Unfortunately we have to write a bad review, the orange chicken is definitely not orange, doesn't taste orange or taste more like cinnamon than anything and is so red in color that it stains your clothes and food next to it a dark red when it touches it. So disappointed in this spot from all the good reviews I thought it would me better. I got the 2 item I asked for half rice and have noodles they did the illusion thing where they put rice across and a little bit of noodles on top of half of plate. Also ordered Kung pao chicken didn't taste nothing like it was really salty. Ordered a egg roll no sweet and sour sauce. And no soy or chili sauce. This is my 1st and last time going there. The food was dry it looked like it had been sitting under the heat lamps a long time but I was already there and ordered anyway - that was my mistake. All of it was dry, the rice, chow mein, even the orange chicken. The orange chicken had too much food coloring and was small chunks making it even worse. I won't be going back here. read more

By far the best Chinese take out I've tried in the inland empire, the only other Chinese food place I've tried that beats it is all the way out in indio (believe it or not). I always get the Orange chicken and the BBQ chicken from Peking, with chow mein and fried rice on the side. They also have great rolls and very friendly customer service. read more

The sign said it opened at 11am. I walk in and there aren't any food items cooked. The lady behind the counter said that they serve lunch and dinner. So why say you open at 11am if your business will not be open and serving food. Food was ok, nothing to brag about. read more

Wonderful, family owned, friendly service, great not overdone ambience, pleasing background music, food is great! It is the only place so far that I have been able to find Cream Cheese Won Ton's and not Crab stuff in it. I'm from New England and my favorite restaurant there is a sit down Chinese restaurant in Montpelier, VT. These folks are a definite second favorite. The food smells and tastes fresh and never like some places out here (like a dirty dish rag). Even the price is great, and the amount of food they give you, well, let's just say that it often is enough for lunch the next day (depending on my supper time appetite). A very small place with an extremely limited menu, but the food is excellent and the service is extremely friendly and efficient. The spring rolls melt in your mouth, the Kung Pao is flavorful, not sweet, and spicy without being unbearably so. It does lack peanuts, which would really enhance the texture. The lo mein ("chow mein") is a little plain: pan frying the noodles would really help, along with some bok choy. The rice is light and tasty, the beef broccoli is delicious and not over-sauces, and the teriyaki sauce is absolutely phenomenal! What really sets this restaurant apart is that the chef keeps a light hand with sauces, and doesn't add tons of sugar to everything so the flavors of the ingredients can come through. Wow. This is my new favorite Chinese food place. During quarantine, if we choose to eat out, my husband and I are trying to exclusively buy from small businesses. I'm so glad we found this place! Family owned for the last 18 years, and they were so sweet and friendly. The place was clean and sanitized and I felt totally safe. We were hungry so we ordered everything that sounded good, and it was ALL incredible! Highly recommend ordering takeout from them, and you'd be supporting a small business. Win win! read more

Was craving some Chinese food & im new to the area so Peking express pooped up. They had good reviews 4 1/2 stars so I gave them a try. The owner (I assume) was super nice & friend man. Greeted us as we came, upbeat attitude & super friendly. That alone gets 3 stars in my book. Ordered 2 plates, 1 bowl, and 2 drinks. Prices are really good. Now, the important part... the food! Usually late at night most places have what's left & it's usually hard or not that good, NOT THIS PLACE! Rice and noodles were fresh & delish! I seen some chicken with jalapeños & it Peaked my interest (I love spicy food) so I order. Omg it was so spicy & so freaking delicious! So for food they get their other 2 stars!! All in all this place will now be my go to place for Chinese food! (The food is definitely worth more then 5 stars alone) read more

Good, but disappointed based on their rating. I did show up 45min before closing, so maybe the food was not the freshest. I will try again soon hoping for some delicious Chinese food. The only thing that did set them apart from other Chinese take out restaurants was their customer service. Extremely friendly and informative. The 4 stars is all about customer service. Its fast food! Remember that! Whomever said it was fresh! Did you look at your ingredients? The vegetables are from a bag of frozen mixed vegies, this is very evident in the freid rice. The shrimp frozen and overly salted to preserve it. Their orange chicken, mush, their teriyaki chicken, regular chicken, they give you a cup of sauce to put on it. Ummmm....okay. Most of the food was okay, but unimpressive and no imagination, they don't even seem to put their own spin on anything, just the same generic stuff you can get anywhere else. Stopped here for dinner last night with my sister. Decided to share the 3 item plate. Customer service was ok. We were there around 6pm and most of the trays were empty, therefore not much to select from. Landed on double orange chicken, beef and broccoli with half and half fried rice and noodles. The egg roll was super mushy and the chicken had a sour taste. The beef was too chewy and was not a big fan of the sauce. read more
