I'm out of state and needed to have a vehicle we wanted to buy inspected by someone who would really be looking out for us as to whether this is a vehicle they would recommend to a friend or family member. I did a lot of research about Nash before choosing them to do a complete pre-purchase inspection of a used Lexus. While the BBB'S "A+" rating is a good thing, I know from experience that there are many "A+" businesses that have had complaints filed with the BBB. What impressed me is that the business has been on file with the BBB for many years and that there have been NO COMPLAINTS on record against Nash's Auto. This, plus very favorable reviews here on Yelp and on Google led me to choose this company. While other shops could not get us in right away for the prepurchase inspection, Kyle had us in and out the next morning. The evaluation was very comprehensive in the inspection. I was impressed with how thorough they were in checking over everything needed to convince us that the car was truely as good as we hoped it was. I would recommend Nash's Auto based on this experience and would gladly use them again when there is the opportunity to do so. read more

It is rare that I leave a review, but both Devon and Kyle truly deserve this one. I brought my GMC Denali pickup in for a misfire and they told me it was a dead injector, which they replaced. After the work was done there was still a misfire, and Devon took the time to figure it out and called me in to show me a damaged lifter and cam. They were extremely thorough and fair. On top of that, Devon took pictures during the work to show me how clean and neat everything was. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants quality work done. read more

Another mechanic told me my oil leak was due to the separator, which would have cost $1600 and taken 11 hours to fix. I went to Nash's for a second opinion, and they diagnosed the oil pressure switch as the real issue. They fixed it the same day for $270 and even ran my engine afterward to make sure there were no more leaks. I was so impressed and relieved. I also loved the inspection report they texted me with pictures and details. I will be going to Nash's for all my auto needs. read more

I have various work done on my 2015 Mazda 3 and they do top rated service with reasonable prices. They backup/stand behind their work. I wished they did wheel alignments. But Belle Tire does good alignments so it's not the end of the world that they don't do that job but it's an inconvenience to have to go somewhere else for alignments that's all. I haven't had oil changes done at Nash's yet but I am going there for my next oil change. read more

i found this shop based on reviews. They did not disappoint! Had brakes done. Bought tires. All services were fantastic! Finally, I needed an inner tube replaced on a golf cart tire. They said the would give it a try. It was done within an hour. I really appreciate the work they have done Great service! I think pricing was more than fair! read more

Took my vehicle in for repair of the door handle, Kyle was very friendly. The part was ordered and once received the repair took less than an hour. read more

Quality work, great communication and one schedule. They use quality parts that may cost a bit more, but only up front as they are bound to last longer. The AC repair worked out well. read more

These guys are great! They can fix almost anything. We've been customers for a while. We find them to be honest and fair priced. They work with you the best they can. This is the place to go for your car troubles! read more

I've been coming here for about four years with my Jeep Liberty. They just replaced my struts and installed 4 new tires. I can't recommend this place enough. The do a great job diagnosing issues and getting the job done at a good price. read more

I have been having a problem with my heating system since since last year . I read on line some remedies to fix the problem. I decided that a good flush of my cars radiator and heater core would solve the problem. I went to Nash and saw Kyle ( who is the owner ) I told him what I wanted and he suggested that they diagnosed the problem first . Being stubborn as I am ,I hesitated but agreed. Luckily l listen to Kyle , he or one of his fine mechanics fixed the problem, without changing the anti freeze or flushing the heating system. Saved money listening to Kyle's advice. Very happy and toasty. read more

Excellent choice for auto repair! Courteous and informative staff! *Found Nash's from reading reviews online. Hoped they were as good as the reviews stated...and they were! Thankfully. I was treated very well, informed throughout the entire process and my repair was handled in a timely manner. I will most definitely be taking my vehicle there again! Thanks guys!! You were great! read more

I've been looking for years for an honest mechanic. At Nash's they've gone so far as to charge me less than the quote because they said they didn't need a part when they could have charged the full amount without my knowledge. They are courteous professionals who do great work in a timely manor. read more

Finally an auto repair place that we can trust. Fair prices, quick repairs, they don't do unnecessary fixes. The last 2 repairs were done faster then estimated. All 3 mechanics that I met were straight forward read more

Great service. My son broke down in Utica and Nash's auto handled everything. Pricing was great and service was outstanding.

I have had the same great experience as the other reviewers. Had a shop with ASE techs tell me I needed a new alternator...... I wasn't so sure about that diagnosis so I took it to Nash's for a second opinion. It was a loose wire..... saved me a couple hundred dollars. That was more than a year ago and no issues so they were correct. read more

It's me again! A few montgs ago the shop owner contacted me directly and was very apologetic, polite, understanding. We spoke about my experience & he remained very professional. I was impressed that he reached out and eliminated my worry. I will definitely return as they are a reputable business who clearly values their clientele. read more

I have been using Nash's for all my auto repairs since they opened. Always excellent service and fair prices. One of the first mechanics I trust completely. I have recommended them to family and friends and all have become regular customers. read more

Let me begin with the good: Nash quoted us a price on a new starter but found that the problem was actually loose wiring. Now, I'm not aware of exactly how much work the repair involved, and depending on that, a revised quote of half the original may or may not have been appropriate. We were happy, however, that they adjusted the amount rather than do an unnecessary replacement. Brownie points. On the other hand, however, the car had a dead battery when we went to pick it up. The techs suggested that they may have left the lights on, jumped it, and sent it home without apology. The battery was dead again the next time we attempted to drive it; back to Nash, where a relay was replaced (more $$), and upon our insistence, it stayed at the shop for three days so they could make sure it didn't drain again. We received a call that the problem was solved, but when we picked it up, it again required a jump start (they insisted that it was fine five hours before, but said they might have left a door ajar). I'm not blaming them for the problem; this car is old and has known electrical issues, so the faulty starter wiring may or may not have precipitated the problem. But their attitude--insisting that the problem had been solved and just shrugging their shoulders as I shelled out for a repair that clearly didn't do any good--was simply unprofessional, dishonest, and ...well... their excuses about lights and doors didn't make them look very bright and inspire my confidence. We won't be going back. read more

First time going here. I think it is run by 2 guys that are both nice and seem to be trustworthy. Went for an oil change and also asked for a referral if they new a good body shop (my back bumper had popped out on one side from running over something). I showed him my bumper but unfortunately he didn't have anybody to refer that he trusted. After they were done with the oil change I picked up my car and they gave me a breakdown of what they did. When I got back to my office I noticed that my back bumper was fixed. He must have pushed it back in and tightened the bolts. I couldn't believe it! It was a different guy that checked me out so I am assuming that is why I wasn't made aware that he just fixed it for free. They are mechanic's and not a body shop but this goes to show the character of these guys. The best experience I have ever had after having any work done on my car. read more

Great place to take your vehicle. Guys are friendly and very helpful. They things done and done right.....I have been taking my car and many others there for years and they always get me in and out in a timely fashion. Very reasonable on pricing and never had to come back for the same issue cuz its done right the first time!!! Thank you Kyle, Ryan and Devon for all you do for me and my ladies :) read more

Looking for fare pricing with honesty on repairs... this is the place!! As a woman, they have never made me or my daughter feel stupid for not knowing certain things about cars. They actually take the time to explain exactly what they find and what they need to do to fix the problem. Example of their honesty: Had Ford Service tell me I needed a new transmission and took it here to get a 2nd option and glad we did. It was a recall missed by Ford's system and bad service for lying to us which we will never go to again for service. It was a fix that was A LOT less than Ford's new transmission. Shame on Ford Service! Great Mechanics at Nash's Auto Service!! Thank you guys for all that you do! :) read more

We got a quote from Belle Tire for $1350. I asked Kyle to look at the quote and diagnose the vehicle. He got it repaired and running smooth for only $450 and it was done in less than a day. This is the second time I've had service there and both times I was impressed. read more

I am 66 years old and have been doing much of my own auto repair for 45 years. I will use a shop when I can't diagnose the problem, don't have the right tools or need a lift for the job, or it is just too complicated and time consuming. I own five cars now; the newest is 2002, and the oldest ones are 1988 and 1989. A few are approaching 200,000 miles. I started using Nash's about 10 years ago and have found them to be great mechanics. They can diagnose the problem right the first time, and will do repairs for a fair price. I can talk to the mechanics about the problem, and they will talk shop with me. I have been impressed with their ability to diagnose some tricky problems. They have done work for me on engine gaskets, fuel systems, suspensions, heating and air conditioning, and I have been completely satisfied. This is a car guy you are trying to satisfy that is writing this. I can tell quality work, and these guys do it. I even have them do my oil changes and tire rotation, because they will always check brakes and suspension and performance and tell me about any problems that I don't know about yet. They are very courteous, and sometimes provide a drop off service when I leave my car for a longer time. I recommend them to anyone I meet that needs any automotive work. I trust their work and trust my cars that they work on for my wife and daughters to drive. As long as these guys are in business, I won't take my cars anywhere else for maintenance or repairs. They don't smile much , but don't let that worry you; they are very serious about their workmanship and satisfying their customers. read more

I just started to bring my truck for service there last fall. Glad I found them. Honest and fair prices. Brought my Dakota in there last week to fix my power steering leak Kyle was able to diagnose the problem within minutes and corrected the problem hour later. Kyle was also able to check everything on my truck and break down what critical areas should be fixed today and what could be fixed later down the road. My fabric roof liner was sagging a bit by my driver's side and it was starting to bug me, however I never fixed it because I was unsure what I should use to repair it. I never mentioned it to Kyle upon my visit and when I was cashing out Kyle said he fixed it and it was NO CHARGE. He said it was bugging him, heck it bugged me for months. BIG THANKS. Folks -instead of going to those big tire places on Hall Rd for service give them a try you will get honest advice and the service will be cheaper. read more
