    Impossible sandwich
    Chandler C.

What a delicious start to my day. I got the impossible sandwich and it was delicious. The flat bagel kept things light the sausage patty was seasoned the egg was fluffy and not rubbery how some places can sometimes be. The atmosphere beautiful I'll never get over the beauty of the architecture. Staff was lovely

Although it took foreevvvveerrrrr to get my drink, it was really good!! HIGHLY recommend the sugar free vanilla latte here with Ripple milk! I got a large but asked for an extra shot of espresso. Tasted like a milkshake! Love that it's low in sugar and has added protein!! Will I come back for $8.25 for a drink? Probably not. I think Starbucks is cheaper! But it was nice treat!

Over priced, watery, commercialized coffee. I had already been disappointed by the Starbucks reserve taste and wanted to try the famous Peet's. 5.25 for a cookie is crazy! The twice backed almond croissant was good but they heated it up for us and it was barely warm so idk. I ordered a cold brew oat milk latte with SF vanilla and it was the color of milk. I politely asked for more coffee and the barista wasn't stoked about the ask. Not a big coffee flavor. My husband got a plain espresso and it was tinyyyyyy

...Aaah... I love Peet's... It's such a treat to find an actual Peet's store. I've been a mail order customer for years and every time I get to experience an actual store it's such a treat. I had the best latte and a delicious warmed cookie with it. The staff were efficient and helpful and of course the whole vibe in here is hipster and cool. I just love everything about it. Can't wait for my next Peet's find...

Quality/Quantity - One of my favorite brands that I do not get to visit often enough. Yet I seem to always have so many points for free drinks...? My daughter wanted a Black Ice Tea as it is another hot day. So I used my free rewards, win! Atmosphere - Small Peet's location. Service - Okay, and I mean just okay. It felt like we were bothering them yet we were the only customers so late in the afternoon...? Self service cold water. You need a code for the bathroom. Price - Free today, by using my reward points. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your success since 1966 with your first location in Berkeley, CA at Vine and Walnut. And in 1971, you trained 3 young entrepreneurs which would start a new venture called Starbucks.

Peet's has a simple menu to chose from. I had ordered their Sparkling Grapefruit cold brew. The service was quick and staff were helpful. Great place to pick up your coffee on the go. There is some seating available outside during Summer.

First time at Peet's today, reminds me of the quality, service, and ambiance of a Starbucks. Highly recommended!

Fast service. Good coffee. Decently priced. A small grab and go kinda coffee shop. Glad they have a few tables to sit though. I got a Horchata oat cold brew latte. Tasted pretty good and not too sweet. I do feel like the ice to coffee ratio was a bit too much though. Especially in cold weather I don't need that much ice.

Cute store and good coffee! I tried the pumpkin latte, I saw it featured on BuzzFeed and had to try it. It was really good. Also the barista was kind as she realized I was standing there completely not realizing that the mobile orders were picked up in a different area haha. Overall a cute shop and I would recommend

I found that it was worth exploring the whole building rather than just grabbing a drink and leaving. One of the coolest details is the curved elevator. There's also a rooftop deck, though it was closed for renovations during our visit. We tried the espresso martini flight, and all the flavors were tasty. Just a heads up that the drinks themselves are not very large, so go in expecting more of a tasting experience than a full-sized cocktail. This is a major tourist destination, so lines can be long and seats can be hard to come by, especially on weekends. Worth the visit, but plan accordingly if you want to avoid the biggest crowds.

Very interesting with the very futuristic decor, the 4 very different levels and the spaciousness. We spent an hour there because after looking at everything, we had to have a Starbucks coffee and a small dessert and relax. The wonderful smells get to you and you can't leave. The 1st floor offers a quick coffee and bite to go plus merchandise. The 2nd foor offers a cafe & bakery with goodies freshly made in their open kitchen. You can get sandwiches, pastries, breakfast, snaks, coffee , tea. That's were we stopped to eat. The 3rd floor offers different coffee creation to deepen your knowledge about coffee. The 4th floor offers coffee-inspired cocktails, beer, wine and sweet bites. We were there in June on a weekday and there was a long line out the door and a half a block back but it does move quickly. Inside it is packed with people but it was pretty orderly. We went to all 4 floors by escalator. There are lines for the restrooms also, as you can imagine. Some people were impatient and it was awkward being around them. I don't care much for huge crowds but sometimes there is nothing you can do about it. The Reserve is an experience that you want to have. We enjoyed it. You can buy delicious pastries and great souvenirs there. Their decor was unlike any of their regular stores. A must see. Bring money, lol.

I decided to try that iced and it was amazing. My husband got the vanilla latte and didn't like it as much, it was pretty watery and didn't have much flavor neither coffee nor vanilla. The rest of the store did open at 10, so we "shopped" around a little while sipping our coffees. When we went to leave the line was wrapped around the outside of the building. First, I explored the endless snack aisles and selected a bag of chocolate-hazelnut biscuits to take home. I couldn't resist the gelato and tried the pistachio flavor (yum!) On my next visit to Eataly a couple of days later, I ordered a cappuccino, and while my beverage took a long time to prepare, the espresso tasted very high quality. The pastries looked stunning and decadent, and I imagine they'd pair wonderfully with espresso if you have time to linger at the cafe (I was in a hurry to get to a work meeting). The next day, my team and I visited Eataly's restaurant for lunch. I selected the anchovy toast as my starter and the gnocchi for my main as part of the lunch special. The toast consisted of two slices of sourdough bread topped with creamy lemon spread and anchovies. The contrast of the bright lemon flavor with the ultra-salty anchovies was tempered by the creamy butter - these all paired together quite well. The gnocchi, on the other hand, was underwhelming. The gnocchi was much too soft (it had the texture of mashed potatoes), and the red sauce was bland. All in all, visiting Eataly was a cool way to experience gourmet Italian food.

Considering this place is supposed to have some class, we were pretty appalled that they seemed to do the bare minimum for this event. I felt very deceived by how this event was advertised online vs in real life. It seems they intentionally left out details and was marketed as five tastings at five counters, but we receieved barely a sample at each sation. The website said 1. house made pasta - you have one option and it was three bites, no vegetarian option 2. roman-style pizza - only thing I won't complain about although still a small portion 3. Curated drink from Caffe Lavazza - this was a dixie cup portion of a blended Frappuccino 4. house made pastry - they gave you the option of literal bite sized dessert, not a whole pastry 5. the artisanal salumi and formaggi - pathetic, literally 1 piece of meat, three pieces of the same type of cheeses, three olives, and dry stale crackers. Honestly for what they offer this was a slap in the face and from a consumer perspective Eataly's attempt at a summer money making scheme. I would find it hard to believe anyone who rave about this event, in fact I imagine most left very underwhelmed and still hungry. Eataly itself might be a great experience but we did not have the opportunity. We enjoyed the spritz drinks we ordered for their $9 summer special but this event did not make me want to return at all. It unfortunately dangled everything they could have offered in front of us, but then gave us the lowest tier. Driving in traffic to do this was not worth the time, gas, parking or inconvenience and the best part of our city night was when we stepped out of Eataly.
