The owner immediately responded, addressed my concerns, and even offered me a gift card as compensation. I thought that was incredibly generous, and I truly appreciated how seriously he took my feedback. Today, I had a busy meeting at work, so I sent my coworker to this location to pick up some muffins for us. He was warmly welcomed and helped by two wonderful female employees. He brought back a dozen muffins, and I finally got to try one myself--the chocolate chip muffin was absolutely delicious! And when I say these muffins are HUGE, I mean HUGE! This location is AMAZING. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the establishment is clean and well-kept, and the muffins are delicious. I definitely recommend giving Muffin House a try!

If you typically add a flavored syrup or cream and sugar, though, you'll probably enjoy it more than we do.

It was great to have multiple plant-based milks to choose from. The decor was very cute--love the wood look--and there was an impressive array of baked goods... Including scones, which looked amazing. I just wish they had at least one dairy-free option! They do have a GF bagel. The place is located towards the back of the complex so you might want to park in the back, as opposed to where I parked in the front. Friendly service. I'll definitely be back to try more coffee flavors. There was only one other table of people present when I arrived at 9 AM. But by the time my friend and I left, the place was packed.

They had a wide variety of desserts, pies, cakes, cookies, etc. we were so full from dinner from lunch. Excuse me that we did not get dessert but we had promised we would come back we did, however, find out that they do do catering in the platters with absolutely out of this world. They had several kinds of bread as well for the sandwiches this time we got a wrap I think next time we'll definitely probably get it on like a whole-grain bread that they had because the wrap was just too much. But everybody was kind and friendly and helpful and welcoming, and that we were outside waves of the call our name and they brought our sandwiches right out to us. It was so big. We were only able to eat about maybe 3/4 and they brought the rest home for later. Met some nice people there that were singing on the tables and then the young fellow was taking the meat and stuff out of the smoker they had outside and he while we were there they took out the Rose turkey breast that they had been doing in the in the smoker, they also had ribs as well as a ham. They say they run it continuously all the time so I believe that it was just a lot of stuff going on, but there was definitely a lot of choices they had made to order. They also had fresh and they had frozen for you to take home. So this is I really like the variety we will go back.

The turkey was very moist and tender - like fall apart and the flavor of the gravy, and sides were all excellent. I think this was probably one of the best turkeys I have had. Definitely want to try the outpost farm again as I am sure everything they have is great. I looked through their tea offerings but what really caught my interest was the centerfold descriptions of how the range of teas from white to green to oolong to black to Pu-erh is made from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant, each type of tea coming from a different number of variations in the process. That made me look more closely at their teas. I ordered some of their Richmond Park blend and some of their Mincing Lane. The latter's name was irresistible and descriptions of both sounded good. The package arrived earlier this week. I opened it to find they had included a sample of a loose leaf Christmas blend originating in Germany. I'm not fond of spiced teas, so I opened it and took a preliminary sniff, finding it not too heavily spiced, so I made a pot. It was subtle, less spiced than Constant Comment and less overwhelming than a tea Cost Plus used to sell which gave me a headache whenever I walked down the aisle where it was displayed. It was pleasant, though I wouldn't buy it. I made a pot of the Mincing Lane blend yesterday and it's very good. I've had two large cups and like it. It will fit in well w/ the teas in my rotation. I see that they sell a Ceylon Kenilworth tea. I bought some from Peet's in bulk and like it a lot. When I use it up I will buy more from Upton Imports, as Peet's no longer offers it.

Things have definitely changed in the last year or so…read more Little things aren't as good as they used to be. For example, the product selection/search function on the site isn't accurate. For example, if I click Assam Tea from the Tea-Explore Further header menu, and then click Decaffeinated, it only returns one tea, a decaf Irish Breakfast Blend. But if I click Decaffeinated from the same Tea-Explore Further menu, it shows that tea AND a the CO2 Premium Decaffeinated Assam tea, which by definition should show in the first search but doesn't. The selection seems to be changing, fewer products in Teaware, more limited descriptions, much more of a focus on flavored teas (spices, flavorings, sweetened fruit additives) vs tea that's just tea. Fine if that's your thing, but it used to be an add-on vs a huge focus to the business Also, the ordering, shipping is now only through Shop, which means you can't login directly to Upton Tea and see your order history. You can only login by setting up a Shop account, which I don't want. The shipping options have changed, aside from one priority option with US mail, all the other options are through FedEx, and FedEx is very unreliable RE delivering accurately AND on time. The experience shopping with Upton Tea used to be stellar, and I'd recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic experience buying quality teas. On the front end, at least, the experience is very different, and I worry this company is going the way of a lot of independent companies - more mass market, more muddied shopping experience where the product focus shifts, and it's harder to engage with the actual company vs a generic web/POS interface.

Let me tell you about Chloe, the wonderful woman standing behind the counter. Chloe greeted me warmly and genuinely asked how I was doing. I came in on a Sunday morning for a coffee and to get some work done. I ordered a hot decaf hazelnut coffee. Which Chloe politely informed wouldn't be possible because the brewed decaf hazelnut was ICED, not hot. And the hot decaf coffee had no flavor - no hazelnut. and As soon as Chloe saw me trying which option to choose, she came up with a solution. She gave me half iced hazelnut, and half hot regular decaf. THE PERFECT SOLUTION! She went above and beyond, and did it without thinking twice. Chloe and Leah smiled at everyone who came in that morning, and deserve recognition for how amazing they both are. Keep up the good work, CKD!
