Great service, quick and efficient and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Would definitely recommend them. Kirk read more

Got a tranmission fluid flush here a year ago for $158. They're now under new ownership and today when I went and requested the same thing they told me they couldn't figure out how to do it, they weren't capable of doing it, and if they did do it it would be a $600 job. They also told me my trans pan had NEVER been dropped despite the fact that the same shop dropped it a year ago and I drop it myself prior to that. Unfortunately JR's has gone from my favorite and most trusted shop to a place that I can't trust their knowledge on vehicles. read more

Ali and Hassan did an amazing job. Great customer service. The engine flush, oil change and transmission flush took no time at all. Great pricing as well. I highly recommend them. read more

Everything was great. Very friendly people and checked with me before they replaced or changed anything. I tried them based on yelp reviews and will definitely be going back! read more

I have had great experiences at this place. They do the job right and they don't try to sell you stuff you don't need. This is the best oil change and lube shop in the area and I've tried many. read more

I would give them 10 stars if I could!! Seriously. I've been going to this place for several years now and the customer service is TOP-NOTCH!! They are quick, they are kind, they aren't pushy with trying to upgrade or buy extra things you may or may not require. They just give you the straight up facts! Today I went in and got an oil change AND they found a nail in my tire which they quickly replaced and I was in and out of there in TEN MINUTES!! I could sit here any type all day about how much I love this place (or the fact that I drive from West Bloomfield to see them every few months), but go and see for yourself! You will not regret!! read more

My oil was in desperate need of changing so I went the jrs after moving to Sterling Heights, it's right down the road and has very professional nice people working for there. They have great pricing range. I'm so happy to have moved to this area. They are my oil change shop for life. They are first come first serve so no appointmen. I'm in and out 10 min. read more

I will definitely be going back for oil changes on all my cars. Very friendly and courteous staff, that offered us water, a vacuum and didn't try to push me into buying "extra" stuff I didn't need. I was in and out quickly and will be referring friends and family to them! read more

Family owned business with great service. Focused more on the vehicle and getting you in and out. My oil change was amazing and they offer to vacuum the car with it. Definitely returning! read more

I've been coming to this shop for 8 years, my entire family brings their vehicles here because we trust the team and have gotten to know them well. Car maintenance can be tricky especially if you don't have a background, I have full confidence that I'll be taken care of when I go to JR's! read more

This is the best oil change place I have ever been too ! I go out of my way to go there every time . The employees are super friendly and best of all don't try to sell you everything under the sun unless you actually need something . Prices are great ...they charge almost half of what other oil change places want to charge me !!! Great service ! Super fast and efficient!!!!! read more

I have taken my car here multiple times for service. They are very polite, quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend going here for oil change or other minor service work. read more

Thank you for the courteous, quick, reliable and inexpensive service. These guys are honest, and polite. Money's worth. Couldn't ask for better. Highly recommend. read more

Stopped in here on a whim in need of a quick oil change. Not only were their prices fair, Kyle was extremely hospitable and informative. They gave me an honest evaluation of my brake replacement. Very low pressure and friendly staff. I'll continue to visit. read more

A great example of a business that stands out from the rest. Most oil change places have a lingering worry about being shady but not JR's. The staff was very polite, friendly and informative. Asked if I wanted a water or coffee upon my arrival and even grease your door hinges and vacuum out your car while the service is being done. It was also a first for me being able to watch the tech under my car do the work on a tv screen mounted outside my vehicle. I'll continue bringing my cars here. Keep up the great work guys. read more

I went here the other day and was really impressed! Very affordable and cheaper than Valvoline. Affordable, friendly, quick, and professional; what more could you ask for? From now on, this is the place I will go to for all of my oil changes. Thank you, again! read more

After feeling "less than satisfied" with other oil-change shops I decided to visit JR's based on the volume of 5 star Yelp reviews this establishment has earned. Within the first MINUTE I knew those reviews were well deserved. The building is a very clean & well light facility that appears both functional & modern. Seeing a "tech-cam" (a live feed, clear-image-monitor showing ALL work being performed UNDER my car) was a first for me. I was impressed. All attendants were friendly, non pushy, professional and exhibited an enthusiastic desire to ensure I, as the customer, was completely happy and satisfied with their work BEFORE I paid or drove away. Fantastic shop & excellent service gentlemen. Keep up the great work; I'll be back. read more

I don't know if JR'S was sold or what happened by I just got my oil and windshield fuild filled for 40.00. The guys doing didn't seem to really know what they were doing. JR'S used to be the best place to go they would check everything. read more

I lived in the area and have been coming here for 10+ years. I have moved out of the area about a 30 minute drive from the shop and I still go back not just because of the great service but they also have the best prices around! Brad the owner is a stand up guy who has the the cleanest and best shop around!!! read more

AMAZING. The staff goes way above and beyond in every way! Would you like a beverage? Yessss. Here, let me open your door to pop the hood for you: Well alrighty. Would you like me to wash your windows and grease your doors? Why, yes! Thank you! Friendly staff, GREAT service, fair prices. First-time customer discount and great (free) deals if you need a top off on your oil in between servicing. Best spot around! read more

This is a great place to get your oil changed. They are very fair on price, $10 cheaper than one of their competitors for a synthetic oil change (they charged $55 and $5 off my next one). What makes this place unique though is that it's kind of like a drive-through oil change shop. You don't even get out of your car! This makes the service extremely transparent because they have cameras on the mechanics so you can see exactly what they were doing. I had to also get my transmission fluid changed, and they walked me through everything just to make sure I was informed about what they were doing to my car. This kind of service is unheard of anymore these days! Would definitely go back to them. read more

Being a first-time customer they offered an oil change for me for $25 offered to top off all my fluids and give my car a one over before I go up North the person on the phone I believe his name was sam he was so polite and willing to help me and made me feel very comfortable I will be coming back out this way to get my oil changed in the future they are very courteous and considerate of the customer thank you so much. For being there when my car needs some TLC read more

First time at this shop and glad I read the other reviews and stopped in. Great service, I felt that Brad was looking out for my vehicle instead of just selling me on products. I will definitely return and you should give them a try too. read more

Terrible service and a horrible experience. Called to get a price on an oil change, the man confidently gave me a price saying we've serviced these cars all the time. I got there and they tried charging me 2.5x more than what they quoted me. Then when I turned them down, they gave me a cheaper price because of a "coupon." When I still refused to get the oil change, the man started getting upset and giving me attitude. DO NOT RECOMMEND, save ur time and money and drive on to the next shop. read more

They were friendly, fast, and even offered me a water or coffee. I'll definitely be back for my next oil change.

These guys are simply the best! Cordial, professional, accurate and honest. I cant stress how amazing the service is. They bring you a beverage and you are in and out ASAP. The best shop in town read more

No stars. I was a 20 year customer of the previous owners. New owner said his name was Joe. I'm an elderly woman. He told me my antifreeze was only good to plus 10 degrees. But, he did not show me the apparatus he used, as was customary by the previous ownwers. He said I needed an $80.00 radiator flush. My car had a flush three years ago so I left and went to another lube place for a second opinion. They showed me the apparatus where it looked like all the balls were floating and said my antifreeze was clean and good to minus 34 degrees. Now, I'll let you be the judge on whether you think JR's new owners are reputable. read more

Asked and paid for deluxe full service. They changed oil, checked tire pressure, and oiled door henges. They than told me the total I owed. I had to ask them to check the air filter. Upon inspection I had it replaced. They again closed the hood. I had to ask them why they didn't fill my windshield washer fluid? Opened hood again they than filled it. Believe it or not they closed the hood again and still didn't offer to check trans fluid. I just told em don't bother I will never be back. I guess I should add that these are fairly new owners. Haven't learned the business in two plus years. Sure do miss the previous owners Bill and Brad. read more

What a great experience. My husband and I were just getting on the road to head back to Virginia and we stopped in. They had us on and out in less than 10 min. Super friendly. Next time we are in town we will be back to J. R. read more

I normally go to the dealership for my oil changes, but not anymore. My husband has been going here with nothing but good things to say, so I gave it a try. What a great shop! Very friendly and helpful from the minute I drove in. No high pressure sales tactics like at all the other places I have been to. Super clean facility. It is obvious they take pride in their business by how well they take care of their shop and their customers! They got a new regular customer here! read more

Clean, courteous, great customer service (took me in to change headlights 5 minutes before close). Have been here for oil changes in the past and have experienced great service then, too. Give this place a try, especially if you're a Mound road traveller. read more
