Great food! Pizza was delicious and so were the gnocchi and gluten free pasta dishes. The service was definitely not was you should expect for a $100 lunch for 3 adults with no alcohol. The ordering app malfunctioned and ordered an extra pizza instead of the gnocchi dish I specifically asked about. When she brought our order and I told her it was incorrect, she gave no apologies, seemed a bit annoyed and asked if I still wanted the dish I had asked for originally. My first experience was an order to go a couple of days after this location opened. The food was good but I don't recall which pasta dish we ordered. I later visited and dined in the restaurant. Just no there is no table service. You place your order at the counter, then when your order is ready your name is called (and you will receive a text message.) The food is served in plates/bowls and silverware is provided. (Beware! The stand where your dish is placed is heated, so be careful.) There are several tables inside as well as outdoor seating. The pasta dishes we ordered were excellent! We had the AMATRICIANA and NONNA PAULA. On our next visit I plan to try a pinsa and possibly lasagna. read more

Food is really good as are the portions. Kind of tight for seating and most of their tables are 6 person high tops unless you sit at kitchen bar. What keeps me from 5 stars is this self service garbage. You have to scan QRL code to get menu and order. Drink refills are self service. When the bill comes expect to see 18-20% gratuity suggested which is ridiculous since the servers dont do anything other than seat you and drop your food off. I really hate that concept because it takes away from a dine in experience. Next time I will just do take out. Finally, they skimp on their sandwiches which really stinks! You had to pay to "add" everything unless you are happy with a single slice of meat on your sandwich. It's really unnecessary, especially when the starting price is like $18. read more

Having heard rave reviews on this restaurant, I decided to try it. My husband and I just returned from Italy a few weeks ago. Missing the great food, we thought this would be a decent replacement. We were wrong. I was initially put off by the paper cups they brought to us, along with a carafe of odd-tasting water. As I've read the other reviews here, I see that PP has evolved to now include the choice of a paper menu, which we accepted. Our server gets an A for personally, but not for service. I didn't time how long we waited for initial service, but it was not under 15 minutes. And another 20 to get our order. They were out of any meatball options for the paninis. We asked a server walking by what the panini was that she delivered to another table. "No idea" she said. "I just started last week". That's not her fault; that's management's fault-she obviously hadn't been trained on their small menu selection. We ate outside; that was pleasant. If you're looking for ambience however,, it's not here. One review said it reminded then of a restaurant in Italy; trust me, that's a huge stretch as it doesn't even come close. I ordered a strawberry margarita that was oddly served in a non-traditional wine glass. The margarita was good. My entree was the Amatriciana; my husband ordered the Panini Porchetto e mayo. The pasta in my order was cooked perfectly; I added chicken. The dish was warm, not hot, making me wonder if the base had been made in advance, adding whatever a customer requested. The tomato sauce was definitely canned. The panini bread tasted homemade, but was burnt around the edges. The flavor was good. The food was ok. My complaint is them trying to come off as a true Italian restaurant-the only way they come across with that is their prices, very high for sub-par Italian fast food. Came here on a Friday night and got a table with no wait. The space was immaculately clean and well maintained. It had a much nicer ambiance than your average fast casual chain. I've seen some people complaining about the QR code ordering but personally I loved it. You want something and you can just enter it in the app and it shows up at your table. The most authentic and amazing Italian food we have had here in the states. After traveling to Italy, it's so hard to find good food that is even a FRACTION of what we experienced in Italy- THIS PLACE TAKES THE CAKE. This food is so authentically Italian. They also have authentic Italian wine- all bottles are so moderately priced! Make sure you get then tiramisu- it's to die for. We have tried pastas, pinsas, and the paninis.. and I seriously can't tell you which one is my favorite. They are all too good. David, one of the managers here is so attentive and kind. Could be a lot better. Went in on a Sunday night. I was underwhelmed based on the reviews. We got 3 pizzas (plain cheese and 2 pepperoni ($20 each), 2 margaritas, breadsticks w/marinara and a tip. The total was $115. I've been to a lot of places with better service and food for a lot less. The pizza was good, but lots of places have good pizza. There are no wait staff, you order via your phone and a QR code on the table. So we tip for someone who gives us water and brings our food out? I did tip, but felt like I should have gotten more service for the tip. No beer. Margaritas are "wine" based. The marinara with the breadsticks was cold. Your mileage may vary. We didn't try any pasta and that may have raised the review, but it would have to be amazing pasta to get another star. Won't go back again. read more

I finally checked out the new Italian place at the Fountains in the Boro, PennePazze. Overall, I really liked it! You order at the counter and then they call you when your food is ready. They make all of their dough and pasta in house. The staff was super attentive and friendly. My husband and I split the pancetta carbonara, which was the pasta of the day, and the honey pepperoni pinsa, and for a drink I tried the vanilla cream soda. Everything was so delicious and flavorful. I want to go back and try everything on the menu ASAP. read more

We walked in and stood around with other people also standing next to us. Finally, someone asked how many are in are group. We had 6. They told us they couldn't give us a time because they had two large reservations coming in. You don't have it anywhere on your website suggesting a reservation. Do not recommend. Firstly, they tell you to grab a table and use a QR code not only for the menu, but you have to order through your phone and give your personal info?? Terrible customer experience - and why? The servers bring out your food and bus the tables still...the only possible savings to the restaurant are to avoid talking with the customers. We were a group of four executives fumbling with our phones trying to figure out how and what to order...it was just stupid. For my meal, I ordered the mushroom pizza - sounded awesome and looked great in the picture. What I got was a greasy mess with way too much cheese and truffle oil, and instead of mushrooms was a runny brown mushroom sauce. I could have eaten most of it with a spoon had I cared to. I took one bite and skipped it...nibbled off of others plates instead. When they came to bus the dishes they asked if I wanted a box. After explaining my dissatisfaction they offered to make another pizza (coworkers all finished eating already). I declined, and she simply apologized and walked away. No offer to take it off the bill or anything. We work in this building complex and eat regularly at these restaurants. This was the first time here for any of us, and I doubt anyone from our entire office will ever eat here again. I went here last night with some friends, and we were literally blown away by how great everything was. The pizzas were nicely sized fresh and delicious. The pasta was homemade soft and tasty when mixed with their miscellaneous sauces. Really really impressed with this place. The big negative is the price. Everything is $20 minimum, which makes it a bit tough to do with a family, etc. Although I just left this amazing review I really don't know when I will return because it's out of budget for a normal night out, or delivery, etc. Definitely give it a try on a special occasion, etc.. read more

The host did not know how to open the bottle of wine. And asked our party to open a couple of different bottles to help out. The food came out in no real order. And it was not hot. Prices were high compared to what we got. Not thinking that this will be a place we visit regularly. When I review a restaurant or venue I always go in thinking "I hope this will be excellent! This is one of the more original restaurants in Murfreesboro! Rarely is it packed & my large family is easily seated, the food is always served quickly and is SO GOOD EVERY SINGLE TIME. If you've haven't been to Italy, this is one of the closest places you'll get (sorry Olive Garden). We had the Nonna Paula, Arugula Salad, and the Sicilian Pinsa. The porchetta on the pinsa...I died. The crust is a little obviously purchased not made fresh, has that crusty outside and fluffy airy center, the sauce it the freshest tomatoes making this the stuff dreams are made of. What I loved most about the Nonna Paula besides that it's fresh pasta is that every bite you can taste all the ingredients, fresh quality ingredients! We have been here for dinner 4 times in 5 weeks. It's that good! My husband is gluten intolerant and can eat the pasta and pizza here without bad effects because the flour they use comes straight from Sicily. The service was amazing and the chef personally checked on our table and gave us some background info regarding the menu and his home country. I did not realize that the restaurant was basically self service. They brought water pitchers and paper cups then told us we could order on our phones or at the counter. They brought silverware in wooden buckets, paper napkins in dispensers and put cups for our drinks on our table. We then had to get it and fill our own drinks. They did deliver the food. The wait staff was not there to answer question and then they had the nerve to ask for a tip. We had to go get our own take away containers. The food was bland and cold! Not a good experience.
