The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely makes us feel appreciated every time we walk through the door. That personal touch means so much and makes every visit feel special. I'm a diehard Peet's Coffee customer. This is the first time I've been to Peet's since my local location was closed. Nice interior, and well staffed with no customers in line. I ordered my coffee beans and a tea. No problem, right? Wrong. I didn't take my first sip of tea until I was driving away. Neither the few ice cubes or splash of oatmilk were added to my tea as requested while ordering. So, I burnt the roof of my mouth and my tongue. When I looked at the order sticker on the side is the cup, those two things which had specifically requested weren't listed. So, the man who took my order was to blame. Peet's, first you closed my local location and then this happened. You've lost a customer, probably for life. With the plethora of coffee shops, I'll find another one. read more

This place was my place to go with my partner, we would get our black iced tea and just hang out. We got to know the employees and a few of the regulars. It took me a while to frequent this location again after my partner left this physical world, but when I did, there were a couple people that still remembered me and Scott and welcomed me back. The employees are great, they get to know you, know what you like and treat you well. I have been enjoying the seasonal drinks. If you enjoy pineapple, then you will enjoy Peet's on the beach. I ordered the hot oat milk latte with 2 pumps of rose syrup before work. They filled the coffee to the brim which was nice and the latte is delicious! It is creamy from the oat milk. I can ask for 1 pump of syrup next time to really taste the roasty coffee flavor but two pumps is good for not too sweet not too bitter. I liked how the drink temperature was warm and it won't burn your tongue. read more

I don't drink Peet's often but I stopped here on a whim and really enjoyed the seasonal option, a Horchata Cold Brew Oat Latte. The sweet cinnamon is perfectly balanced with the creamy oat milk. Coming from the Bay Area, I was glad to find a Peet's location in the area. We were shopping and was surprised to locate this on New Year's Eve. We needed some pastries and an iced chai latte. First time at Peet's Coffee- met Shauno the cashier/barista who is a coffee aficionado - explained the varieties of coffee!! I opted for the iced black tie with coconut coffee!!! The coffee has a cold brew sweetened with coconut flavored condensed milk and half and half.. i appreciated the strong taste of the cold brew with a surprising sip of creamy coconut flavor through the straw!! The place was quiet, but not empty and the staff made sure things went pretty smooth on their end. The snacks looked yummy, we weren't buying today. Peet's is a well-known chain here in California. I've seen them in airports and in SF, but never tried any of their stuff before. We came on on Friday morning and they didn't seem busy. Albeit this location doesn't have a drive thru so that could be why they weren't all that busy. A few customers were sitting inside though. The staff was nice. They seemed a bit more laidback than at Starbucks. Drinks don't come out as fast, but it doesn't seem like customers are in a rush. My sister and I both tried the brown sugar oatmilk latte. One of their newer drinks on the menu. It wasn't overly sweet which was nice, but the espresso was just okay. Pretty light if you ask me. My older sis got an iced Yuzu tea. Very refreshing! I'd definitely come back to order that! Im not sure how prices compare to Starbucks but it felt kinda pricey. First time here at this location and a very frustrating experience. Was coming here to get an order for a customer. I ordered 13 drinks and 13 food items. I called the day before to see the best way to do the best way to do this. I was told don't do door dash as it doesnt give them enough time. Was told do Uber eats or the peets app. Sure. Happy to make it as easy as possible on the staff given that I needed it at 815 am and that's a prime time. (Which btw MAYBE 30-35people came from 630-8am) I drove from Burbank and arrived at 630 am. (Leaving later would've resulted in an additional hour of drive time. ) Nicole was a gem. I explained the scenario above to her. Then Jacky chimes in annoyed that I'm ordering this much. "Next time can you use the app?" I explained there weren't food items on Uber eats? And their app limits it to 10 items so I wouldn't needed 3 orders. "You. Can do more than one order then". I explained that I need one receipt for my expense report. I'm here 90 min before I need it. What will putting it in the app change??!' I literally left my house at 545am. Not something I want to make a habit of. Her attitude was rude and Unprofessional! And not justified. Maybe the owner should be aware of her customer service approach. Starbucks can do an order like this in 20 min with smiles on their faces. Jacky had the attitude until the end. This location was great with their regulars. But if you're not one of the hundred people who come in every day, they don't want you there. Thank you Nicole for making me feel like a valued customer and not a burden. Love the newly remodeled store and the great drinks. The former manager was wildly wonderfully friendly and we always felt like we were visiting "back home" when we came in. This team is not rude but definitely not the same warm and friendly vibes from the past few years. This location has great easy parking including handicap spots nearby. It's next to Whole Foods and near a Trader Joe's and a couple banks, so it makes for easy multitasking. read more

Its been three years since I initially review this location and yet each and everytime I go, the staff always greets me with a smile. Even in the pandemic, they are always striving to provide excellent service to thier customers and I am happy they opened thier venue again. As always they offer roasted beans upon request, good coffee, and a nice selection of lattes. My only downside (not the employees fault), is that some of thier customers dont wear masks in the patio area. Hence, I get my orders to go. I miss the tables, the regulars, the man who sat at the big table who always had a newspaper, the classical music in the background, the chatter of the customers and employees making drinks. But it everything will be better when the pandemic ends. read more

I was craving a nice hot coffee before I went in for my hair appointment. I first went to Starbucks, but they were closed. Luckily, Peet's was close by! I made it in a few minutes before closing!! Whoo-hoo! I was going to get a hot vanilla latte but decided to be adventurous and try out one of their new featured drinks, which was a hot churro latte. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not, so I ordered a small. After taking my first sip, I regret not getting a medium. It was sooooooo freaking delicious! I did an online order that charged me 5.70 which is great because I can just pick up my order and not rush. But apparently they took my credit card info and manually typed it in so they could give themselves a nice payment? I like Peet's coffee. Drinks are always consistent and quality is top notch. I think it tastes a lot better than Starbucks, it's a level above. This location is one of my favorites. I've been going here for close to a decade. Vanilla latte with almond milk, which is on their menu, is probably the best latte I've had, especially when hot and with a good dusting of chocolate powder and a sprinkle of nutmeg. That's what I like about Peets-- it's always about the fresh nutmeg! I recently downloaded their app to check in and get points. I also reload my Peets card and pay from the app directly. This place has been around for awhile. A friend and I decided to stop in for a coffee after going to the gym. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cases were filled with a wide variety of yummy looking selections. The cleanliness of the place was another matter. The dining room floor was littered with crumbs and napkin residue. This location can't seem to make their drinks correctly. This last time I ordered a medium, she handed me a small. I told the girl who made my drink this is the wrong size & she tried arguing with me. I visit Peets every other day, I know what the sizes are. Then she proceeds to pour my drink into a medium cup & then just add milk! So now my drink isn't made correctly & is weak. Milk with a splash of espresso. I've come here several times where they made the drink weaker than it's suppose to be. What I've come to expect from other locations. I won't be coming to this location again. read more
