I started going to Aman to get my eyebrows threaded this past summer when she was at the other location on 7th Ave. My brows were so thin and she was very patient when she explained that it would take a while for my brows to reach its full potential. She has sinced moved to this location which is a lot bigger and brighter than the last, and I followed her. She's that good! 5 months later, and my brows are a lot fuller and the shape is amazing. Aman and her staff are always very friendly and the salon is spotless. She also tries to make my upper lip threading a little less painful which is appreciated. I've been coming here for over a year now to get waxed and threaded. I usually request for Fnu because I feel most comfortable with her and she always does a great job on everything she does. It is never too painful since she tries to keep you distracted by sparking conversation. Aside from Fnu everyone else there is also very pleasant to work with. Do not and I repeat- DO NOT get lashes done here. Pay the extra $ and go to someone who actually knows what they're doing- I lost my REAL lashes and have had swollen eye lids since I got them done. Most painful thing I've ever experienced I don't think I'll ever get my lashes done again. I don't even know where the hell they were trying to put the lash, it's ridiculous. read more

3 Brazilian waxing sessions. I went for the second one and besides making me wait for a long time (I scheduled my appointment) she burned me down there. Yes it was too hot I guess (which I communicated) or/and she was trying going over the same area multiple times. I can feel it but honestly I was not looking. I have had waxing before in other places and never had a bad experience.The result is that I GOT BURNED and the bikini area turned dark right before my vacations. In case you don't want to read this all: Dont go here. Service sucks. They burnt my pubic area. Dont go here! I was looking for a place to get a Brazilian on a budget, and found a deal on Groupon for $20 Brazilian sugaring here. I usually go to Omni Spa on 5th ave, where it costs around $60 with a tip. As soon as I left Perfect Brows I learned theres some things you want to spend your money on - like having your pubic hair removed. I made an appointment through Groupon for 2.30. I arrived a little early and had no problem waiting, although the woman there, (older, south asian) seemed annoyed by my presence and was rather rude in telling me to wait til her coworker was finished. Whatever, patience is key. Anyway, as I'm waiting, I watch the other woman who is supposed to give me a wax butcher some poor customers eyelash extensions. She tells her she needs to wait for the glue to dry, then hustles me into the back room. Long story short, it was a mess. The woman helping me (I shouldve gotten her name) is of east-Asian descent, and clearly more focused on her other customer who she is watching on a screen in the room we're in. She starts applying the wax and I tell her it's way too hot. She applied wax all over my pubic area, something I've never had someone do (they usually do small areas at once) and just starts yanking the hair out, constantly looking back at the screen behind her. She wasnt focused, and the wax hurt more than I've ever experienced. She left a lot of hair, and didnt tweeze or thread the extras like they do at most places. The process is over in less than 10 minutes. My pubic area is burning, red, and bleeding a bit - which has never, ever happened before. At this point, I get dressed and pay, and they tell me not to use Groupon and they'll charge me $20 next time anyway. I'm trying to get out of there. The wax sucked. I had a blister in that sensitive spot between my cheeks. Yeah, it was awful. My pubic area is now prickly like I shaved, when usually it grows back thin and soft, I dont know how she managed to get this effect. I went back the next day to ask for a refund, and the woman that waxed me basically told me it was my fault and refused to give me my money back. Don't go here. Spend your money wisely to have a soft smooth vagina area. This place sucks! And now I have to wait for my hair to grow out again to fix this mess. Don't go here. read more

This location is very clean and easy to find. I am welcomed with smiles no funny vibes each time I go. I only got my eyebrows threaded and a Brazilian wax for her and FNU did them both. She is very gentle and makes me comfy. I recommend this place to anyone needing to try a new place. read more

Absolutely horrible. I called in to confirm the prices of what I wanted (side face threading and upper and lower lip wax) and said I'd be in soon. When I got there and said I called in earlier they said I never did- but in their own language to each other and little did they know I understand. Ironically the person who claimed I never called was the one who picked up the phone. As she began I noticed she didn't sanitize her hands beforehand and she DOUBLE DIPPED the same stick in the wax pot. How disgusting. When she started threading this Asian looking woman with long hair commented on how skinny I was in their own language and both of them started laughing. Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous. If they knew I understood what they were saying they wouldn't have said anything at all. When she finished I noticed she didn't wipe off the stray hairs on my face and my lips were still sticky from the wax. On the way back home I saw my face was bleeding. This whole experience is absolutely unacceptable especially in 2017. The positive reviews make no sense. I am never coming back here again. read more

I've been to this brow salon 3 times, and I'm never going back. The first time, I was annoyed, the second time, more so, and finally today did it for me. The first time I went to this salon, I went to simply get my eyebrows threaded. The woman commented on how expensive my coat was (which is rude), and told me to drink more water for my break outs. I did not ask for her opinion about my skincare. But whatever, maybe I'm sensitive, so I gave it another try and went back for another threading. The same woman again commented on my coat, making me uncomfortable, and told me I needed to get my eyelashes refilled. I don't recall asking her about my eyelashes. It was 6:45pm, they close at 7, and she told me as I was leaving to come earlier next time so she doesn't miss her bus. That's not my problem, the salon is open. Today, my coworker and I waited in the chair for over 10 minutes while the employees finished eating in the back. We were the only ones in the salon. Strike three, I won't be back. read more

Today was my first time here, I've had a hard time finding a good place and person to do my eyebrows. I was referred by my friend/ co worker to come here since she goes herself and she loves it. My experience today was great, it was two ppl being seen at the time of my walk in and as I opened the door to come in I was greeted by a young lady named Aman. I showed her how I wanted my brows from a picture I had and she did exactly what I asked her. I have been messed up by the last few ppl I gave chances to going to get my eyebrows. I only do my brows once a month but since my past few times I'm my search of finding a good eyebrow person they have failed me, and messed up so I just let my brows go lol. I'm happy with Aman and I love this place. It was hassle free and she was very friendly I will sure return to her for service. The place was clean and easy to find. I see there are a few of these places around with the same name but I will stick to this address. If your in the area or simply looking for a good place for eyebrows or others service they may offer they are worth the chance.
