On a scale of worst places to eat this place is pretty close to the top. One star for service because it was myself ordering at a kiosk. Ordered orange chicken with white rice and chicken fried rice. I'm pretty sure it wasn't even chicken; Super hard and rice clumpy and dry. Overpriced and disgusting. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I'd be better off having water for lunch. read more

Chicken teriyaki -- I think the 20 yr old rooster ran a marathon before they caught it. Then they must have boiled it for an hour. Was like eating a shoe, or rather what I imagine it would be like, if I ever had to eat my leather boots. You can't ruin a chicken better than this. read more

Omg... avoid this place at all cost!!!!!!!!! We got orange chicken but the chicken was 90% breaded. Tasted old and stale. The sauce is all sugar. They really cheated us on the chicken, zero meat. It's really sad that places like this even exist. read more

Pei Wei - Don't go here - Chinese Near Me - Seattle, Washington

My teriyaki chicken was breaded. And the cauliflower rice was in a pool of water. If this had been my first experience at a peiwei, I would never try it again. The worst food I have had in a long time. With so many options here in SeaTac, they had better step up their game. Update, I cannot believe no one from @peiwei #peiwei has contacted me. read more

So it was nice to see a Pei Wai at the airport. This is a very stripped-down version of P.F. Changs. And I mean stripped down. A few menu items, and that is all. So do not expect a large menu. This is done for a reason: speed. I got my lettuce wraps and Honey Chicken in less than 5 minutes. Not bad for fresh cooked food. The taste was almost identical to P.F Changs. The price is also not cheap. For my two dishes, it was $30 with no tip. So it may be stripped down menu-wise, but price-wise, it stays on the high side. I will say this: eating the lettuce wraps while watching others eat fast food burgers and pizza never felt better. :) The freshness of the food was great to have in an airport. Lastly, the Seattle Airport has food for everyone's taste. Just look around and do not go to the first place, as there are quite a few. read more

My family and I always make a point to stop by when we are at Sea-Tac. The lettuce wraps are great and other family members enjoy the orange chicken. The food is consistent, deftly prepared, and tasty. This is not a gourmet meal but it is highly satisfying and fresh. Recommended for groups in particular where adults and children might have different tastes. At Pei Wei everyone can find something they will like. read more

I had the bourbon chicken with white rice. It was terrible. Too sweet. A really runny honey sauce is all it is read more

Pei Wei - Bourbon chicken - Chinese Near Me - Seattle, Washington

This place should be shut down, bourbon chicken combo smelled terrible, the spring roll was so hard I almost lost a tooth.

Good, cooked to order. Got the orange chicken. Very good flavor. Not too greasy. Portion was small, especially for the price. Not a good place if you are really hungry, but good if you are looking for a smaller plate and don't mind paying a lot for it. Nice servers. Not super fast, but that's because they actually make your food when you order it. read more

Not a fan of this spot. Definitely taking advantage of being in an airport location and knowing visitors are stuck with a limited selection. Extremely overpriced & simply not good, nor fresh. My food was soggy, yet cost me $20. Not including a drink or any appetizers. I typically don't write negative reviews often but this was a really frustrating experience while waiting for my flight. With seeing these other reviews I'm noticing this level of food quality is common for this establishment. It's simply a matter of choosing to provide better food for your patrons, come on. read more

Pei Wei - Pei Wei Original with fried rice, $20. Not worth it - Chinese Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Great to have this gem here! Lots of choices and the ingredients taste very fresh. There was a long line but can move quick, with two self ordering kiosks (a little to the left if you're staring at the cashiers). The self ordering kiosks aren't clearly marked so shove your way through to get to it. Most people didnt know it was available when I was there. Best of all, you can substitute cauliflower rice with any entree for $1.99! And $2.99 for cauliflower fried rice which is really great tasting. If you're worried about getting wider hips like me with the carbs and starches, try out their cauliflower! Friendly cashiers, great food and decent prices. Waji at SeaTac has to step up their game now at this airport! read more

Pei Wei - $11.49 for kung pao chicken, $2.99 for cauliflower fried rice. Worth it! - Chinese Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Don't eat here. The food is terrible. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl and I may as well have stopped by the Safeway and bought a frozen microwaveable one... it would have tasted better.. and it would have been $15 cheaper The chicken was breaded and fried.. the spring roll was also fried. My favorite part of the meal was the Dr Pepper. At least they got that right. read more

food was not good at all, i ordered firecracker chicken and literally got chicken with no flavor well correction it was more chicken skin than any chicken. 22$ wasted, find a different place to eat in the airport read more

The rating is earned on food quality alone. Firecracker chicken is nearly inedible. Insanely sweet is one description, but whatever flavor that is distinct to Orange Chicken is amped up 500%. Like eating a super sour orange and a pond of sugar. I guess to be fair, it was warm, and the lady at register was smiling. Eat elsewhere. read more

I was in an absolute rush to get lunch before a 3 hour afternoon flight. Initially I stood in the line for Evergreens but the long line was hardly budging, so I hopped over to Pei Wei. There are kiosks so it saved time ordering, it was pretty quick, including customization instructions. The food was ready, I kid you not, in 5 minutes, saving me much headache of sprinting back to my gate. Price is a tad high, but I mean it's the airport where a basic commodity like a bottle of water costs more than a Starbucks coffee. The food tasted good and the portion size was more than enough to keep me satiated through the delayed flight. If you're in a hurry, kiosk ordering plus speed of getting your food is a plus at this place. read more

With the global pandemic of COVID-19 still active, the amount of dining options at SeaTac were limited. That said, my experience was positive - from ordering, waiting, and eating the food. The food was quite good in fact it was the one of the few operating. It seems to me based on the previous reviews the service level declines during a very busy rush, but the opportunity is there to be friendly - they'll do it. I had no issues therefore will bring my business back to them again. read more

great food great location, love the cleaness and great atendentes. Service was really good with smiles and attention to details

Yes, it's about twice as expensive as it should be (blame airport rent). Yes, if the airport is really busy there can be a wait. Yes, Seatac should have more places to eat, more places to sit, etc. But enough about the bad things. The food was excellent! I was genuinely surprised at how good it was. Extremely fresh, hot, and flavourful. Both chicken dishes were great, and the portion size is reasonable (though I'd like more given the price). This place is so much better than the Chinese food place that used to be there - it's a huge upgrade. It took about 10 minutes to get my food, which isn't at all bad for an airport restaurant. I'll happily eat here again the next time I fly. read more

Tastes and has the consistency of cafeteria food. Can't say I wouldn't expect that at the airport, but for the cost, the quality doesn't match. Bland chicken and soggy rice. read more

Soooo bad. Every frozen meal I've had tested better than my order here. I was in a hurry so tried it out but would never recommend. Find literally anything else, it's criminal that they serve such food. read more

WOW :( I like Pei Wei but this place is not up to par with every other location I have been to. It is baaaaaad - if you are expecting the fast food quality of the Pei Wei brand -- DONT EAT HERE. Got my to-go last night and started to eat on the airplane when I opened it up the "Asian noodles" I opted for over rice they were plain boiled spaghetti noodles no seasoning of any kind. Let me repeat: not ramen , not soba, not lo mein---- SPAGHETTI! .... Enough said. Skip this place read more

Rating based on SERVICE and OPERATION These people are actually assholes- how they talked to the man at the front who had an issue with his order is completely handsoff, unaccountable, didn't care about the customer. The man had paid extra 3$ for extra meat on one of his plates- and both plates were exactly the same. So they had completely ignored the extra meat and given him the same amount. The lady working looked at it and goes "I don't make the food, this is the amount you get," wtf?! Eventually manager gets called out and deals with it but she wasn't nice about it either, clearly their mistake. It's 12$ per plate (one meat, one side like rice) and it's +3$ for fried rice or +3$ for noodles. Wtf. So 15$ for a normal one entree plate you'd get at Panda Express. That's nuts read more

Wasn't sure about e-ordering but the process is quick and easy and our orders came out pretty darn quick! My favorite was the chicken fried rice - hot, savory with ample chicken. We'll worth the price The original chicken was ok but it seemed a little short on chicken and veggies and long on rice and not quite worth the $16 price tag with tax included read more

The service was terrible and the food was even worse. It seemed like the staff was annoyed with all of the customers. I stood at the counter for 15 minutes without being acknowledged. I finally decided to order through the app, so that I would miss my flight. read more

Second time trying to eat this place at the SeaTac Airport and couldn't try it out once again! First time, the place was closed. This time around, they said the grill stopped working, so they had to shoo away the customers who were trying to get some food. How ridiculuous! Dunno how every time we want to try out this place, it's some excuse, one reason or another that prevents us from trying it. Maybe next time?!? read more

Terrible service and way overpriced!! $17 for noodles and Mongolian beef. Then when you paid the $3 extra for noodles they make the order wrong and give it away to another impatient customer. Then they take your receipt and continue passing out other people's food all while forgetting they made your food a mistake and you have to remind them you never got your food!! Who runs this joint?! It sucks, go elsewhere especially if you're short on time. Almost 15 minutes and it's not sit down service, it's supposed to be fast food. Giving them two stars since the food wasn't terrible. Quite salty but most fast food Asian food is. Also found a piece of plastic in my food, probably the packaging the noodles came in... read more

Awful tasting food for so much money. Decided to try but that was a mistake. Would not recommend.

When dining at the airport all I need is something edible to fill me up before a flight. Extra points if it tastes good. Unfortunately I was left pretty hungry heading into my flight as I struggled to finish my meal. Ordered the original Pei Wei chicken and I probably wouldn't recommend it. The chicken is juicy and well cooked, but the sauce is just so dang sour! It makes it tough to finish especially if you don't have a drink on hand. I don't think I've ever had such a sour meal from a restaurant. The one positive here is that really is that one portion was big enough to serve two people. Solid bang for your buck compared to other places nearby. Friendly staff too. read more

I tried Pei Wei recently at SeaTac. The start was promising--at the right of the counters are terminals where you enter the order via pictures on a touch screen, pay and get a number. You then wait for your number to be called. Unfortunately my wait was 19 minutes. They seem to have a lot of people working in the kitchen, but there were a lot of people waiting a long time. Even worse, I saw at least two of the orders get messed up. The payoff is supposed to be that the food is cooked fresh and taste better. I was not impressed. I ordered the honey-infused chicken and fried rice. The chicken definitely had a honey flavor, but did not taste very good. The rice was better, but I expected better. read more

Is this even Pei Wei? If so they have declined pretty bad over the years. Mushy rice, drenched in teriyaki sauce. Not the Pei Wei I'm used to. They're also serving the food in white cardboard takeout boxes. No thanks. read more

Love my fried rice! Lol Orange chicken with fried rice, that they charge extra for, and didn't get fried rice. Portion is more of a lunch portion, so if you're hungry. Maybe this is not a good option. Chicken was very good. Had a nice kick to it, more on the spicy side. Rice was... ok. Would of been better, if it was fried rice. read more

Pei Wei - Chinese Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Disappointing. I have a long layover at the Seattle-Tacoma airport, and when I saw a Pei Wei here, I practically ran to the cashier to order. Our Pei Weis in the midwest were closed down almost 10 years ago, and I jad really enjoyed it. The staff is nice, but the food is horrible, as other reviewers have mentioned. I got a chow mein dish, and it was yellow spaghetti in a saltwater sauce. I didn't realize until after I ate there that out of the several dozen food places in the airport, this place scored in the bottom 10% on a site for ratings of all of the airport's restaurants. My meal was $23 (not including tip) and it was very difficult to eat. The spring rolls were gross too. I don't usually rate restaurants as a 1-star unless something bad happens like I get sick or something, so I've rated this a 2, but it's more of a 1.5. read more

I have always looked forward to eating at Pei Wei, but I will steer clear of this airport location. The gelatinous sludge coating my chicken was less than ideal. Perhaps if I'd eaten it right away instead of carrying it on the plane, it might have been more palatable. There are many great places to eat in SeaTac. I recommend enjoying Pei at locations else where. read more
