Being a woman, I'm always reluctant taking my car in to get anything done - even a quick oil change. In my experience, there are almost always high pressure, hard sales pitches and, of course, everyone on the other end of things is a sales guy in my eyes and they usually assume I know nothing about cars (I don't really..). This automatically makes me not trust any answers to my questions about services needed. I always feel the need to postpone any expensive services for a second opinion or a confident google search to confirm that the recommended services are actually necessary for my vehicle.
Keeping in mind that My car is just a little Hyundai Elantra that I call my dog mobile (I work with dogs), my first experience here was great! Not only did I get out of there in what seemed like 5 mins (I was the only car in there at the time) for a standard oil change but not once was I pressured for an upgrade I didn't need. I was informed that I could use a new air filter and definitely needed a transmission oil change which seems like an easy up-sell to a not so knowledgeable car owner but it really does need a change. That dash light had turned on earlier that day so and they confirmed my suspicion. There was zero pressure from them when I told him I would be back another time soon for that service and he let me know how much it would cost at their location. He included a coupon they had available into the estimate which would bring it down into the $70s. The air filter didn't look real bad other than a few fuzzy seeds of some kind which I will hand pick off myself and replace myself sometime in the future.
I'm over all very happy with my recent services and I hope all future services can keep up with my high expectations! read more
