I really like their firecracker chicken and as well as the chicken/lettuce roll things. Really good sauce to put on there. The team works quick and well together. The restaurant is clean, however I usually just get my food to go. I've also done catering /large orders from this location twice now, no issues either time. read more

The food was great and came out nice and hot. There was a good amount of seating inside, which made it comfortable. The service was also good -- our server was very nice and greeted us as soon as we walked in. I would definitely recommend the spicy Korean BBQ steak; that was my favorite! The chicken was also crispy and delicious. read more

As always, great food, we had the Kung pow chicken, and the Kung pow shrimp with fried rice. But I just don't understand why employees can't be a little friendlier, almost like I'm a bother, but anyways the great food makes up for it. read more

This location could do better. Service is inconsistent and can be a lengthy wait. Portion size varies as well. I don't know- sometimes I crave a little quick-serve Pei Wei, but ai may look for another location. read more

The lack of customers during prime dining hours -- and an empty parking lot -- should have tipped me off. True, these days, many restaurants have a lot of take-out orders, but that didn't seem to be the case as they prepared only 2 or 3 bags for takeout were prepared while I was there. I realize that there was a very small crew working -- odd for a Friday night -- but the tables were dirty; the floor looked as if it hadn't been mopped in a few years. The food was bland, all flavor boiled out of the chicken. If spices were used, they missed the food I ordered. What didn't miss the food was the price, which was breath-taking. The people there were nice... read more

The food here at Pei Wei in Surprise is always hot and freshly made. They always give large portions and the food is always delicious! Everyone greets you as you walk into the restaurant, ask if you have any questions about the menu and are always pleasant. The chefs are constantly working ensuring a great meal to be had. I usually go in the evening for dinner so the low lighting is perfect for a nice relaxing meal. The restaurant is always clean and tidy. I recommend this as a "go to" for a great meal! read more

Ace, the best, most courteous person waited on me and did an excellent job!!!! I come back here because the customer service is top notch!!!! Pei Wei Asian Kitchen - Chicken Lo Mein Very pleasant experience with Maya today she is very kind . Foods are great. - Asian Fusion Near Me - Surprise, Arizona

If I could give this 0 stars I would. The place is dirty and the food is awful. A good portion of our chicken & beef was just fat. And they no longer have half portions so it's more expensive. Yuk. read more

I have not been to pei wei for a few years, basically because the quality of food and portion size decreased and the prices got higher. My wife and I were in the area and needed a quick meal. My mistake. We ordered the bourbon chicken and chicken and broccoli and both were bland and average at best. $7.00 for 6 fried won tons is ridiculous. The guy who took our order was named Michael and had terrible customer service skills. The worst part of this experience was that Michael then went behind counter and was seen handling food WITHOUT GLOVES AND PRECEDED TO SCRATCH HIS BEARD IN FULL VIEW. Completely a turnoff and unsanitary. The lone bright spot was the girl with glasses, didn't get her name, that was handling the orders and just about everything else. There are too many other options to be this average. Skip it. read more

Best kept secret in Surprise, AZ. Three of us went and it wasn't that busy and the food was awesome! Highly recommend!

If you're looking for authentic Thai food, avoid here! Service is great but the flavor just isn't there.

This was our first visit. The staff was very courteous and friendly. There was a really long wait for take-out. We had the kung pow chicken and the teriyaki chicken. Both were very good. The restaurant was very clean. The food was good the wait was awful. read more

We had a very tasty lunch with enough leftovers for tomorrow. The restaurant was pleasantly cool and quiet. We were a bit early for a crowd. Since this was our first visit it took a bit to get oriented as to the order and delivery process. When you get your drink, be sure to also pick up chopsticks or flatware, napkins and don't forget the fortune cookies read more

If I can give zero stars it would be more truthful. Horrible location! Miserable and rude staff. I've made complaints in the past to the district manager about this location and nothing has been done to fix the on going issues. Either the food is made bad or there's a 45 min wait to pick up a on line order. Tonight 2/13/25 the register staff and the cook were loudly complaining about customers asking for the food and wait time. Get more help and have a manager that knows what they are doing on site! read more

Top notch customer service! Clean and food came out in a timely manner! Great experience

We ordered Pad Thai and Honey Seared Chicken. I took two bites of the Pad Thai and threw the whole thing away. The chicken was cold. The noodles were overcooked and there was no flavor at all. The Honey Seared had minimal flavor but was at least edible. read more

I haven't been to Pei Wei in a while but decided to get some tonight since it used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Tonight my chicken fried rice has NO flavor. It looks like they just mixed plain white rice with some veggies and boiled chicken. It tastes like nothing. And the sauce packets that came with my rangoons are so cheap they have hardly and sauce in them and hardly any flavor to it. I am so incredibly disappointed with my dinner. read more

Pei Wei has become one of our favorite places in Surprise! The food is delicious. I am thrilled that they offer gluten free options. My favorites are the kung pao chicken and beef broccoli. Food was great and affordable. I had the honey chicken and it was great. The service was probably better than the food, and the atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing. read more

First and foremost, it's annoying how expensive it is to order from Uber eats. I get it partly because I'm tired and lazy and wanted an easy Friday night dinner. The items I ordered were clearly overcooked, to the point where they were burnt. The burnt flavor was overwhelming and made the meal almost inedible. Moreover, the chicken in my order was incredibly dry, which further added to my disappointment. It was clear that the cooking process was mishandled, resulting in this unappetizing outcome. Additionally, it seemed as though I received the remnants of the meal, as if it were scraped from the bottom of the pan. The presentation was far from what I expected when ordering through Uber Eats. I have always appreciated the convenience and quality that Uber Eats offers, which is why this experience was particularly disheartening. I trust your service to provide reliable and delicious meals, and this order fell short of those expectations. I feel the fact I didn't dine in. I was taken advantage of, obviously I can't walk up to the counter and ask for my food to be remade. read more

Great food, the lady at the front was one of the most cheerful and polite people, I didn't catch her name, but she has a few face piercings, if that helps. They are on the speedy side for fast casual, for a family of 3 with no drinks and 2 apps we paid almost 50$,, which is dine in prices... They did a good job keeling the restaurant clean. I tried the new honey habenero chicken, and that was really good. What is unfortunate was it only had like 6 pieces of chicken on it, and for like 12-13$ that just isn't enough. My son's kids meal had more food than my wife's and my meal.. which doesn't make sense. For a full service place, I can get what seems to be a pound of chicken for 9.99. Here, it's like 3 ounces. Again, the flavor is great, just not great value for price. Unless someone messed up, and we just had a small portion this go-round. read more

I took another chance at a restaurant that did not have the best reviews. I made my order thur their app and got my order delivered. It was quick and easy to order. They delivered on TIME! The food was fantastic. The cooked white rice was perfect. We got teriyaki chicken, vast pieces of chicken, and a good amount of broccoli, and the sauce was just enough. We got sesame chicken. The chicken was not over-battered, and there were many crunchy vegetables, and we also got beef and broccoli, which again had a good amount of broccoli and beef. read more

Jose at the front is great. The food here hasn't let me down yet in all the times I've been here:)

I have never been so disappointed, my rice was so clump together I couldn't eat it. I felt like it was something I cooked myself, but I didn't. This is coming from a restaurant. Really sad and I felt I wasted $15. read more

It's been awhile since we've had Pei Wei so we decided to grab some quick dinner after a long day. I ordered the teriyaki tofu and my husband had the Thai basil cashew chicken. We also ordered the wontons and spring rolls. My husband enjoyed his entree and said it was a good combination. The wontons had a super fishy taste usually the ones we like only have a small taste of the crab. The girl that worked there was super sweet and exchanged them out for another order of spring rolls. My tofu had a light airy taste. The combination was good however it definitely needed more sauce for the rice. read more

Great lunch today. Honey chicken. Looked clean, reasonably priced, very tasty. Staff seemed efficient

Seems like getting the orders wrong is quite common from what I am reading from other reviews. I did an app order few days ago for Mongolian beef and firecracker chicken with noddles. Noddles cost extra $2.19, it's on the order receipt but somehow there was no noddles to be found....I emailed the customer service but haven't heard anything back yet. read more

Pei Wei Asian Kitchen - Asian Fusion Near Me - Surprise, Arizona

We used to be regulars here since they first opened until the past couple years. The last 3 times we had came our food just wasn't what it used to be. I had a brand new bag of chicken breast from a local store and you know when they over feed the chickens and the breast is super tough and you can barely cut through it to cook? Well it was one of those nights. I had enough just to fill my husbands stomach so I thought we would give this place a try again. We hadn't been here in over a year. Our toddlers were in need of something yummy. Ordering over the phone was a breeze. We picked out two kid's gluten free sweet and sour chicken bowls for them which came with drinks. Picking up was kind of odd as they had 2 registers but all orders were being taken at the take out register whether dinning in or taking out. Things still went smooth. Service was fast and friendly. They felt like such big girls and really enjoyed their food. My husband and I tried their chicken as well and it was on point. I am thankful for their gluten free options. It sure make dining out a treat! read more

I would leave zero star if I could.. I placed a to go order and while waiting one lady got chicken instead of shrimp. She said it's not what I ordered and this is how that went: cashier "Well there's a lot of orders and we're short staffed it'll be about 20 minutes for us to fix it." Guest: "just write me a ticket for a free meal and I'll come try again in a few days." Cashier: "Ok, give me that food and I'll write you a coupon for free meal. I can go tell my manager but that will just make everyone wait longer for their food and she's just going to tell you the same thing." Guest: "it's not free if you are taking the food I just paid for away. I'll just eat this." *STORMS OUT* FIRST RED FLAG. Secondly a couple came up to the counter and said "I want to cancel my order because the cook is using the same wok for multiple orders." *CROSS CONTAMINATION* SECOND RED FLAG. Brushed it off, didn't want to wait 48-72 hours for the funds to go back on debit card and have to go somewhere else.. I had to go get my kids from school shortly after. So after 25 minutes I got the food and went to my grandma's to eat lunch with her. Well it was SHIT! Burned, greasy and tasted of vinegar. The girl didn't tell me the noodles were just a bed of spaghetti noodles .. no sauce, no flavor, nothing! Wontons we're way over cooked and they sat there so long while waiting for the other food to be prepared that they were cold and full of grease. The orange chicken tasted like vinegar and over cooked. The teriyaki chicken was the only thing we could eat so we ended up sharing that. Waste of time & about $35 I'm sure the other cashier who was training (and on her first day) will NOT go back to work cause that was just all in the 30 minutes I was there. read more
