I had an issue with stem cap that corroded and wouldn't come off. After some research and several hours of attempting to remove it using "conventional" methods, I used an angle grinder to get it off. Well, that was a fail and I damaged the cap to the point where the only solution was to have it replaced. I took my truck into Discount without an appointment and James, the store manager, pleasantly greeted me immediately. He came out to assess the damage and made a joke about how all I needed was some super glue. I love jokes so I appreciated the levity. They replaced the stem and patched a hole created by a screw. The best part was they did it at a true Discount- a 100% Discount. I will never grow "tire"d of service like this. read more

Andrew, the store manager, took my concerns about not receiving the best customer service at another location and immediately changed the trajectory of my time as a customer. What I thought was a rim leak or tire issue was really the air valve which they were able to change for free. Andrew took time to explain everything to me before any decisions were made. Now when I need to purchase my full set of tires, Andrew and his team will be getting the sale and continue to maintenance all 6 of the vehicles we own and drive regularly. The four tires were purchased from Jeffrey, the salesperson at Discount Tire. They were purchased on 10-25-2024 for a first time tire replacement. After a day or so, a tire was found leaking and returned to Discount Tire. They told me I would have to replace the aluminum wheel and that they could not fix it. All of this after waiting an hour! The next day I went to Belle Tire with the problem and they fixed it within an hour. It is still good today. read more

second time we were unable to get tire pressure checked and air in tires. pulled up at 0955 and at 1010 called into the store, meanwhile employees were in and out of the store and saw the line up, there was a pick up there when we pulled up. At 1010 I called into the store and asked if the tire check was open today , he stated yes and would have somebody out there now, waited until 1015 no one came out but saw 3 employees running in and out of the store. We have been loyal customers for years and that was due to their customer service, that's gone now and so are we, If you don't want to provide the service then don't, but don't offer it and leave people sitting there because your staff doesn't want to do it. Most people will pay a little more to receive the customer service that was promised. I would avoid this store at all cost, Belle Tire is just down the road as is Sam's Club and Costco. this is the second time this has happened at this store so they have no intention of correcting the problem. read more

I was at this location on Wednesday the 3rd from 10:19am to 1:20pm. The two "managers" I dealt with were James Lake and Brandon Curtis (their cards were in front of the computer they were using).When I arrived I was told between an 1 hour to 1.5 hours "out the door". I stated if it's going to be 2 or more hours I'll make an appointment for another day (tire pressure sensor was bad). I was assured 1-1.5 hours. After 1:45 minutes I asked when my car was going to be serviced. I was told 30 minutes "out the door" (12:15). AT 12:50 now I'm really mad I went to get my refund and leave and James stated they are finally pulling it in at 1:00 and finished at 1:20. Over 3 hours sitting there when I could have made a appointment for another day. It's obviously Discount Tire trains their staff to lie to customers to try and keep them from leaving. I HATE BEING LIED TOO!!!!! So if they tell you 1.5 hours, count on 3 hours!!!!! read more

Kept my car hostage for 5 days until I agreed to 2 new tires. My car was towed to this location and we were told our sensors were bad then tires were bad. Discount Tire said tires were not undriveable. They said the rubber was worn down to the second layer and was not, still had tread. I would not jeopardize my life with bad tires. If I needed tires then so be it but did not. On the 4th day my car was completed within 45 minutes after my husband and I said fine put the new tires on but we want the old tires and sensors put in my car so that I could show tire company what condition my tires were in for having new tires put on July 2023 and only putting maybe 5,000 miles on my car. I called on 5th day to see if my car was done and they said oh yes it was done yesterday and we notified you by text. They did not. I picked up vehicle to find out that the valve stems were bad not the sensors after I asked where the old sensors were? So basically the valve stems were bad, tires and sensors were good. Go figure. I contacted corporate to talk about the unprofessionalism, the miscommunication between employees etc and twice I called corporate, still waiting for call back. All the way from store to corporate was bad. UPDATE: spoke to manager of store and he was not happy that my car sat there for 5 day, there was other issues we addressed and store manager took care of the situation. My lesson is don't just hand out money if you feel that you don't need something, get 2nd opinion. I was not able to get another 2nd opinion due to me not being able to drive it due to not being able to put air in 1 tire. Make sure you stay on top of the situation and that you want proof of what they truly say is needed for your vehicle. Appointments take longer than what they say especially if it's busy, so be prepared to wait. But no one from corporate called and that's a shame. read more

They didn't have the tires I wanted in stock but Adam found a better tire for my needs. He also told me about a rebate I could get. I was in and out in 25 minutes. Service was spectacular. there's nothing like having something done getting in your vehicle and noticing the detail that is irritating which after purchasing two tires, all four tires were not inflated to the proper pressure including the two new tires purchased. The quality of the tires are fine as far as the price that was fine I will say that there was an extra $20 per tire charge. I was not aware of but in their defense I took my vehicle there due to a slow leak and they told me it was unrepairable due to a nail too close to the edge of the tire and I discussed two new tires to put on the front since the car is a front wheel drive and put the front tires on the rear. I had just left an oil change facility that had the tires at 35 pounds and how in the world they take two tires from the front and put them on the rear and they end up at 32 and 33 pounds each what's irritating is I had to get in the line and wait approximately 15 minutes. There were four cars in line for a technician that appears that's his only job and put air in the tires so that they're all equal 35 pounds so this is not my first time at discount tire I won't say it's the last either but little irritant just keep continuing on with many businesses not paying attention to detail or inadequate personnel. They said no problem sat for an hour they come out saying the hole is to big I find that quite bullshit I could've patched it myself . So how do they make money from me is to lie and say they can't patch it without even trying to patch it and say I need a new tire. So what supposed to be a easy patch job turns into a 160$ new tire I definitely feel scammed !!! Probably the best customer service I've received in a very long time. I called not knowing what to do about my tire with a lot of anxiety. Gage answered all my questions with a positive attitude. Most people hurry you off the phone or act like you're an inconvenience. They didn't and I called twice with same questions. I get anxious easily so I needed a peace of mind before going there. Thanks to the CRAP ROADS that my tax dollars "pay" for, I had to get a new tire. Of course, Ford doesn't cover "road damage" under their warranty, so they quoted me $225 for a new tire. Bite me, Dorian Ford. So, I drove into Discount tire, and drove out less than 30 minutes later with a new tire for $50 less! And it's a better tire than the stock tires from Ford. Today I'm rating them a 3. Normally when I schedule appointments my vehicle gets in very quickly and I'm in and out. Today my appt was a 9am and at almost 9:30 my vehicle still is not pulled in. My first negative experience here. Not thrilled at this and I know they are busy, but they usually handle busy well. I have appts today that I'm going to be running late with n UPDATE 3-13-18: had a 1:00 appt and I was about 15 minutes early. I was able to walk right up to the counter get it done. Great service, very friendly; However, their waiting que needs lots of work. The time they quote customers versus the time it actually takes to make repairs is extremely dissimilar. I notified the manager that I would leave and come back to give others a chance to sit down. He gave acknowledgement. I received a text, stating my turn was next; However, when I called 1hour 30 minutes later, I was told there were a "Few" people ahead of me. When I questioned the agent, telling him that I received a text stating I was next over an hour prior, he stated, "I don't know why you received that text". Two weeks ago: The thrill of riding around with 17 year old tires on my Mustang has finally died. I ordered a new set from Discount Tire. Of course, they had to order them, but BFGoodrich Radial T/As are the way to go for me! Today: Woohoo!! New meats!! I had the new tires mounted this morning. The 1st thing I noticed was that when the rear tires break loose, the car now goes straight as an arrow in both 1st and 2nd gears. With the old tires, the rear end would always drift to the right. And even though Discount Tire offers tire siping service, the T/As have sufficient siping to avoid adding extra sipes. I love my new tires! Maybe I'll even keep the car ..... Went for passenger rear tire. Was low and asked them to look at and rotate tires also on Jan 10th. Dropped off and 2 hours later said it was ready to be picked up. Today Jan 11 I had to go back for the same tire so they obviously never patched or rotated. No apology. Lady came in and they never put sensors back on her car. This is the worst discount tire on the planet. The manager is a con artist crock. I took four vehicles this morning to put my summer tires on and he refused to put two tires on my Range Rover because he claims they are at a minimum but they are still safe. He goes in the office to get me a price on the two tires and comes out and says I need to purchase four tires because if he only changes two I can ruin my transmission. What kind of joke is this guy. Meanwhile the other 2 tires are perfectly fine and the 2 he wants to change are still safe but at a minimum.
