I think that they run a racket on the tesla loaners and charge the insurance with luxury rentals. Their main focus was to secure as much money they could procure for themselves ignoring all the requests of the customers. In total they took around $12,000 for a repair of less than $2000 for an average paint shop. (they tell everyone a minimum of three weeks!)

Suddenly, on December 5, they emailed demanding the loaner back immediately and threatened a police report for "failure to return a rental vehicle." I called their rep (Alfonso), who said he would extend the loaner--he never followed up. That evening, the loaner was remotely disabled (Valet Mode) while I was driving, stranding me overnight in 20°F snowy/rainy weather on a busy DC street. I had to pay for towing myself to avoid freezing. The next morning (December 6), they called police (Rockville and Prince George's County), claiming I failed to return the rental. They also told officers my Florida license was "fake" or fraudulent. Police cleared me immediately. I repeatedly explained my disabilities (immune-compromised, OCD, ADHD, anxiety) and asked for accommodations to get my medication and belongings from the loaner (less than ¼ mile away at a friend's house). They refused and left me stranded without transportation or meds ever since. Now they demand over $14,000 in storage/rental fees--almost as much as the repair estimate--yet no work was ever done on my car. I have video, emails, bills, and records. This was unsafe, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Avoid if you value safety and clear communication.

Pricing was great and they were FAST; car was in at 7am and done by 2pm (the last time I took my car in for interior detailing at a chain company, they took nearly 3 days!) All in all it took 3 weeks and darcars collision center kept me up to date along the way with text message alerts. The staff was extremely helpful as I needed to pick up my vehicle before I left the country. There was an issue with the glass company so they let me keep my car at the facility for almost two weeks over vacation for free. In addition when I picked up my vehicle there was a small issue with the back up proximity sensor. I called early the next day and Kerry was extremely helpful, she said bring it in right away. The issue was fixed before lunch. This is my first experience with an accident. Besides the normal pain of talking with insurance companies. I could not have asked for a better experience with the staff and repairs. My car is as good as new! It also was a brand new car (2016) model, making me a little more critical of the repairs. I'm sure he will reply to this with something like 'Sorry for the inconvenience. We been short on staffed, we are now getting back to normal if you can reach back out to us...'
