My wife and I live both in the US and Canada, so we have a lot of experience in both Detroit metro and Windsor. In the past, we have NEVER had any work done on our cars in Canada, because most of the shops are nothing but a bunch of crooks. I would include in this list Canadian Tire, which has (like most other things) a nice little monopoly...and charge like gangsters. UNTIL NOW!!! We just had some work done at Demarios and were THRILLED by the service and the price. John, the owner, was very professional from the first minute (I met him via YELP) and was absolutely true to his word. We have FINALLY FOUND an auto repair place in Windsor that we trust!!! This shop pasted a safety of a vehicle I bought. When I called they said they'd call back once they talked to all parties. They never did. I called back few days later. Apparently management changed, the tech who signed off on the safety was no longer there. They denied everything they had told me the first day. They told me this guy that sold me the vehicle brings in at least two vehicles a month for safety. When I called the second time they mistakened me for different vehicle for the same issue, a supposed passed safety. Clearly something is going on in this shop. I wouldn't trust buying another vehicle that was safetied by this shop. read more

This shop is a scam. Do not take your car here. I took my car in for a safety and was advised my car failed due to needing brakes and rotors all the way around. I let them know the fronts had already been done, they told me they still fail. Yes the backs needed it. My car has expensive front rotors and pads....as it has 6 piston brembo brakes. after having the reception talk to the mechanic multiple times during our talk they insisted it failed. Went in for an in person inspection and then the Owner/mechanic said the receptionist was wrong...poor girl it was clearly not her doing this. Took my car out of there and went to another shop for the safety....and surprise it passed no problem. Saved myself more than $5000.00. My rating is obviously zero. Last week,on the third year of the anniversary of my husband's passing, I was left stranded when my Jeep would not start. The issue was battery terminals that did not have a good connection and were corroded. Til 3 years ago, my husband fixed everything. I recalled him "wiggling" cables sometimes, if a vehicle would not start. He was "old school", owned many classic cars, of which his 57 chevy was his fav. I opened the hood, and wiggled the cables- and as luck would have it, it started. I went to a nearby auto parts store, and they highly reccomended Demario's Auto Clinic to clean my cables. I took my Jeep there, and in no time, they pulled it in and cleaned the cables for me, and presented me with a very reasonable charge. Well, yesterday, I started my Jeep and a horribly loud and disturbing noise came from under it. I immediately remembered Demario's, and messaged them, to get an appointment. Even though it was Thanksgiving Monday, the owner John Demarios, told me to bring it around. I cannot tell you, how comforting that was. Not only did this shop diagnose the issue, they FIXED IT ON A THANKSGIVING MONDAY! This shop, and their employees, were prompt and professional and courteous, and certainly very knowledgeable. Echoing my Cecil, when I could "hear" him say, "it's hard to find an honest and reliable mechanic shop", if you are looking to have a vehicle fixed- 100% reccommend this awesome shop! I was very impressed with their honesty and quality of work, I purchased the wrong part, but said they could fix it anyway. I was quoted $260 labor plus $190 for the part at another garage. These guys did it all for $112.00 including tax. It is very tough to find an honest mechanic, I'm new to Windsor and I found one. I highly recommend this group!! read more

Had an issue with the car and was really hesitant to go get it checked out at a shop for a while. Bringing to the shop can get stressful especially when they upsell you for their profit and pull stuff out of nowhere. However, Demario's Auto Repair clinic was the best decision made as now the car can drive on the highway 70km/h + safely. Staff are very nice as it is a family owned business with very experienced mechanics. Its as if I just went to a family member's garage to get it fixed. They are very honest and concerned about your safety more than anything. When inspected they let you look at the problem under the hood or car itself, up on the lift, and you can see for yourself. You are then given a list on a piece of paper for parts cost and quantity plus labour and expected time so the stats are in front of you and you get an idea for every dollar spent. You can definetly count on them to fix exactly what you need fixing at the moment. Will for sure make this the go-to family doctor type clinic for the car.
