I had an issue with stem cap that corroded and wouldn't come off. After some research and several…read morehours of attempting to remove it using "conventional" methods, I used an angle grinder to get it off. Well, that was a fail and I damaged the cap to the point where the only solution was to have it replaced. I took my truck into Discount without an appointment and James, the store manager, pleasantly greeted me immediately. He came out to assess the damage and made a joke about how all I needed was some super glue. I love jokes so I appreciated the levity. They replaced the stem and patched a hole created by a screw. The best part was they did it at a true Discount- a 100% Discount. I will never grow "tire"d of service like this.

The other day I was at a local Ford dealership getting some recalls done on my Ford Escape when one…read moreof the service advisors told me I needed rear brake pads. They didn't have time to do them that day but I knew the perfect place to go to. I ended up at Dorian Quick Lane, thanks to a recommendation from my sister. I arrived at approximately 3:15 and I told Katie that I needed my rear brake pads done. She took some of my information and I waited in the large waiting area. The waiting area has free coffee/tea, TV's, counter desk with USB outlets, free gaming arcade with pinball machines and even free WiFi. Katie told me a short while later that I indeed needed rear brake pads and also told me my rear shocks are leaking. I told her to go ahead and get that done too. She said they had to get the parts and told me it will be a few hours until everything was done. Not an issue. I called my Aunt and she picked me up (they do offer a free shuttle service) Less than two hours later I received a phone call that my car was ready for pickup, way earlier than I anticipated! Staff was super friendly and helpful at Quick Lane. The place was very clean and spotless- they're even pet friendly. They service all makes and models. Despite the 30 minute drive from our home, My boyfriend and I will be taking our cars here for future repairs and oil changes.

No problem, time to just go home and figure out the solution. After reading the owner's manual *carefully*, I opted not to use the emergency tire repair kit in the car. When you use those 'fix-a-flat' repair bottles, it will most likely disable the TPMS sensor at that wheel position. Added expense, not needed in my situation. I also discovered that I qualified for free road service as a Ford customer. Whoo-hoo! I waited till Monday morning to call Ford Roadside Assistance. They have a great locator service that allows you to pinpoint your location, based upon your cellphone position. The tow truck arrived shortly after my request. In the meantime, I called Dorian Ford to notify them of my arrival. They took minimal info and said they would look forward to seeing me. Upon my arrival, they took the rest of my pertinent information. I settled into the comfortable waiting area, passing by the snack and refreshment vending machines. While at the write-up counter, I observed the spic-n-span service area. Neat and clean as a whistle! After a reasonable amount of waiting time, I was given my key fob and told my car was all set. There was *no charge*, because apparently they don't charge when the repair only requires a tire plug. I walked outside to the car and discovered they also wash every car upon completion of service work. I really don't know how to express my appreciation more than to say I was well impressed with everything and everyone involved in my plight. This was truly a great experience. ¡Bravo! Great. i figured since I bought the tires there they would repair my flat for free or at least notify me there would be a charge for the flat repair. However I was surprised with a 40 dollar bill upon picking the tire up. Had I known that it wasn't free or reasonably priced I would have repaired it myself. The staff was friendly enough but I'm not sure why I wasn't informed of a charge for service.
