Appreciate the multiple seating options for waiting customers, especially the large window looking into the service bays. Spoke to the mgr while waiting and wanted to have him do specific services on my truck, m4 and s2000 which he reported they could do all that. Very knowledgeable and customer friendly. I bring my vehicle to you, entrusting that you, the professional will fix and repair my vehicle so that I and the others around me are safe. You did not do that today. You put my life and the lives of others in danger when the upper sway bar and link bolt were not tightened. Nut was put on with approximately two threads engaged. And yet I gave you 4,400 dollars of my money that I work for to survive and you could've killed me. What part of this do you think is ok?? Not only did you royally not inspect or review your work..you also never have in the past either. I was there a few weeks ago for an oil change you didnt even tighten the oil filter!! I'm writing because I'm extremely disappointed with what Discount Tire's customer experience has…read morebecome. I have now dealt with three different Discount Tire locations and received three different prices. That is unacceptable. A customer should not have to drive from store to store within the same company to figure out what the actual price is going to be. Even more frustrating is the constant upselling. It has reached the point where every visit feels less like receiving professional tire advice and more like a sales negotiation. When different locations are quoting different prices while simultaneously trying to sell additional products or services, it seriously undermines my trust in the company. I've chosen Discount Tire in the past because I believed I could expect fair pricing, transparency, and consistency regardless of which location I visited. My recent experiences have shown me otherwise. At this point, Discount Tire has lost my business. I'll be purchasing my tires through Costco going forward, where I have more confidence in receiving straightforward pricing without feeling like I need to negotiate or question every recommendation. I'm not writing this simply to complain or ask for a discount. I'm writing because I think your corporate leadership should know why a previously willing customer is choosing to take his business elsewhere. If Discount Tire wants to retain customers, pricing and recommendations need to feel consistent and trustworthy across locations. Customers should not walk away wondering whether they would have paid a completely different price simply by driving to another Discount Tire a few miles away.

That answer would have been fine had he not used that tone--as I was prepared to purchase the part from him and return the other one. Ultimately, based on that interaction, I didn't even go into scheduling my other vehicle for an air conditioning repair. So, maybe Kelly automotive reviews are good from their actual automotive work, which by the way, I have taken my car there before for a water pump replacement, but going forward, I will go to a shop that is respectful to their customers and at least listens to the entire request.
