Extremely unprofessional experience. I called in response to an inquiry Rick had submitted for business help. He answered the call and immediately said he was "in the middle of shit" and asked me to wait. A minute later, someone else came on the line and said Rick was dealing with constipation and it would take a while. I clarified this was a scheduled business call and asked if he was still interested--he then put me on hold again with no response. This level of disrespect, especially after he requested the call, is completely unacceptable. The system here needs to change. I come in on a Friday and they tell me it's going to be a 3 hour wait. I ask if they do appointments and she said it's first come first serve. People have lives, they cannot just wait around at a tire shop all day. Then they had a problem with my tire lock and this has never happened at any other tire place on my car. Then it takes 15 minutes for them to review my check then they say that cannot accept it. What was all that for then? The cherry on top was that when I got into my car it said low tire pressure... that's the whole reason I got new tires. Seriously needs updating in every way possible. read more

I hate doing this but just had a horrible experience here. I would never go back to this place nor would I recommend it. i specifically asked them to check and make sure my rim was fine for a tire. they sold me a used tire and the mechanic told me that the rim is fine and I'll be just fine. 3 days later and very little driving my tire is flat. they wouldn't do anything about it and said it's my fault cuz the rim is bad. horrible business especially over $79. The lady at the front said she would never tell me my rim is bad... which she never did nor did she say it was good. the mechanic told me its fine and they even added more sealant to the area that had popped or blown out. long story short they sold me a crap tire that didn't last 4 days. I would never go to this business if I was you. I don't know much about cars so I trust them to give me a good answer. I scratched the heck out of my wheel rim and thought I might need to buy a new one. My worst fear was a several hundred dollar bill. Instead, they were able to fix and smoothen the rim perfectly! My friends and family all refer to this place, not as USA Tire, but Dan The Tire Man. :-) The only downside is he only does tires. I wish he did more, because I would trust him with anything about my vehicles. Dan and his staff always give you a fair price. You don't like you are getting ripped off or dealing with a sleazy salesman. Dan's main goal is to give you the best deal possible and treat you the way you want to & should be treated. He won't talk you into anything you don't want or need. If you talk to customers in the showroom, they are almost all return customers and have been going there for a long, long time. I went here based on a referral from a family member. Great suggestion! I was looking for used tires, so I called a couple of days before my visit to make sure they had some in stock. I was in luck! When I walked in, I was helped immediately and was questioned about my budget, my vehicle and the quality/tire life for which I was looking. Within 10 minutes I was told that they had located a great set - and for a VERY reasonable price (about 50% of retail for new ones). I told them to go ahead with the work. While I was waiting, I kept myself busy looking around the shop. There is an amazing collection of cool automotive antiques, including a very impressive (read: large) collection of vintage gas pumps. Once I was done looking around, I sat down and was joined by a couple of the 1/2 dozen min pins that were running around. So cute! Excellent and quick service, excellent selection, good company. I am writing this as someone who is concerned about the ethics of this business. I had gone and purchased a used tire from them in September 2020. As a 17-year-old, who pays for their own car, I trusted them not to take advantage of my age and being a young woman. Yesterday I noticed the tire I was told by Firestone, the tire I had received from them was 9 years old and was dry rotted. When contacting them this morning to see if there was anything, they would be willing to do, Dan was extremely short with me and telling me there was nothing he would do. Further going on the talk about classic cars and how they can have 80-year-old tires, forgetting those tires have a different upkeep to them. I was told that even if my tire had blown driving off their lot there was nothing they would do. When first purchasing my tire, I was not given any information about the storage or age of the tire, which should always be giving before install. I am sad to say that I will no longer be supporting or referring anyone to their company. read more

I honestly didn't have anything done here. And that is exactly why they are getting 5 stars! I have been having issues with my tires since moving from Florida where it keeps saying the tire pressure is off. I have gone to numerous places where they said I have "summer tires" and will need to replace them, they put in some air and send me on my way. One day I was over the tire pressure issue, so I yelped and came across USA tires. Not only is the place super neat inside, but the owner (Im assuming he is the owner, could be the manager) helped me right away. I explained my situation and he said he would take the car to the back and let me know. Not even 20 minutes passed and my car is back out front. He told me nothing was wrong with my tires, and I asked how come everyone else was trying to get me to buy new tires and he said they were trying to make money. He explained that because of the roads in Michigan and the weather you actually had to put more air in the tires, which is what they did. He handed me the keys, smiled, and said have a nice day. Look being a female that doesn't know too much about cars, finding an honest car place is HARD to find. I don't know anything about prices but if you want a place where the people will not lie to you about what your car needs then this is the place to go! read more

Be cautious. The owner is not honest and doesn't value you as a customer. It's about the money. Buyer beware. He installed two front tires on backwards and told me that it was not his fault. It was my daughter's car and when she drove it back to school and it vibrated like crazy and unsafe, the tire place that she emergent took it to said the tires were installed backwards. They charged her to flip them correctly. I asked Dan the owner if he would reimburse us for the cost and he did everything possible to say it wasn't his fault. Driving down to Sterling Heights from 4 hours north, the light comes on to tell me there is low pressure in one of the tires on the car. Stopped at a gas station for air and noticed a screw in the side of the tire. Luckily, I was only about 45 minutes from my destination. Over inflated the tire and headed to USA Tire. Awesome guy, awesome place/museum and $20 repair done in no time. Next time I need tires on one of my vehicles, I think I may just drive down to Utica for them! read more

So you need new tires, a flat fixed, or a professional opinion on racing tires. This would be the place I call first for all the above. This is a family owned business which has been in Utica for over 30 years. You work with the people there to find the best solution for your situation and you will just want to support this business. You're not treated as a purchase order like the big retail places. I would not recommend any other tire shop to my family or friends. I sat and waited for my new tires to be put on my vehicle for about an hour. I enjoyed the museum of classic memorabilia and motorcycles. If that sounds boring to you then you can pet the doggies in the window. Also as a word of advice, probably don't bring your kids if you need to wait for 4 new tires. This place is GARBAGE and the people who work here are EXTREMELY RUDE. All I wanted was a quote for some used tires. I called and was told I would be called back the next day, never was. Called the next morning asked again for a quote, was told again I'll be called back shortly. After waiting an hour I called again to see about the quote and the main guy began to yell at me saying how his employees didnt show up and how he has to do it all himself. Then without even helping me he basically told me to fuck off and hung up on me. I would not recommend this place if your looking for a comprehensive tire service. I went there to get new tires and I specifically told them that one of the tires have a slow leak when I got the truck back the same tire had a slow leak I had to get there first thing in the morning to avoid having to leave it there all day (no appointments even for warranty work) turns out the small rubber O ring on the valve stem needed to be replaced they charged me 25 for a repair. You would think that if they are replacing the tires they would replace the valve stem O ring a 10 cent part or at least ask if you would want them replaced. Also while trying to get the low tire pressure warning light re-set he told me the batteries go bad after 10 years or so my sons truck is a 2007 so why wouldn't they ask me if I wanted to replace the batteries while the tires were off ? luckily they are good just needed to drive it awhile after the repair. They seem as if they might have been doing this to long (the guy reminded me several times how long he has been doing tires as if that made him all knowing and I should be impressed) and lost there customer service. read more

My family and I are really disgusted with the car trailering service we had. The people we dealt with were very kind, however they did not treat our car with respect. They trailered my deceased grandfather's BMW from Florida to Michigan. When we left it at the airport it was in prime condition, it was not that way when we picked it up. It had scratches on both sides and the convertible top looked like it had been worn down and has two puncture marks. The car has not been in our possession long and it had been in a garage since we bought it last year because my grandpa passed less than a month after buying it. The "marks" they left on the sheet had to have been made after it was returned because we have picture proof from purchasing the car that it was perfectly fine. Therefore, the roof at the least was damaged at some point during transport. My mother took the car to a BMW dealership in Naples, FL and they said the car was in prime condition and was the best looking one they've ever seen. I'm sure they run a very nice business, however, this has deterred us. The people we've dealt with are very kind, the woman was always keeping in contact with my mother and was very kind in dealing with all of this, too. read more

I do not recommended this place at all. I went in with my dad and boyfriend and waited 20 minutes before anyone spoke to us. My dad is also disabled and cannot stand for long periods of time. A guy finally came out from the back and was rude from the start. My boyfriend finally spoke to him and he said there was five more people in front of us. He then started to talk to the guy behind us and blew us off. My dad asked if we could drop it off and come back but he started getting loud and cussing. We tried leaving and he continued to yell. I took this same tire to Dan who told me my tire just had a nail in it and he could fix it without having me spend a fortune for a new tire.
