I get back in the car he puts them on quickly and puts my car bag on the ground. While he's putting my donut back in my trunk I notice the tire he just put on has a nail in it (but with brown goop around it) this sheister tried to sell me my same tire and didn't realize he put the tire on nail side up so I could see it(before I drove off). I explained to him that was too much of a coincidence for me and that I'd feel much comfortable with another tire. He pissed and moaned and groaned and frowned while putting me a different tire on. He thought he was getting a free 70 bucks outta me ughhh! The short, Caucasian guy with no teeth! He was rude and when he finished I tried to explain my logic and still thanked him for his service and he was angry and walked off lol!

So the dude with the ponytail tells me to pull up by the middle jack, stay in my car and bing bang boom he's done, give him my credit card and on my way. This is what he did to my car(pics to follow). Went back to show him, got ignored for half an hour, , finally just spoke up as he was blatantly ignoring me, my son stopped me from having a total meltdown as he was changing tire on a gorgeous G wagon, reminding me we were in Ferndale, but still on 8 mile. Point taken.

They looked up the price and it would cost $169. Before they purchased it from the dealership, they asked if we approved of that cost. We said ok based on that price. When we got finalized invoice the part that they said was $169 was being charged to us for $273. That is an approx 61% markup. Which is outside of a reasonable range, and was not communicated when we were ordering the part. It took 1 hour and 5 minutes to replace the motor and cost $169.99 for labor. Total invoice was $460. This is over the average cost I researched online by $100. Not sure this is a reasonable place to get your car repaired. Make sure you document the prices you discuss. If you are too trusting, it will backfire.
