Went there for brunch with a family gathering for my partner's grandmother's 96th birthday, so I'll give the service the benefit of the doubt because a large group is never easy. We tried this place out for the first time a month ago for dinner and just this weekend returned for lunch. Both times we were not impressed by the food or service. It's very nice when you walk in and feels comfortable; dinner was much more busy & loud than lunch which is to be expected. The menu looked great and so we were all looking forward to tasty meals. For dinner, someone got the special of Nashville hot chicken sandwich, a Rachel (Reuben but with turkey), Caprese salad, and a pasta dish. The Rachel was good just really big! The chicken sandwich was awful, considering it was a "special." The chicken wasn't cooked enough and the sauce had a bad taste. The salad was good and the pasta dish. The chicken sandwich caused stomach issues the next day. We decided to give it another shot recently. For lunch, the Caprese was ordered again, Potato skins as an appetizer, Buffalo chicken wrap (mild), and Bacon cheeseburger. The skins were the best, followed again by the salad. The burger was bland and the chicken wrap (with warm lettuce, ick) had poorly cooked chicken, which caused stomach issues the next day, tho we also question the state of the bleu cheese. We had told the waitress that we wanted the appetizer first but it came with all the main dishes so that was awkward and disappointing. Although it's a cool place to watch a game, that's the only reason we would go back, not for the food. We had hoped our second visit would be better, but not so much. read more

Yesterday we had a luncheon after my mom's funeral at Pendleton Creek Pub. Working with Tammie was so easy. She was responsive, knowledgeable, and kind. I truly appreciated her patience as I had a rough week and wasn't thinking straight. The food was fabulous, open bar drinks delicious not watered down. I appreciated the white linen tablecloths. Only thing I would have changed was the dessert. I ordered brownie/cookie tray for 50 and there wasn't enough. Brownies were only bite size and disappeared quickly. Also was a bit warm in restaurant. The air conditioning could have been up more. All in all, it was a wonderful venue which we will patronize in the future. Great job! Thank you staff. read more

Really enjoyed lunch here, first time but hopefully not my last. The place is really big and was decorated so nice for the holidays. Lots of food options (although some entrees are not available until after 4) and on a Friday, there were a lot of fish options. Service was amazing and I'm sure it helped that it was lunch time and also not the best golfing day but the waitress was very good. Ample parking at the golf course club and easily accessible entrance. Very large open space with a nice bar and TV's around the room. Went here for a Friday afternoon meal. Not too busy and we sat in the main dining area and were the only ones in the main dining room. They have multiple large tvs around the rooms. Good variety foe the menu and plenty of local and domestic beers. I started with the Philly cheese steak soup which was pretty tasty. I had the battered fish fry which the batter came out soggy and the fish was so dry it made it difficult to eat. Shame since the waitress says everyone raves about the fish fry. The fries were crispy and the macaroni salad wasn't bad. The server was very friendly and the atmosphere was laid back. I would come back here again but definitely not for the fish fry. Hope others have a better experience with their fish fry. read more

I have been here twice for brunch. The setting is lovely in a warm and woody kind of way. The service is friendly. The menu is varied enough. And while the food is fine (as in edible).... nothing was really all that great. The first time I had French Toast Sticks (off the actual brunch menu) and these were a pretty solid choice. The serving was on the small side (three sticks)... but they were house-made and tasty and served with a few fresh berries and real (!!!) whipped cream. The second time I ordered a Turkey Club from the main menu (both brunch and main menus were brought to the table) with home fries instead of the french fries that are the usual accompaniment. When the sad looking sandwich was brought to the table my first reaction was "this is not a club". It was a plain old flat turkey sandwich served on dried out toast. No height. No nothing special at all. I could have made a better sandwich at home. And, the home fries... mushy and bland and yet slightly burnt. The best part of the meal (both times) was the Mimosa which had a great sparkling wine to orange juice ratio... and at under $5 was fairly priced. I will try this place again (after-all my boyfriend is a member and therefore has a monthly minimum to spend)... but maybe aim for a drink and a snack since the two meals I had were quite underwhelming. read more

I have to sadly downgrade my review to just three stars after the lunch we just had here. I've eaten here a few times for lunch now without issue, so today was surprising. Our server seemed very unsure of himself so we assumed he was new and were going to give him the benefit of the doubt, until he walked up with an assistant waitress he was in the process of training. They were very slow to bring our drinks and then when they finally brought them over they were even slower to take our order so we had to insist they take it the next time they came near our table. After they finally brought out our food, one of the burgers did not appear to be what we ordered so we asked if it was the queso burger we ordered and he didnt answer, brought it back to the kitchen to confirm that what he was handing us was what we ordered (he had no idea apparently what the burger looked like), he finally brought it back and said it was the correct burger. After this, we had to ask for the bleu cheese dressing for the buffalo chicken salad we had ordered that he forgot to include in the order. When he finally came back with the bleu cheese, I realized my greek farro salad didn't have the greek dressing it was supposed to come with either, so I asked his assistant for a side of the dressing. She said sure and then proceeded to help other customers and never came back with my dressing. As I sat backwards in my seat waiting for either the waiter or waitress to come out of the kitchen so I could flag them down for my dressing (while i still couldn't eat the very dry salad given to me and watched everyone else at my table eat for 10 minutes). I finally was able to flag down the waiter to ask yet again for the dressing and he had his assistant bring it over a few minutes later. She did not apologize for forgetting or for the wait and didn't say a single word to me about it....just set the dressing down and walked away. Needless to say the service has really gone downhill here. I am guessing that management is aware of the issue though and is working to correct it so hopefully this will not be an issue going forward. read more

This place is beautiful and spacious with uber high ceilings. Despite the cold outside and the super high ceilings, it was a nice temperature inside. Before visiting, my friend and I tried to look at the menu online. For some reason, it didn't load but a picture of this amazing looking burger showed up. Right then, we decided that was what we would have to get. We did order some appetizers; the beef on weck egg rolls and stuffed banana peppers. Both were good, but nothing that I'd feel the need to HAVE to go back for. Then came the bbq bacon queso burgers... They looked just like the picture, we were so excited! Sadly, the taste did not live up to the visual. The burger itself was cooked as requested but it was on a brioche bun that was so dry, it was almost crumbly and the queso was flavorless; so flavorless that my friend did not even realize hers had the queso on it. The bacon was the best part; nice and crispy. If I were invited by some friends to visit again, I would give them another try and order something different. read more

A few observations on recent visit to consider: We've been here before and thought we might give it another chance. It was just OK before - the setting is very nice, but food was not very good. We have always been asked to be seated at a table, rather than a high (we are older and that seating is not comfortable, plus we don't like sitting next to the bar- we came in for a nice dinner and to chat) We were seated right next to the bar in a high top and asked if we could have a table and with no explanation, were told unavailable (there were only about three regular tables being occupied in a huge seating area and by the time we left there were still plenty of open tables there). First thing we noticed was TV's surrounding bar and other area, had Fox News on (we dine out to enjoy ourselves and don't want to see News Coverage plus why a golf course would have Fox or any other News station on instead of sports leaves you to wonder - have never ever seen news coverage on in a restaurant, sports bar etc.). Country music was blaring. I observed the bartender (a big guy) cough into his hands (did not wash afterwards or bother to use a napkin) and continue to make drinks. Party of three and we all ordered fish fry and drinks (prior to seeing the bartender cough into his hands). Baked Potatoe was dry and hard. Fish was just OK...more breading than fish and was probably about 1/4-inch-thick total. People sitting at the bar were annoying and loud (less than about 3 feet away from us). Again, fine if you ask to be seated near the bar and that's the ambiance you want - we didn't. Manager might want to go over rules of engagement on cleanliness with this particular bartender. read more

So to start off I have never left a complaint or ever sent back food in my life. But I had to make a account just to leave a review and hopefully spare some ppl form the god awful food this place puts out! My father is a member and when he was not in town was up to me to spend the monthly minimum and even being free to me couldn't make up for how bad the food is every time! Most recent order the pizza was burnt, the Chicago pulled sub was dry and bland, my other sun was the wrong one! When I called to tell them they told me to come right over to get the right one and it would be ready... it wasn't! Was asked to wait 10 more minutes.
