If I could give more than 5 stars I would. These guys are the best. Took my van in to Midas because it was making loud strange noises when lifting foot off brake, rough to accelerate and stalling. They told me they fixed it after charging me a little over $1,000 and soon after the van stalled out yet again. When I took it back to them, towed it in, all they could say was it wasn't happening and seemed fine. I told them I had video of it making that awful noise and all the guy could say was, "..you can show me all the videos you want, unless it's doing that when I have it, ..". I brought it in to masonic auto for a second opinion to Masonic auto and not only did they fix it, they test drove it too to make sure it was running well before sending be back out on the road with it. it runs so smooth and doesn't make awful noises and did not stall. Went there for a replacement of seat warmer module. They had to tear seat apart to accomplish. They did a wonderful job for a fair price.

My beloved 2007 Prius was totaled a couple weeks ago. (I'm OK, just a little stiff.) I wanted to get a replacement and narrowed it down to two, 2010 Priuses from two different dealers. Both cars had about the same mileage. The first car had more equipment on it (I don't think the dealer realized what they had on the lot) and appeared to be the far better deal. I took the car to Bill and Steve. Steve pointed out evidence of serious undercarriage damage; a bunch of dented-up stuff and lots of yellow paint on the bottom of the car, like someone had driven it over a parking lot bumper. He also showed me evidence of current or past leakage from the head gasket. He also showed the same stuff to the salesman, then told me as I was standing next to the salesman, "don't buy this car." I didn't. The second vehicle wasn't as well-equipped but was in much better condition. Steve told me that he could find no reason for me not to buy the vehicle. I finished the deal that afternoon. I will only take my vehicles to Steve and Bill unless they are under dealership warranty. I have been bringing my vehicles for 20 ish years to them. They are honest, trustworthy and reasonably priced...and funny! One story ... my daughter's old little yellow truck's speedometer was working intermittingly, and they said until it breaks for good, they can't diagnose it properly. They would just be wasting my money. She was using her gps to tell her speed so she was safe btw. Well, it started working again for a few months, but then it stopped when she was at her dad's. He took it to a different shop grrrrr, and they "fixed it" to the tune of $300 bucks!!! Well, guess what? Bill was right! It stopped working again but after the other shop's warranty! Steve and Bill do a great job! I wouldn't trust my 2007 F150 to anyone else. Every time I bring in my truck they give it a full evaluation and communicate clearly what needs to be done, as well as things I should be aware of. The quotes on work I am given are comparable to what the bill ends up being. I know Bill put in extra special effort to replace the original spark plugs in my V8...and anyone who knows about the F150's from that era know how precarious that job is! This is my first review, ever. I am quite opinionated and have high expectations but have never taken the time to write a review of anywhere... until now-the service here forced my hand. Steve was amazing. Honest and forthcoming and so helpful. We had just come from a service appointment at a dealership who told us our 08 Escalade was vibrating because we had a leaky valve. We decided to get a second opinion after paying the dealer $80 for a diagnostic. This shop came highly recommended by a coworker of my husbands so we decided to try it. Steve got our truck in right away and found a broken ,beyond repair ,drive shaft that resulted in him not even allowing us to drive it away until it was fixed or towed as that is how severely damaged and dangerous it was. THE DEALER SERVICE DEPARTMENT MISSED THIS COMPLETELY! He had it fixed in a few short days at a completely reasonable price. I won't ever go anywhere else as long as we have cars that need service! They charged me $300 to put a starter in my car and then said they spent more time on my car then I was charged for! I had an old 1996 which was my lifeline! I believe they saw me coming..very easy to make money off of an old car!..after they fixed it Steve proceeded to tell me that I need to immediately get rid of this car because it was going to break down! Why didn't he tell me this before he charge me $300 to put a starter in? How these people sleep at night I don't understand it but I do know what goes around comes around and one day in some form it will come back on them! shame on these people taking advantage of the less fortunate! read more
