We got it a few days early and put it in the freezer to keep...Took it out two days before eating time and let it defrost in the fridge. Transferred everything but the turkey to pots/pans on the stove for heating instead of the microwave and put the turkey in the oven day of. It was super easy to reheat everything and get it to temp. I had concerns about the mashed potatoes as those can be weird sometimes but they reheated perfectly. Everything tasted SO good, full of flavor, and very delish! The turkey was very moist and tender - like fall apart and the flavor of the gravy, and sides were all excellent. I think this was probably one of the best turkeys I have had. Definitely want to try the outpost farm again as I am sure everything they have is great. I was very happy with the choice and outcome and it made our Thanksgiving meal like a home cooked meal minus the mess and all the cooking lol.

That made me look more closely at their teas. I ordered some of their Richmond Park blend and some of their Mincing Lane. The latter's name was irresistible and descriptions of both sounded good. The package arrived earlier this week. I opened it to find they had included a sample of a loose leaf Christmas blend originating in Germany. I'm not fond of spiced teas, so I opened it and took a preliminary sniff, finding it not too heavily spiced, so I made a pot. It was subtle, less spiced than Constant Comment and less overwhelming than a tea Cost Plus used to sell which gave me a headache whenever I walked down the aisle where it was displayed. It was pleasant, though I wouldn't buy it. I made a pot of the Mincing Lane blend yesterday and it's very good. I've had two large cups and like it. It will fit in well w/ the teas in my rotation. I see that they sell a Ceylon Kenilworth tea. I bought some from Peet's in bulk and like it a lot. When I use it up I will buy more from Upton Imports, as Peet's no longer offers it.

It's safer and you don't have to worry about someone stealing your card. To this day they still deny stealing my number despite the cookie transaction saying it was on their end. I'm guessing Shope is the new store option for companies. I liked the old layout. I'm not a big fan of the new store layout u.i. design. Their reviews for products are too controlled. They will not let a single 1 star review tank a product. I've tried to leave a few but they won't let them through. I've bought some batches that were just straight up bad and others where it's clear the manufacture forgot to put it through the steps that make it that tea. I usually enjoy the sencha green tea japanese version. My only complaint is that it varies in strength each batch. I might try another version as lately it's been really weak. I bought some earlier this year and had to toss it all because it was past the return time frame. That batch didn't even go through the processing step to give the green tea that unique flavor. I may begin a new search for another tea company. Overall upton has served us well but I've been having issues with my favorite green tea being all over the place in strength and consistency.

They were hustling the entire time and I definitely have to give them credit for that! But honestly... the coffee just wasn't good Obviously that's just my opinion and everyone likes their coffee differently, but I was so excited to try this place and it just didn't do it for me. I wanted to love it because the vibe is definitely there!! Maybe I just need to go back and try something different next time.
