The young men who did the moving were fabulous. They were extremely polite and well intentioned. They did everything well. They also listened if I had any concerns. They were efficient and fast but also calm and grounded. (great combo with the stress of moving). They finished far sooner than I expected, again efficient and consentaneous. I do not have expensive things or furniture, but they treated everything as if it was. I would feel very comfortable handing over my precious or expensive items to them. My only regret is my own in not having them move everything I had, I left stuff for me to do afterwards due to me not getting things done in time. My bad. The services included drawing layout options that would show some of our furnishings in the new residence -- which wasn't much! The majority of our home's belongings were organized into items moving with us, donations, possible consignment, landfill, and limited storage. The team members were very positive and upbeat -- "fast" is an understatement and they definitely worked well together. While it's unfortunate that the speed prevented more oversight than my husband or I could give (therefore, losing several items), the job was completed given the timeline we pressed for. Of course, we'd still be in boxes if unpacking wasn't done for us. So relieved that chore was provided as well. And pictures got hung on the wall, too. We can't recommend them enough for a much valued service.

This feels like really bad business and almost unethical. If it weren't more trouble for me to move my things at this very moment, I would, but I have to stick with it for a moment, but as soon as I can vacate I will. People are nice enough and the facility is nice enough, it just feels like a terrible cash grab, and a bait and switch frankly. I spoke with Public Storage "customer service" and the quality of the interaction left a lot to be desired. I just don't understand why every business these days just over-over-over charges all of their customers. I guess because they can? Like I said, doesn't feel ethical to me, but I guess it's their call, and we just have to deal with the consquences. This is my first -- and last -- time renting from Public Storage. Just another company doing everything they can to squeeze their already pressed customers. It's a real shame.
