Milford has a ton of pizza places so when I heard Tennessee's was turning into a pizza bar I wasn't impressed. However, I'm a fan. Pepperoncini's has legit pizza and outstanding onion rings. The wraps and subs heading to other table looked huge with great portions of fries. I was there for lunch and loved how clean it looked. Wooden bar, flat screen h.d. t.v.'s, framed sports theme/jersey's, nice lighting. It has a nice feel to it. At the same time, the dining area is very small, there is a pool table at the bar side, a few gaming consoles at and around the bar, and on the dining side there is a atm machine by the restrooms. Other than lunch, this is a bar first, standing room at night second, and dining third type of place. Aka, if I bring my family we won't be staying any later then 8. Disappointed in my experience with the service. I'll caveat that by saying the pizza is good. It's not amazing. Actually, both pies we ordered came out soggy - one very soggy to the point where a slice could not be picked up, and one just a little soggy but still easy to pick up. They were tasty, though. I placed an order over the phone using their online menu, and was told that the order would be ready in 20 minutes. Twenty minutes later, I arrived at the restaurant and was told that the pizza I ordered was no longer on the menu and I could order something else. I was also told that the other small pizza I ordered would NOT be large enough for two people. So I placed an order for another small and was told they would rush it. The hostess rang me up for the order and I went to wait. About ten minutes (maybe five, my timing may have been off), the hostess comes to me and tells me that they actually had made the pizza I originally ordered, so she had refunded my credit card the original cost and rang up the new (original) more expensive order before consulting with me. At that point, I think a reasonable place would have just eaten the additional five or six bucks, but they didn't. I don't have a lot of faith that I won't have to call this restaurant to reverse the other charge. Anyway, the steak tips were good, but the Zeus pizza may as well have been soup. Came for lunch. Quickly greeted and sat. Server gave me enough time to review the menu, but didn't keep me waiting. Ordered the soup and sandwich special, which ended up being clam chowder and a turkey club. The chowder was a little salty, but tasty. The club was great. Also, the food came out very fast. I just went to Pepperoncini's in Milford for the first time, and I must say they are lacking. I ordered a pizza to go while I waited at the bar. The pizza came out but went to the take out stand so I waited for quite awhile until the manager came and sais this is your pizza and it has been at the take out stand for a "few minutes". I should have checked but I accepted what I was told. Well the pizza was ICE COLD, and when I called and talked to the manager (who brought me this cold pizza in the first place) I was told to have a nice night and hung up on. I've never written a review before but felt I had to after this. Milford has a lot of great pizza places inculding Cafe Sorrentoe's and Prezo's ,but the big difference is thatb those restaurants seem to care about thier customers where Pepperoncini's didn;t seem to care what thier customers think I gave it 2 stars because the bartenders where very nice to me but I won't oredr food there again since mamangement doesn't seem to care about what thier customers think about thier product or service read more

We tried their Potato Pizza- sounded really great on the menu... But the potato slices were hardly cooked- still really crunchy. The potato portion was horrible- we ended up pulling them off to eat the pizza. Stick with a cheese pizza if you're eating here! read more

Let me preface this review by saying that I have NEVER written a restaurant review in my life. My husband, adult son, and I visited Pepperoncinis tonight. It was my 4th visit, 2nd for dinner. There was a short wait and after we were told our table was ready, during which time we witnessed another waitress seating a party that had just walked in at the table we were just told was ours. We remedied that situation and our waitress wiped down our tollbooth. When I mentioned that the seats were wet, the hostess said "at least they are clean" Not a big deal, but in retrospect of how the rest of the evening went, I thought it was worth mentioning. The waitress took our order and we almost immediately ordered an appetizer. Shortly thereafter we ordered our meals and the salads ended up coming out BEFORE the appetizer. It seemed like the waitress forgot the appetizer because she looked at me and turned around and grabbed the appetizer from the kitchen. It was obvious that she realized that she forgot something. The good points? The food was great, drinks were generous. The cons? THE WAITRESS! She never cracked a smile, treated us like we were privileged to be there, whenever she checked in with us to see if everything was okay, if we needed anything etc...she was halfway down the aisle before we could answer!! When we finally received our check..we realized it wasn't ours. So we kindly told her. Her response? She looked at us. took it and crumbled it up in her hand and walked away!!!!!! WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT? WAS IT OUR FAULT YOU GAVE US THE WRONG CHECK? We simply said "this is not our check". When we got the new check we gave it to the manager and explained our concern about the waitress. He was apologetic and said he would speak with her. We weren't looking for a free meal or anything but I think he should have been a bit more apologetic. My husband, son, and I have worked in the industry and we were never so close to not leaving a tip for the first time in our lives. We will certainly think more than twice about going to Pepperoncinis again. It's too bad because the food has been consistently good. read more

Great pub food and their pizza is awesome. The bread is very addicting! Fun lunch break atmosphere with TVs always on, golden tee, keno, and scratchers. The bar area is spacious and we can actually all fit when we come here for lunch :) read more

My fiancé and I used to order from here almost weekly. Over the last few times, we've picked up our order just to find it was wrong when we got home. AMAZING pizza! Living in ashland, there really are not many great pizza places. I finally found the pizza I've been looking for! Got the tomato and mozerella salad, which was good. I had the white pizza and split it with a friend. We both had leftovers to take home. We stayed an extra hour to get some drinks at the bar and listen to the live music. Very fun! Great atmosphere and good service. I would definitely recommend this place to locals and out of towners! read more

The staff at this place was extremely rude to my friend who asked if she could sit with my friends and I because she was our designated driver, but she was under 21 so they said that she could not enter the restaurant past 9:30pm. I have been here many times over the last couple of months and overall good place to watch a Sox Game, have a beer, and eat some very tasty wings. The pizza is good, the bread they serve as a warm up for dinner is excellent and calzones are huge. Service is usually good. By far the wings are my favorite here, crispy and tasty. Went in today for lunch. Ambiance was nice enough and we were quickly seated. I ordered the surf and turf (steak tips and shrimp). The steak tips were delicious!! The shrimp were completely unseasoned. They had char from the grill and that's about it. Not good. The mashed potatoes were the same, bland and had no flavor. They forgot to bring my second side of broccoli and when they finally brought it back it was a bunch of yellowed broccoli in a bowl of water that they attempted to steam. I don't want wet broccoli. I came here tonight for a friends birthday party because it was randomly halfway between all of our houses and we are SO happy we did. The bartenders Kelsey and Amanda were SO AMAZING. Not only did they take care of us quickly but they also were so personable and kept us entertained. The pizza is TO DIE FOR! And "specials" drinks are all SO GOOD and they make great suggestions if you've never been there before. Also they had live entertainment.. A woman with a killer voice. It was such a great night and we can't wait to come back! Oh and at the end of the night after the singer was done- they have a great jukebox. I can't believe how great of a night we had because of their awesome staff. We WILL be back!! I'm so obsessed with his come as you are, no ego, no judgment great time bar. So cool! read more

I went there with a friend from work Friday night and sat at the bar. They had live entertainment which was pretty good. We ordered a pizza and some takeout. We ordered a beer while we waited. Then came the waiting. While we were waiting we could see the two girls behind the bar drinking up a storm. After 45 minutes I finally asked about our order. The bartender said "sorry I forgot to put in your order" then said that it would be for free if we wanted to wait. So we went to a booth sat down and waited and waited until finally we got our order to go. I do think that the food is good but the bartenders should be sober if they are working and in this case, both girls were the most intoxicated people in the place. Not sure how the owner makes money. This is one of my favorite places to sit down and eat in Milford. The food has always been great and for the most part service is great except when there slammed and it's a little slow better the food normally makes up for it. My favorite items are the dry rub chicken wings and Italian chopped salad. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are just right not skimpy like a lot of other places when I leave here I always feel satisfied and normally have a little something to take home. Well what can I say. The BBQ pizza was horrible -tasted like chicken fingers with ketchup and vinegar topping I requested no oil on pizza, they said they don't doug-yet when it arrived. I soaked off green oil which I am sure was olive oil. The bartender could care less. I ordered some pizza sauce to add flavorso they brought me out a bowl of cold tomato sauce. A group of coworkers and I ordered food to go. One of them ordered a ricotta, mozzarella, and prosciutto calzone. Menu stated "ricotta and mozzarella calzone with marinara - $8.25. Each additional item costs $1.99 each.". According to our math, the total should have been approx $10.25. Upon checking the receipt, my coworker was charged $8.25 for the "calzone", $1.99 for ricotta, $1.99 for mozzarella, and $1.99 for proscuitto (wasn't real prosciutto, was more like ham)!! Thinking it was a simple error, and because I live locally, I stopped by after work to show them the error. The waitress/floor manager, whoever she was went into full defensive mode. She was rude and defiant, insisting we were charged correctly. I told her they should change the way the menu reads because it was misleading. The most we thought it would cost is $10.25. She abruptly took my receipt, walked off and practically flung the $4 overcharge at me. Very, very unpleasant. Check your receipt carefully. And don't order the veggie pizza with the eggplant. Worst service and food experience ever. It took close to 45 minutes for our food to come because the kitchen lost our slip. When my wrap finally arrived, the meat was RAW, barely cooked at all. After two bites I stopped eating it. They brought it back and had the kitchen make a new one, by the time I got to eat it there was barely any point of eating it.
