love that I can get my nails and toes done at the same time... the less time spent the better, IMO. They are priced similarly/slightly higher than other locations but they are CLEAN and talented. My current SNS mani is going on week 3 and looks fresh. Highly recommend this place. I have been going there off and on for a long time. Last visit, a few weeks ago, I had my SNS dip removed. My nails have never been in such bad shape!! I also think that he passed on a bit of fungus to a couple of my nails. It took a bit of time, but I hope it's finally gone. have had this process done many times before, and never had a problem when anyone removed them. The guy that did mine last time was sanding them down with his machine and just went way too far. He must have not wanted to take his time with the process and just wanted to move on to the next client. My nails are so thinned out now, and I have had to keep them so short!! I have given this place multiple opportunities but they keep getting progressively worse. Seems they just care about pushing people in and out. I was in recently and they want to get in and out so quickly they burn your nails from filing. They push your nails in your face to make you decide if the shape is correct which it usually is not. I got a neon yellow color and it looked awful, so patchy. They must know they aren't good but they don't care about quality as we are just dollar signs to them. But WORST of all, I was checking out and I assume the guy who did my nails didn't think I was going to tip him so he immediately became rude and just laid my receipt on the counter and walked away. I would not recommend this place. My teen daughter went with a friend for pedicures. The nail tech painted one toe and asked if that was the right color she was wanting, my daughter told her no and asked if she could get a lighter shade. The nail tech said "well that's the color you picked". My daughter, trying her best to stand up for herself, said no, that's not the color I picked. But the nail tech rolled her eyes and continued to paint my daughter's nail the wrong color. I am using this as a teaching moment for my daughter, who never wants to visit these salons again by how disrespected she was treated. She was kind enough to still leave a tip because she didn't want to be rude. In reading the most recent reviews, it looks as though this place is no longer a nice place to go to. If you can go somewhere else to get your nails done... do it. This place is sooo overpriced and they do not take their time. I came in after work and Yes it was a bit busy. But when I finally sat in the massage chair the water was very cold. A regular pedicure is $27 dollars or you can get it for a little less, but without the massage. If you want a good job, go somewhere else where the prices are affordable and they spend time on you. Pro tip- across the street is another nail salon with more reasonable prices. Been going here for nine years. I see Brian for my Pedicures and he's awesome but just left without saying anything. Vivian did my nails and always knows what I want and did a fantastic job. Vivian left also. I love my pedicures there and their much closer places to my home than Perfect Nails but I still make the drive. I see Kim now for my nails and she always does a perfect job. I show her a picture of what I want and she runs with it. Always does a fabulous job! Not sure I'll find anyone as great as Brian for Pedis but I'll keep going because I love how Kim does my nails and she never disappoints! I have had some other guys in the past do my nails when Kim was not available and was kind of rude. I was told it's their culture. She is meticulous and is able to do super fancy interesting one of a kind nails or something from a picture. If you are not sure, give her a color and let her come up with something fun. People complain about nail salons they go to, but it is not about the name on the door, it is about the nail tech. When you find someone good, that' who you go to regardless of location. If you've ever wondered if your nail tech is talking about you. They are, especially here. I've been going here for about a year & when Stephen was there it was great. But since he's no longer working I've been just bouncing around to different nail techs. Although it may not look like it, I am born & raised Vietnamese. I went into today to get a fill with white acrylic powder. Which I've been getting for years.. They immediately started talking about how it was ridiculous, the length, the shape etc. Then they continued to talk about whoever had to work on me had the worst luck ever.. like ok? It's a fill, coffin shape & white. I really don't think it's that ridiculous. It takes a certain skill set yes, but it's not impossible. I'm an understanding person, if you can't do it, just say so. I'll take my money else where. Anyways, i finally get seated & the lady was not happy, she kept talking to coworkers (in viet) about how I was "making her do so much work" & how next time she refuses to work on me again.. She barley said 2 words to me. Didn't ask about the length, shape, nothing. They also talked the entire time about about other customers, saying things like they are a bad tipper or their nails are nasty & no one wants to work on them. They also admitted that when someone comes in & they don't want to work on them they will just let them wait until they eventually get fed up & leave. I have spent hundreds of dollars here! Came in for the first time and I am not impressed. They close at 7pm and I came in around 515 and asked for a fill I was also doing a pedicure with my boyfriend. As we were getting our pedicures done the whole staff was sitting next to us joking with eachother waiting around for the ladies to finish. It felt super rushed and I was not given the add on services that I requested. They did not let me sit and wait for my nail polish to dry. She went to go put my sandles on and as soon as that happend everyone jumped up and grabbed their jackets to all leave. By that time it was 630. And we were being rushed out the door. Ive been coming here a few months. I was a walk-in til a couple fills ago I started asking4 Donna &making apts. A few Fridays ago, I called in the morning to book an apt w/Donna be4 work that night. They gave me an apt 1.5 hrs be4 I had2 leave 2get2 work on time, which seemed like enough time4 nails/pedi. Whn I got there the place was packed, every nail tech was busy including the one I had an apt w/, which made sense since it was a Friday & I think prom/graduation or smthn. But I figured since they told me I had an appt w/her@ this specific time that that's what it was.. Nope. I told the front desk kid that I had2 leave4 work @a specific time &scheduled 2do nails/pedi, so he grabbed someone2 do just a polish change.. Well passed my apt time went by be4 Donna called me back. I told her I had 2leave 4work in now like 30-40 min& she told me she could get it done w/in that time. I ended up getting done 10min *after* the time I needed 2leave.. The gel polish on my nails ended up being super bumpy. I went 2pay &the front desk kid was super rude about me doing tips w/card, even tho that's how I've been doing it since the very 1st day &no one ever said anything. But this day he said I wasnt allowed 2.. buuut then proceeded 2add the tips on.. Which ok w/e if its a new rule, but I had an apt soo maybe u could've told me that was a new thing when I made the apt..? &that day, no one ever apologized or mentioned anything about my appt time or anything.. Fast fwd 2 yesterday. I didnt wana go back but the other place I was guna go didnt have any openings. Sooo I called this salon4 Donna. Again the front desk kid told me she had an opening @5:30, so he put me down. I got there early& went back 2use the restroom &saw Donna had a girl@ her table w/foils on her nails. I figured maybe it was just a removal &were almost done &Id go back on time...but NOPE again. I waited til 15min passed cuz I was distracted looking@ memes, lol. But then I got up &stood by the front desk where I could see Donna's table & she was frickin gluing tips on the girl like barely starting a full set of acrylics.. So I didn't say anything but the front desk kid says brb I'll check how long.. comes back & is like my manager said it would only be 5 min.. which was obviously a lie!!! I saw her putting the tips on the girl w/my own! freakin! eyes! & I been getting my nails done for like 10yrs - I know how long it takes. So I got pissed & I was like um I can see that she's barely putting tips on that girl so I'm pretty sure it's guna be longer than 5 mins. & He's like well my manager said 5 mins, so unless he's lying... that's how long they said it would be. So I said eff this & left!! & Went to the nail salon next door in the same parking lot LOL they got me in immediately & they did a great job. I CAN'T STAND IT when ppl dnt respect ur time, especially businesses & places u have an apt w/. Why tell me I have an apt at a specific time if ur not guna take me at that time? Wtf is the point. It's like 1st come 1st serve, eff ur apt time cuz it dsnt actually exist, they're guna take the 4 walk-ins that just came in right be4 u arrived on time respectfully 4ur frickin apt they scheduled 4u. This is exactly why I left my last nail girl, she gave zero effs about my time, my day, if I had any obligations after my appt w/her. I dnt think it was Donna in any way that caused these bad experiences at this salon at all, btw. If ur guna go here, see her, she is great. BUT it srsly is so obvious that this salon just never turns down a walk-in, they just want2 get u in &eff every1 else so you can pay them4 the service, even if u have to wait around 4freaking ever2 actually get taken back. I came here a week ago with a friend and initially had a great experience. They got us in quickly and we're able to do a mani/pedi at the same time. When we paid they offered a reward program that for every dollar you spend you get a point, that can eventually lead up to receiving $10 off your visit. I thought this was awesome considering I get my nails done about once a month. During the following week the SNS manicure I had done starting to crack and peel off my nails. I went back the following Saturday, literally ONE week since my initial visit and I got nothing but attitude from the employee that fixed my nails. He should have fixed all of my nails but only did the ones that had completely come off or had been chipping off. I had done white nails with my ring fingers being a silver glitter. They couldn't even find the silver glitter so when I requested to swap to a gold, I got the impression I annoyed him even further. Once he finished repairing the 7 out of 10 nails, I noticed that the white that was on the 3 nails prior was not the same white as the one he just put on my other nails. At this point I wasn't even going to waste anymore of my Saturday in their salon. Now I see why they offer a rewards program cuz their service sucks and you have to constantly go back to get your nails fixed. Needless to say I will NOT be going back. JIM was incredibly RUDE the whole time he was doing my nails. I guess they don't like it when you ask questions. His work is terrible as well. My gel nails were peeling off after 3 days!! Yes, 3 days!! Quinton did not even scrub while giving me a pedicure. He was too busy watching the tv as he was doing my toes. At least he wasn't rude. Do not waste your time and money!
