    Carne Asada Chimichanga. Yum!

Finally went back to Pedro's and it's still amazing. I dined in and received complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were hot and salty and the salsa was very flavorful. I ordered a single birria taco and the Chile Colorado with flour tortillas. Both were great. The Chile Colorado was spicier than other places I've tried and I loved it and the fresh tortillas. The service was friendly and the food came out quickly. I can't wait to try more items here because everything so far has been awesome!

Service is excellent food is totally worth the money best clean restaurant in Alaska it's like being in heaven eating the food here

Charged me for rice n beans for 3 dollars when I only wanted rice. 4 dollars for a side avocado. Prices don't match the menu

I've been eating here for a long time. They've been losing consistency in food and customer service. This place used to be my favorite place to eat. The prices don't match the menu. They charged me 3 dollars for beans and rice when I only wanted rice and four dollars for that small portion of avocado. I called ahead of time for pick up but they had me sitting there for 10-15 minutes. The ambiance was clean but the customers before me didn't seem happy either.

Recommend by a friend I decided to check this place out and I've already been here twice I am empressed with the Friendly good attentive service delicious food

    CRISPY BIRRIA TACOS

The tacos had a nice crunch texture to them, very tasteful! Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was very delightful, we were the only customers at the time but I'm sure if they were busy we'd be treated with the same kindness. The ambiance is very bright and colorful, lots of plants that livened up the mood for the cold winter! All in all great food and great service and DEFINITELY coming back here to try out everything else on the menu. They have a very large menu!

What?! A NEW Mexican spot?! Pedro's is on a stretch of road I don't drive on much, but I made a special trip just to try them out. Interior is clean and simple. You order at a counter (large menu posted above) and they bring the food out to you. However, the level of service feels much more like a full-service, sit-down restaurant rather than a "drop your food off and leave" restaurant. You also get free chips n' salsa, much like a sit-down Mexican spot. You get a choice of two tomato-y salsas: mild and hot. At special request, you can get a green, tomatillo-base salsa that's a bit spicier. I got the carne asada plate. Tortillas were hot, food was good. Some things they could improve: - hot sauces on the table - more heat (in the building): it was pretty cold when I was in here

Food, service, value, this place had it all. My husband and I ate here last week while on vacation. The restaurant is small and in a strip mall, but it has delicious food and great service. Our server was waiting on tables and handing out to go orders, but still gave us great service and was so nice. We started with the salsa and bean dip. The salsa was fresh and chips were perfectly Salty and warm. I had a Chile relleno and a ground beef taco. My husband got the ground beef meal with an extra taco. The Chile relleno was stuffed full of cheese and was so flavorful. The tacos were hot, crispy, and flavorful. My husband loved his taco meal too. For dessert we had to try the fried ice cream and it was sweet and had a perfectly Crispy Cinnamon sugar bowl. Rating from F to A+++ I give it an A+++. We would definitely eat here again.

We thought it was regular hot sauce... so naturally, I absolutely drenched my burrito in it. Big mistake. HUGE. This is to be asked for by customers lol... and it was left out by mistake... One bite in and it felt like I got maced straight to the soul Tears pouring, coughing, face on fire--we couldn't even eat our food because it was that insanely hot. Honestly, it was next-level pain... but also kind of hilarious once we survived it Here's the part that really matters: the owner handled it like a pro. He apologized sincerely, took full responsibility, and didn't even charge us for the meals. That kind of customer service is rare and says a lot about the people who run this place. Owner is amazing and thoughtful... really great people there Accidents happen--but great businesses make it right, and they absolutely did. Awesome food, great atmosphere, cold beer , and genuinely good people. We'll definitely be back (just... maybe staying away from the 357 Magnum next time ). Thanks again for making it right and giving us a story we won't forget!

Flat tonic. Terrible. The enchiladas were OK. The coffee was the color of tar. When I opened the tiny container of half-and-half, the contents were solid and plopped into the coffee. I fished out the solid mass with my spoon and called over the waiter. No apology. I think he then brought back the same coffee, new mini moo-cows. Really terrible dining experience. To top it off, there was an empty plastic vodka bottle on the ground by the front door.

I usually wouldn't eat Mexican food in Alaska those two don't really go together in my brain being from California but I wanted to give it a try anyway lol I ordered the Cilantro Shrimp Molcajete and some chips and salsa on the side. First I will say I don't see why certain restaurants charge for chips and salsa it should be free in my opinion. The salsa lacked flavor and was more sweet than anything. (I asked for the spiciest salsa they have) and the order was $8.. I get it for the size I was surprised but that salsa wasn't good. Moving on to the main dish tho we have the Molcajete which was really good in my opinion. It came out SIZZLING! and the size of it wasn't what I was expecting. So if you're hungry I would def get one of those entrees ! The flavor of the fajita mix was good and the amount of shrimp you get was super filling. That dish was about $38 with the shrimp. The bartender was nice and asked me if I was doing okay a few times and also made sure my water was filled which was great he seemed really knowledgeable of all the good food recommendations and was pretty quick with service so employees were cool ! All in all I enjoyed my early dinner in a nice place that played good Latin music and I liked that it's walking distance from my hotel. I would eat here again one day and try some of their tacos next because I hear they are pretty good. I would say they need to just make the chips free because the are NOT worth $8 lol like at all but other then that decent place.

While the mole sauce was delicious, the chicken thighs I received were so small and bony, my rice lacked flavor and the beans were very soupy. My chips were like the little broken pieces at the bottom of the bag making it hard to scoop any decent amount of salsa into them. For almost $30/plate I was anticipating more protein, bolder flavors and better quality. I want to give them another chance, but sometimes first impressions are lasting impressions. Service was friendly but waitstaff were busy so not as attentive. Ambiance is what you'd expect from a hole in the wall.

Like they were frozen, thawed and froze again. The sauce they simmered it in wasn't good and I'm convinced helped overcook them to a rubbery consistency. My steak was fine, but was well done vs medium rare like I ordered. I prepared myself that it likely wouldn't be cooked right, but I expected at least a little pink. I know it's not a steak house, but they cook steak for other items so I figured I'd be okay. My partner said his ranchero steak wasn't very good. He only ate it so I wouldn't feel uncomfortable eating while he waited. The meat wasn't very good he said, tasted old. He said the sauce wasn't very good either. For the rise in prices of things quality has gone down. They haven't done much for improvements - my seat had a big gash in it. Unfortunately after being a customer for many years I don't see myself returning here after 3 strikes this year of poor quality food at an inflated price. I think they should consider cutting their menu in half and really focusing on making quality dishes.
