Beyond the oil change, he gave me a printout of the recommended services for my car (the dealer never gave me anything like that). He checked both the air filters, which were Absolutely Filthy!!! I don't think it's too much to expect a used car to at least have new air filters. Also, when I bought the car and took it on the open road for a 10 hour drive, I discovered that neither the cruise control nor the car charger worked! So, I asked Herald if he thought the charger might just be a fuse. He checked and it was. He fixed it in two minutes or less. I'm not even sure he charged me for that. He was so clearly fully cognizant about all things mechanical, and he emanated trustworthiness like crazy. I usually go to this location anyway, but after yesterday's experience, I'll never go anywhere else.

When I informed the guy of my experience he apologized and offered me $10 off and explained that he had forgotten that I was out there waiting in the cold. I hope karma for all of them.

I have a large camper van that's over 8 feet tall and over 8700 pounds, so it's not easy to find an…read moreauto repair shop to service it (even though it's basically a Dodge b3500 Van that dodge has been making for over 2 decades) Bill(manager) did some research and decided that he would take on my van for a starter RR. It was dropped off at 7:30am and was pleasantly surprised by a 11:30 pick-up call. Bill's quote for a starter RR was about $450, being a very good price as it would have been several hundred dollars more from a RV center and would be several weeks before they could get to it. The kicker being that it didn't need a starter after all, it was just a wire from starter to relay that need to be replaced, saving me hundreds of dollars more. Thanks, Bill, for your honesty and getting me on the road again.
