Breakfast menu
Leesa T.

Peoples organic is quick and easy. I had about two hours to kill and did just that. I ate a Northern California wrap and chilled out. The wrap is pretty big and sever with a side salad unless you request sweet potato fries. Fries cost more. There's a carry out side to the restaurant for the grab and go customer. And, a dine in area for the passenger like me. I enjoyed the meal and the opportunity to chill before my flight. Peoples Organic serves a hearty breakfast and healthy menu mixed with a side of chill.

Really Greek Bowl w/ Chicken

We had time to kill in the Minnesota airport && decided to get a small bite at this place! I was surprised at how busy they were, but yet again I don't usually fly at 12pm. It was quite decent. They had pretty healthy options to choose from. We went for a Really Greek Salad with quinoa tabouli, chickpeas && added chicken. The dressing was lemon oregano dressing & it was good. We also got the Free Range Chicken Wings that had sesame BBQ sauce on them. We opened out of the blue cheese sauce && got the ranch instead. They were also good. The service was par. They were short handed, and let everyone know that. The food came out moderately quickly, considering their short handedness. Overall I would visit again.

Receipt- Didn't realize there was a hospitality charge either so regretting the tip I'd left

I came in and ordered the Grilled Rachel and an iced tea. The table that I sat down at was not wiped. In fact, my server even wiped crumbs off when he took my order. But, he did not bother to come back and wipe the table afterward; he just left me iced tea and a water then walked away. The sandwich and salad came on what I would consider a salad plate. It was a very small portion, especially for the $17 they charge for it. The sandwich is one you could easily make at home (for MUCH less than $17). I asked if my salad had dressing on it, because it appeared that it did not. I was told that it was it was there, and the server consequently touched my lettuce to show me that there was dressing on it. When he saw there was not he asked me if I wanted dressing and came back with some "extra dressing" for me. While service was quick, I was unimpressed and would not recommend anybody stopping here when at the Minneapolis St. Paul airport.

Gluten free lemon bar

During a layover at the airport, I was excited to find People Organic and that they had a gluten free maple glazed and lemon bar! They are not a purchase I'd do again...They are still slightly frozen and cold and unfortunately just not very good. Although I won't finish them, Kudos to People Organic for having a gluten free option and I do hope others enjoy them!

Turkey, bacon, and cheese sandwich.
Natalie P.

I didn't intend on getting a big meal here, I was just looking in the fast options to go and there wasn't much, but the employee working said hello and asked if I needed help with anything so I looked at the hot sandwiches instead and decided to try the Turkey, bacon, and cheese sandwich. It was amazing and I love how friendly he was. He even brought my sandwich to me after I sat down. It was hot and tasted amazing. Was ready within 5 minutes. It was $16, but with how much Turkey and bacon was on it, completely worth it!

Labor Day weekend we were in visiting Minneapolis. My partner is Gluten Free and found a post about…read moreHold The Wheat. We went there for Breakfast one morning, and it was worth the visit. It's a comfortable little store. Parking was a little tricky, but we were able to get a spot on the street in front of the store. If they had been busy, I don't know that we'd been able to find a place close by to park. The interior was casual and welcoming. We walked in and started perusing the displace case. There were a lot of delicious options. We had to discuss who was going to get what so we could try various items. I ended up getting a Caramelized Onion & Gruyere Quiche, she chose the Bacon & Goat Cheese Quiche. Of course, being out of towners we had a lot of questions. The staff was accommodating and answered everything enthusiastically. Even though I am not Gluten Free, I do tend to be a little watch dog like for my partner, only because she has ordered items in the past that we thought were gluten free only to find out they really weren't. They were understanding and assured me that everything was Gluten Free. After ordering we went to their small indoor seating area to try our selections. Overall, the food was fantastic. I can't say anything disparaging about either of the quiches. We had a very intense discussion regarding which one of our quiches was better. Honestly, we ended up trading half way so we could enjoy both. She was pleased with the flavor and the crust of the quiche. For those of us that eat gluten, we know that sometimes gluten free items have a slightly different flavor or texture that, while not bad, just isn't the same. That really was not what I experienced at Hold the Wheat. The flavor was 100% on point with what one would expect. The texture was a little crumblier than gluten full options, but it didn't have that grainy texture. It was fantastic. While ordering in their display I saw a Dill Pickle & Pink Lemonade cup cake. According to the staff it was a novelty they made for the Minnesota State Fair and was popular there. My interest was piqued; thus, I ended up ordering one to take home. I did not need a cupcake in the morning. Before I go further into this, let me just say that I ended up eating it two days after I bought it. So let me just say, it's a novelty. The flavor was unique. I like dill pickles... but apparently, I am not the dill pickle & pink lemonade flavored cupcake fan. I'm not letting this influence my review because of the nature, but it did look appealing. I only mention it because it's a fun item they made for a special occasion and is indicative of their creativity, but it has no impact on this review. Overall, this place was fantastic, if we get back to the area, we will definitely go back. If you are Gluten Free, or in a relationship with someone that is Gluten Free, this place is a must.

They helped us plan the perfect menu of small bites, while taking in our feedback about our guests. Delivery, setup and takedown was perfectly on time and Nicole was a pleasure to talk with and work with! The food from Chowgirls is phenomenal! The whole agency was raving and asking where it was from - we even had a couple of people want to use them for their upcoming celebrations! Some highlights for me included: * The hot chocolate tarte was rich and delicious - and it truly was a hot chocolate flavor! * The apple manchego sandwiches were the perfect blend of fall flavors, and everyone was shocked it wasn't a dry sandwich with all the toppings! It was a crowd favorite. * the steak skewers were perfectly cooked and tender, even served cold! * The mezze platter was delicious and filling, with some unique flavors Overall, I would recommend Chowgirls to anyone and would definitely use them again!

It wasn't all that busy, roughly three staff members in and out behind the bar inclusive of an employee who was working on a sangria mix? Pre made cocktail mix? Not sure but he was putting something together the majority of the time I was in. I digress. It wasn't just myself and guest who experienced the slow service, there was another group at the end of the bar that had to ask multiple times for their tab to multiple employees. On to the food: -I went with the Royale Smash Burger, which was quite tasty and honestly, the seasoning of the burger and the cheese stood so strong on their own I wish I didn't have the tomato and pickles in hindsight. Really great burger! -the side fries were solid and seasoned perfectly! -the onion rings we split was surprisingly the opposite. No real taste to the batter, came out not super hot, and really soggy. The exact opposite of the side fries and honestly, wish we'd skipped on them. Overall, the service kind of killed the experience, the burger was solid, and I'd skip the onion rings. There's some decent spots in Stillwater and this place always seems super busy this was the first chance I had to stop in and... not sure with the other options I'd jump to go back. Perhaps it was just an off service/off afternoon?

For the "west side" of St. Paul (I don't know why it is called that, for it is truly south and not…read moreat all west!), this is a very cool, chic and original concept for a foodie establishment. I went here with my twin sister, her husband, her husbands 2 brothers and one of his brother's fiance who were in town. All are foodies. All wanted to experience a good night out to titillate the tastebuds. For I try to impress upon out of town guests that not everyone in MN is of Scandinavian origin! But I digress... The food is just...awesome! Presentation is completely unique, including flaming drinks, an assortment of vessels for the dishes to accommodate the dish with an interesting flare without compromising ease of consuming or taste. Patatas bravas, tequenos, and rompe colchon were excellent. I mean mouth wateringly amazing. Shrimp in the rompe colchon was cooked PERFECTLY and the balance of the sour leche de tigre and mango made the dish interesting for the palate. Broccolini side dish was also cooked perfectly and the cheese foam gave a unique twist to the side dish. I ordered the bollitos pelones and OH MY GOODNESS. Think huge fried (but not greasy) ball of corn dough (like tamale but grains not so fine) stuffed with braised lamb and swimming in a dark, curry and spiced sauce. It was SOOOO GOOD and nothing like I'd ever had before. I also tried the pasta with rabbit and UMAMI! it was tasty. Also unique flavor that I cannot quite identify and the sauce to meat to pasta ratio was perfect. LOVED this experience and will 10000000% go back!

Crasqui isn't a traditional Venezuelan restaurant--it's a love letter. A tribute to memory,…read moretradition, and the flavors that shaped Chef-Owner Soleil's story. A political refugee from Venezuela, Chef Soleil translates pieces of her upbringing into elevated dishes that feel deeply personal. Each plate draws from the people, places, and moments that formed her, quietly transporting you to Crasqui--the tiny island off Venezuela's coast with sandy beaches and clear blue waters that inspired the name. Our Christmas Eve dinner was special not just for what was on the table, but for how it felt: warm, unhurried service, thoughtful pacing, and an atmosphere that invited you to stay awhile. Our table had the pleasure to indulge in: - Seafood Empanadas: calamari, shrimp, white fish & squid ink. - Rompe Colchón: shrimp ceviche in pineapple-habanero leche de tigre with house-made cassava chips. - Croquetas de Chorizo: potato fritters stuffed with leeks, garlic & chistorra chorizo. - Venezuelan Christmas Dinner: *Hallaca (corn dough filled with pork, beef & chicken wrapped in smoked plantain leaves); *Pernil (slow-cooked pork leg in malta & red wine); *Pan de Jamón (bread with raisins, smoked ham, green olives & cane sugar syrup); *Ensalada de Gallina (chicken salad). - Mochima: Mahi-Mahi stuffed with crab, parmesan & herb crust, sambuca beurre blanc, cilantro oil. Luxurious in texture and deeply satisfying, with each element clearly considered and working in quiet harmony. This dish was memorable for all the right reasons. - Dulce de Lechoza: Green Papaya dessert served with Vanilla Ice Cream. - Christmas Hug: their version of a Holiday old-fashioned. - Mulled Christmas wine What truly sets Crasqui apart: it is the only Venezuelan fine-dining restaurant in Minnesota, one of just three in the U.S., the only Venezuelan rum bar in the Midwest, and proudly 100% Latina & female-owned! Definitely a restaurant worth adding to your dinner rotation!
