I was torn between this place and a few others, but went here because they had some coupons available. Mind you, I've never been to a Firestone before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. For starters, they open at 7AM. Others (Belle Tire) open at 8 AM, and don't even bother showing up to a dealership like this without an appointment. I dealt with Michelle and she was 100% awesome! She guided me through the whole process and even took an additional bit more off the top since she knew Pep Boys was matching and beating some of their prices for brakes. I was able to watch the mechanic work on my car for the two and a half hours I was there. Michelle even showed me how worn out my brake pads were, and what new ones should look like. This really made me feel better since a large purchase like this can be stressful and expensive. Overall I was impressed with a few different things while stopping in here. First, the prices are competitive for auto care. Secondly I didn't feel upsold on anything, or "scared" into a purchase I may not have needed. I found the whole experience to be pleasant, and honest. Mostly honest! That's all I ask for. Firestone charged $765 for 4 new brakes and rotors. If I had gone to the dealership for the same services, they would have charged me $930, and the service tech was mean to me and hurt my feelings. Firestone did not hurt my feelings and got the job done. Thank you Firestone for making it less expensive and frustrating!

The bad: Getting only my rear brakes done at All Around Auto was more than twice as much as getting BOTH my front and rear brakes done at our usual shop, A&A Auto, although that was two years ago. So it basically cost about 4 times as much. Sure, inflation has been rough, but not by that much. They were upfront with what it would cost, but there was nothing I could do if I wanted to get my brakes in working order for our trip. I notified Groupon and they refunded. So I was impressed with Valvoline's honesty upfront and their courtesy I agreed to an oil change using the proper oil. They began to go over my vehicle and discovered the oil filter I provided from Autozone was incorrect. Sure enough, it didn't. They offered to call around to locate correct oil filter. I agreed and they found one at a dealer, because vehicle was too new for after market parts. They stopped one of their employees, had him drive over personally and pick it up. Due the inconvenience they offered their waiting room w/ air conditioning. It was awesome. They finished up and I'm on my way. **The manager, Byron, was professional, smart, courteous and found a great solution for my dilemma. He & his team went beyond to ensure I was happy and my problem cleared up. Their location is convenient and very clean. They are more accessible and reasonably priced than an auto dealer's service department, especially the Dodge shysters locally around Conroe. I highly recommend them for your service requirements.

Now looking at all these other bad reviews I'm shocked. Their business manager need not reply to this review, its clear the kind of business they run. Stay away is my advice.
