Don't change a winning team. I had the South Paw burger before and enjoyed it, so I had it again. Still sloppy but still very good. Ok... this place is alright. I think my favorite thing is the ambience, though it's basically a sports bar with tables inside. 3 of us sat outside... they have tables with high chairs and regular chairs. Bar is fully stocked. We tried the Fried Deviled Eggs and thought they were OK. Nothing really to be "famous" for in our opinion. The jalapeños on them weren't spicy at all. Our daughter liked the Salmon, though the string beans needed salt badly. Decent, but plain. Wife was good with the small Caesar Salad with chicken, but she noticed that the croutons were huge and a bit soft. It's as if they were added to the salad hours ago. My Southern Buttermilk Chicken sandwich was also ok, but it was kind of dry and very thick. The chicken alone was like 3/4" thick before you add the breading, the pickles/arugula and the bread. I recommend they pound the chicken breast more flat, or go thick but add more pickles, onion and arugula. It was so dry that I asked for additional dressing. The service was pretty good, actually. The atmosphere is really cool. They have a lot of sports photos hanging on the walls and an old scoreboard that says Sweet Home High School on it which I'm not sure if it's authentic or not. The fireplaces were cool too. I ordered the knockout shrimp which were excellent but I also ordered the 8oz sirloin. It was a bit tough so the meat quality is not there. They advertise "Juicy Steaks" on the sign but the steak really wasn't juicy and I ordered it medium rare. I also didn't find the staff to be very friendly. The staff wasn't rude or anything like that but they also didn't really seem to be thrilled to be there either. The food runner brought my food out and left it on the table without even acknowledging me. The waitress did check on me once or twice. Me and my wife came in yesterday for lunch and the first thing I noticed was the outside patio! Still active for those who want to eat in the cold with a fire heat im assuming. Then When I walked in, I was amazed at how simple but rich the place looked. The fire place was at a distance where everyone felt like they were included. The only thing was, the sweet potato taters could've been more crisp and burger could've used a touch more of seasoning unless you like a balanced taste of the meat and seasonings in which it was perfect for that and the fries... just so amazing. There was another staff who I asked to see if the chef can make our burger medwell and he said they're smash burgers and they aren't really that big and he was super nice. What really grasped my interest was the cleanliness. The bathroom didn't have a sewer aroma and had a fragrance scent, seeing the chef with the locks/braids wash his hands up to his bottom forearm made me feel more comfortable in eating since there's not a lot of people in general who don't know the difference between cleanliness and sanitation in which I feel this establishment is on top of it all! Waiter disappeared so we asked another waiter could she please take an order so all food could come at the same time and she said yes and left and never came back. It was a literal blizzard so I didn't want to stray far from my hotel. I wasn't going to get an ap, but the waiter said they were amazing and on happy hour. I saw they have fried deviled eggs and was sold. I'm so happy I did and will get them every time I come back! I loved it so much I got an ap (meatballs) for dinner and it was just as amazing! By comparison, the knockout shrimp had great flavor. I liked the batter and the sauce. My husband and I were surprised by how small it was, though. His steak sandwich tasted great with juicy bites of ribeye. The bourbon soaked chocolate cake with ice cream and caramel sauce was a great dessert. The cake itself is a moist mini bundt cake. Perfect treat on a cold night. Service was good. Avoid sitting at the bar in front of the patio during winter though. Any time I go to lasertron, I find myself coming here for dinner afterwards. I used to absolutely LOVE the burgers here... Their burger selections used to be over half their menu, including a wagyu burger and a bison burger. Now, there are 5 basic selections and their burgers are honestly quite awful. Even looking back at pictures of their burgers I've had in the past, they look much different. They used to be hand-made patties and now they are more like hockey pucks. They used to have a blue cheese burger with fresh blue cheese crumbles, now they have one with a blue cheese dressing. Just very disappointing to how it used to be. Some of their other menu items, such as the calamari also are much smaller than they used to be. On a positive note - their chicken wings are amazing and even with the price hikes, they are rather large with a good sauce. And I love that you can choose between french fries or tater tots for no additional cost, both are good so you can't go wrong there! read more

Came here for happy hour on Friday. This was my first time here and I am kicking myself for not coming here sooner! It is such a cool place to hang out and have a few brews. We ended up staying for several hours because we were having such a great time and the beers on tap were impressive. I was quite pleased to see they had K2 blue razz (one of my all time favorites) and couldn't stop ordering them. They have a nice fireplace outside to sit by when its not too chilly, as well as some cool arcade games to play like guitar hero and big buck hunter. While staying in Amherst we found this great Pub Restaurant. We chose it because it had some items on the menu that we had never had before along with familiar menu options that just sounded good. For appetizers, the four of us split the duck wings, fried deviled eggs, and the Bavarian Pretzel with cheese sauce and sriracha ranch sauce. They were excellent! We all enjoyed them. For our meals we got: Chicken Pot Pie, Fried Chicken Sandwich, Battered Fish Fry meal, and the "No Bun Intended"Burger. Everyone enjoyed their chosen meals and a few of us had leftovers. Did not hear any complaints, but I did have one. My burger was pretty amazing, however, the lettuce was really brown and should not have ever been served with a meal.
