Always come here for the pizza, breadsticks, and wings. All are delicious - especially the fresh cheesy breadsticks (but order them early as they require some extra time to cook)! There are a bunch f specialty pizza options or you may build your own - but they do not disappoint. There is an individual size pizza that is 12" for around $16, but it will surely leave you with leftovers. The regular sized salads are huge, so I opt for a side house salad with one of their 10 different dressings, so that I can save room for their other yummy dishes. The bar area is lively and always busy when I've been in, and the bartenders are friendly and attentive. There are about 16 different beers on draft - mostly local. read more

If I could give them ZERO stars I would! Every single time we order takeout from them they screw it up and we probably order out from there once a week. The manager (JESSICA) doesn't care. Called to complain and her excuse is "it's busy mistakes happen.". Sure, mistakes happen but customer service should be happening along with it. They have no clue what customer services. They have no idea to make a mistake right they only know how to make excuses...so they refuse to deliver the screwed up meals and they refused to comp the meal even though they screwed up every single time. Burgers were excellent but service was horrible. We had to go to the hostess station ourselves for service and napkins. Waitress barely looked at us and didn't ask the standard, "how would you like your burger cooked." Fortunately the burgers were just the way we like them but had to find her to ask for the mayo we ordered. Found the waitress hanging with her boyfriend at the bar area. Never got the waters we asked for. Beer tasted like the tap needed to be replaced. And when we finally got the bill, it included two pizzas and sodas in addition to what we ordered. 15 minutes later we got the corrected bill. I never give less than 20% tip, but 15% seemed generous even during the holidays. Two other tables around us were frustrated at how long it took to take their order, and it wasn't that busy. We decided to go to pepperoncini's for a night out to eat. We sat down & encountered the most rudest waiter we have ever had in a restaurant. The food was "okay" but nothing to brag about. The waiter seemed to be aggravated about working. We ate & paid the bill & walked away towards the exit. At that point, I realized we left our left overs on the table & returned. No sooner then 3 min , the leftovers were thrown in the trash. We were told with a smirk "oh, we threw that away, sorry". Awful service & average food. Not worth the money or the 20 min ride to get there. So many other places are way better, service & quality of food. I work in a building with over 367 employees in the Milford area. I will be sending out an email to all my coworkers on how horrible our experience was..... I hope the owner decides to step in & look into this. read more

I've been here before and always found the food to be average. This review is based off our most recent take out order. The hostess was very pleasant and the order was done when stated. The parking lot itself is crowded and not easy to get in and out of. First of all, I understand it's take out and therefore would not be as great as in person dining. We started with an order of nachos which were really soggy and bland. Of course this could be due to the take out container but also lacked flavor as well. I ordered the meatloaf melt. The French fries were disgusting, some were soggy and some tasted barely cooked. The meatloaf itself was decent but burnt and dry on the edges. Not thrilled. My aunt ordered the chicken parm sandwich and sweet potato fries. The fries were also soggy and not worth the upcharge. She did say her sandwich was decent at best. read more

This is my first time here and I told the manager that. Blank stare. Small cheese pizza cost $13. I was surprised so I asked the manager. He was kind of a douche and said it was my fault that I didn't read the fine print saying I could have up to two toppings along with it. I said I did not know about that and he said it was my fault. I thought that I finally found a local spot for good bar food and excellent service. After visiting here a few times for drinks and a football game this place is your best choice for sports and food. You can watch five different games from your seat at the bar while enjoying their 35 cent wings which are the best in Milford hands down. For the quality and value they are really good for this area but it's a 50/50 shot in the evenings that your food will come out cooked perfect especially when the owner is not there. You notice this when the cooks are playing scratch tickets in the kitchen within view of the customers and when your order arrives it's over-cooked or just looks thrown together. This review breaks my heart honestly. I lived through the closing of the Framingham location and even after that, routinely traveled down rt. 126 to Milford to frequent the other location. Their pizza is still excellent, and while the faces have changed from when they were open in Framingham - until recently it was still a friendly neighborhood bar. But on my last visit there were signs that something is wrong here. We came in for a pizza with the kids on Mother's Day. Sat down and ordered a couple of beers and a large cheese pizza. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. Finally after 30 minutes, I went to the bar to see what the story was. Turns out the printer in the kitchen had run out of...paper. So order tickets weren't being filled. This had to have lasted a while. No one on the kitchen thought that maybe it was odd that there were no new orders coming in? Bartender explained the situation to me and said the pizza would be taken off the bill. I go back to the table. But no one comes over to ask about drinks. Staff are at the front desk and hanging around the bar, but service appears to be completely suspended. I go to the bar again to order more drinks while we wait for our pizza. Pizza comes out. It's good. It's the one thing this place can't screw up. That's the second star. We enjoy the pizza but sit for another 20 minutes after we're done. Not one staff member comes to service us or get us the bill. I take the kids to the bathroom. Still no bill. And again, I head to the bar to get my check. The last round of drinks and the pizza are comped. But it shouldn't be this way! I'm a businessman. Your waitstaff are salespeople. That the kitchen printer ran out of paper is regrettable. But for no one to notice? For the waitstaff to just hang around and not service customers? That's free money that is being lost. And then on top of all of that, you're taking sales of the bill to compensate for poor service? "Bar Rescue" was built on stories like this. I don't blame the kitchen staff or the waitstaff. This is an issue with management. This is a top to bottom lack of interest in the business. Peps is a pretty big staple in the area, but it's hard to see how it survives the thin margins of the market long term with such a universal inability to care. Maybe after 10+ years, it's not fun anymore. Cash out then. Sell to someone who has the passion to make this the place my kids want to go to every Sunday. read more

My husband and I went here for the first time last night and were very happy with everything. The service was prompt and friendly, great beer selection, and we both really enjoyed the wings and pizza. First they brought us some fresh, warm bread. It was so delicious it didn't even need butter. We ordered the garlic parmesan wings and they are the best I've had in this area. The chicken was meaty, juicy and dripping in sauce. I had a very disappointing experience here on Sunday 7-12-20 The service was not great, which is forgivable considering we are only weeks back into indoor dining. Five different people came to the table to take orders and or drop off food/ beverages. Only one put a mask on and only after he arrived at the table. In addition there was a loud conversation between a waiter and a patron about how stupid wearing a mask is and how they do not work. The wait staff all had buffs that they could pull up and down when needed. Both hostesses and the bartender didn't even appear to have masks at the ready; in the one hour I was there none of them wore a mask. And the kitchen staff I could see from the bar also were not wearing masks. Several customers arrived masked and were greeted and seated by a hostess not wearing a mask. I know there are a lot of people that do not believe in the science or recommendation/ordinance to wear a mask. If you are just venturing to dine out and nervous about contact this is NOT the place to go; they are not taking face covering seriously. In hindsight I should have left after noticing the lack of care for their customers wellbeing; shame on me. read more

I used to eat at the Framingham location regularly (when I was younger with my friends), like 3-4 times a week. Loved it. The Milford location doesn't even seem like the same restaurant. I was so excited to start bringing my toddler there, now that he'll eat pizza. First time we went (last week) was fine. Food was good. Waitress was nice. This week's experience was a world of difference and I will not go back. Our waiter was not at all attentive. Stood at the wait station and drank something the whole time. Was not at all attentive, we had to flag him down for everything! Forgot to put in our drinks etc. the worst part was my husband saw him use the restroom and walk out without washing his hands. He then (before I knew) brought us a box for our leftovers (hands still unwashed). I called the restaurant after I left just to let a manager know. The person who answered did not want to let me speak to a manager and offered to try to help. I said I would wait and wanted to speak to a manager. Once I got the manager, I explained the issue and told him straight out I wasn't looking for anything, but I thought he should know, being A. A restaurant and B. A pandemic that it was really super gross and pretty unsafe. He agreed it was gross and then basically hung up on me as I was telling him what server it was. His response was I'll talk to him and then a click sound. It felt super dismissive and honestly, The whole situation grossed me out. Recently visited Pepperoncini's with my work companions. We're a multi-nation team and this was our first group gathering in a year working together. It was a chilled venue which made hanging out, eating and chatting easy to do. The parking lot was a bit challenging for this California girl. I rented a SUV to caravan several of us to various meetings/events and I found the parking lot pretty tight especially for a larger car. It's not fancy, but the food was tasty, the service was friendly and accommodating. One of the servers (not our own) was even kind and patient enough to take several group photos for us at the end of our evening. The salads were good and the pizza was tasty. I've never seen a buffalo chicken pizza on the menu and my taste buds won't soon forget it, but hey - adventure! :) read more

my husband and i are transplants to the area, and have been very happy with each and every experience we've had with Pepperoncini's. we've only eaten here a handful of times, and have much more often gotten takeout. the pizzas are phenomenal, to start. thin crust, somewhat crisp, with good chew- the pizza is where it's at. their prices are reasonable for the size, and comparable to what's available in the area. we've also really enjoyed their wings, which are big, meaty, and well-cooked. they are sauced to perfection, and always delicious. salads have been good too, as well as sandwiches and sides. i honestly can't say good enough things about the food. they are often busy, and i feel could use the staffing of at least one additional person, whether it's a bartender, manager, etc. i do think they skimp on staffing, but it isn't too much to the detriment of guests. while we do wait sometimes, it's not ridiculous, and we don't feel ignored. i just think they would do better (and maybe sell more) if there was an additional person to share the load of customers. this is a great little local spot, and i would highly recommend checking it out. read more

We ordered takeout yesterday and were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. The pizza crust was undercooked and seemed to be previously frozen and the toppings were very unevenly distributed on the pizza and the slices were very unevenly cut. The chicken wings and fries were very overdone and dry and also seemed to be previously frozen not fresh. Our salads were just thrown together possibly from a bag. Nothing was freshly made or cooked. We threw out the leftovers this morning and will never go back again. Don't waste your time or money on this very low quality restaurant. read more
