The car I had scheduled to see was parked close to the building, so I assumed they had brought it over for me. Nope. Apparently one of the managers had been using it for personal use, and before I test drove it the salesman had to hurriedly removed their purse and other personal items. The car was dirty but I liked how it drove, but wanted to test drive a couple others. The person "helping" us had zero personality. He seemed a bit miffed we wanted to drive another and sent us out to find the car on our own. He didn't ask how we liked either one. He didn't speak to me at all, really, other than to ask for my check stubs. We told him we had heard some reviews accusing Drive Time of selling lemons, and asked if the car we were looking at had any issues. He gave a curt "no" and kept typing. The terms they offered were VASTLY different from what I was quoted online (and they did a credit check online.) He seemed bored and utterly uninterested in whether or not I bought a car at all. I ended up just leaving, and found a great deal on Carvana instead. Very disappointed in their service.

THIS PLACE!!! Please go elsewhere!!!…read more I am not one to normally bash or talk bad about companies as I understand everyone can have a bad day but THIS PLACE is so wrong on so many levels. I won't get into specific as we are still dealing with them and possible attorneys... but please trust me... they will sell you a faulty car and not bat an eye! How these people can sleep at night is beyond me! DO NOT BUY HERE!! RUN!!! you are better off buying a car from a junk yard!!

I love the automobile industry. Why, I was a part of it for over 40 years. Our approach was always non-confrontational, consultative, and focused on more listening than talking. In those decades the industry has come so far for the better. Now, in retirement I like every other person with a car, must get my car maintained and serviced from time to time. Like going to the dentist, no one wakes up in the morning saying, "Oh boy, I can't want to get my car to the service department at the local dealership." Servicing and maintaining your car are much less sexy than buying a now one. Today I went to a local Toyota Dealers Service department and was treated poorly. I professionally asked for my key back and drove 25 minutes to Hoover Toyota. I was met immediately, did not have an appointment and told I would have to leave the vehicle or come back another time. Both options were perfectly fine. The Service Writer was OUTSTANDING, over the top. He walked my to his area, drive my car their. Made me feel like I was worthy and appreciated my consideration of their service department. He explained in great detail what my vehicle needed and why it was important to do so. He priced it out and found a way to leverage the Toyota Auto Care program to my benefit. He looked under the hood to check the oil it needed which was the less expensive oil prior to giving my a quote. The quote was literally $200.00 less then given by the first dealers and covered the say items. He then offered me a loaner car so he could keep my car over night. What do I say about this, I say BRAVO. You have earned my future business in both service and sales. Remember, this dealership was sold recently. I believe it is the Hudson Group that own it now. The treatment I got is what I expect when I do business with a classy organization. Thank you Hoover Toyota.

Also, salesman didn't come out to assist right away, why would he? When it's been over a hundred degrees out. Not to mention, we went to this location a week prior, just to see a particular vehicle in person. We were about to get into our car, when a salesman finally came out to ask if we have been helped already. Since, we were just looking and not buying that day, we told him we'll come back some other day. We were looking for a particular vehicle and were told that other dealerships did not have what we were looking for in stock. That turned out not to be the case. We did our own research and found what we wanted elsewhere. We were also told that they simply could not give us a larger discount on the vehicle. We decided not to settle and walked away--and I'm very glad we did. We ultimately purchased our vehicle from Limbaugh Toyota, where we received almost 6 grand off a BETTER, more fully equipped vehicle. The difference in both the deal, and the overall experience was significant. I understand that every dealership has its own pricing and that every deal is different. However, if a dealership cannot or does not want to offer a larger discount, simply say, "This is the best deal we are willing to offer." Don't tell customers that other dealerships don't have the vehicle they're looking for or give them the impression that they have no better options. My advice to anyone shopping for a vehicle: do your own research. Check other dealerships' inventories yourself, compare prices, negotiate, and most importantly, be willing to walk away. We walked away, went to Limbaugh Toyota the very next day, and ended up with a better-equipped vehicle at a significantly better price! We spent less time negotiating at Limbaugh Toyota than we did at Hoover Toyota.

Literally the most infuriating experience. I bought a car and 2 WEEKS later the engine had to be…read morereplaced. It broke down after hours and everything was closed so I had no choice but to get a rental from enterprise at the airport. I had to get the only vehicle available that was big enough for my family. I was told that I would be reimbursed. No one said to use a specific mechanic so I had it towed to a place i had a positive experience with in the past. That mechanic was unable to fix it because of how extensive the issue and charged me a fee before having it towed to the Chevrolet dealership. Once at the chevy dealership I had to wait for diagnostic and repair approval for the dealership to give me a loaner vehicle. All the while I had the original rental expecting to be reimbursed like I was told. I contacted the warranty company, assurance, and they sent me the directions to submit the documents for reimbursement. They are only reimbursing me for the time it was spent in repair and not for the entire duration of the rental that I had NO CHOICE in having. I came out of pocket over $1,000 and are only wanting to give me $250. When I called Enterprise about this they told me that if I had a brought it into them they would have helped. I called them the night it happened and was told to call assurance. So because I was sold a car with a faulty engine and it broke down at night when everything was closed and I was forced into a situation where I had to get a rental outside of "operational hours", I am out over $1,000 I do not recommend using enterprise. They didn't come pick us up they didn't offer solutions and they won't compensate you when they sale you a faulty vehicle. Let me clear, I am angry I was sold a car with a bad engine in the first place and because of that I am out a lot of money.

It arrived quickly (6 days, think?) but no title; "needs title & title card", my local sales rep was told, although none of us knew what a "title card" might be. Delay upon delay; Minneapolis was uncommunicative while "my" car sat across town, unavailable. Next, was told Enterprise Regional (I think; no comms, remember?) had to fwd the Minn. title to my Enterprise in Florida.. Another delay: now the lien had to be cleared in Minn. before title became available. (Yes, the car seems to have been on their website before Enterprise actually owned it.) It took just at an entire month for me to complete a simple purchase (no financing, etc.). About two weeks into this, I bumped up my complaints to Enterprise Corporate; not only was nothing happening (outside my local rep), he was unable to get straight answers from Minneapolis. Other than an initial email response, Corporate did virtually nothing to resolve the situation. No phone call to investigate, no email w/a contact point, no contact w/me. Just silence. I suspect Corporate kissed off the complaint to Regional as their problem) then never bothered to monitor. I am stunned by my experience because this is the third car I've purchased through Enterprise Car Sales & I've had nothing but good occur in the past. I've recommended this program to others on numerous occasions. And both my first-line (local) contacts were quite good here in Florida: Justin & Marissa. (Two were necessary because Justin took a week of scheduled vacation during the "sale", returning to find the it still pending.) During this entire episode, higher management has been appallingly absent; doubt I missed an attempted contact -- I'd been awaiting a reply -- but after multiple complaints to Corporate (phone & email), the last reply I could find was a "customer service" post around April 24 saying a manager would be in touch as soon as possible. (Writing this mid-June.) Enterprise has been a good company. They offer the customer quality cars. & policies worthy of note so if you find a local car, they're a valid consideration. But my experience w/Corporate & Regional (plus Minneapolis) has been that there are some empty seats, incompetent people, or some just plain don't care. And please note that, as a prior satisfied customer of multiple transactions, none of these remarks would have been published if one single responsible person in authority had stepped up & acted.
