Got a tranmission fluid flush here a year ago for $158. They're now under new ownership and today when I went and requested the same thing they told me they couldn't figure out how to do it, they weren't capable of doing it, and if they did do it it would be a $600 job. They also told me my trans pan had NEVER been dropped despite the fact that the same shop dropped it a year ago and I drop it myself prior to that. Unfortunately JR's has gone from my favorite and most trusted shop to a place that I can't trust their knowledge on vehicles. read more

A great example of a business that stands out from the rest. Most oil change places have a lingering worry about being shady but not JR's. The staff was very polite, friendly and informative. Asked if I wanted a water or coffee upon my arrival and even grease your door hinges and vacuum out your car while the service is being done. It was also a first for me being able to watch the tech under my car do the work on a tv screen mounted outside my vehicle. I'll continue bringing my cars here. After feeling "less than satisfied" with other oil-change shops I decided to visit JR's based on the volume of 5 star Yelp reviews this establishment has earned. Within the first MINUTE I knew those reviews were well deserved. The building is a very clean & well light facility that appears both functional & modern. Seeing a "tech-cam" (a live feed, clear-image-monitor showing ALL work being performed UNDER my car) was a first for me. I was impressed. All attendants were friendly, non pushy, professional and exhibited an enthusiastic desire to ensure I, as the customer, was completely happy and satisfied with their work BEFORE I paid or drove away. Terrible service and a horrible experience. Called to get a price on an oil change, the man confidently gave me a price saying we've serviced these cars all the time. I got there and they tried charging me 2.5x more than what they quoted me. Then when I turned them down, they gave me a cheaper price because of a "coupon." When I still refused to get the oil change, the man started getting upset and giving me attitude. DO NOT RECOMMEND, save ur time and money and drive on to the next shop. read more

This is a great place to get your oil changed. They are very fair on price, $10 cheaper than one of their competitors for a synthetic oil change (they charged $55 and $5 off my next one). What makes this place unique though is that it's kind of like a drive-through oil change shop. You don't even get out of your car! This makes the service extremely transparent because they have cameras on the mechanics so you can see exactly what they were doing. I had to also get my transmission fluid changed, and they walked me through everything just to make sure I was informed about what they were doing to my car. This kind of service is unheard of anymore these days! Would definitely go back to them. read more

No stars. I was a 20 year customer of the previous owners. New owner said his name was Joe. I'm an elderly woman. He told me my antifreeze was only good to plus 10 degrees. But, he did not show me the apparatus he used, as was customary by the previous ownwers. He said I needed an $80.00 radiator flush. My car had a flush three years ago so I left and went to another lube place for a second opinion. They showed me the apparatus where it looked like all the balls were floating and said my antifreeze was clean and good to minus 34 degrees. Now, I'll let you be the judge on whether you think JR's new owners are reputable. read more

Asked and paid for deluxe full service. They changed oil,checked tire pressure,and oiled door henges. They than told me the total I owed. I had to ask them to check the air filter. Upon inspection I had it replaced. They again closed the hood. I had to ask them why they didn't fill my windshield washer fluid? Opened hood again they than filled it. Believe it or not they closed the hood again and still didn't offer to check trans fluid. I just told em don't bother I will never be back. I guess I should add that these are fairly new owners. Haven't learned the business in two plus years. Sure do miss the previous owners Bill and Brad. read more
