My husband and I walked in to look for bathtubs for our bathroom remodel and the guy basically said his tubs would not fit within our budget. He doesn't know us, he doesn't know how much we make, or what we do, but he immediately assumed it wouldn't work. I didn't even say a word. I just let him dig his hole and we left. read more

We have been terribly disappointed with our Pedini experience. Our architect suggested we go to them, and look at their Blu line of fixtures. We did, and what a mistake. They assured that we are getting a fantastic set of fixtures for our bathroom remodel. We swallowed hard because the cost was 50% more than the metal fixtures we had looked at by Koehler, but they convinced us. What a mistake. All of the control handles and Blu fixtures are stamped from plastic with cheap metallic coating. We've had two completely delaminate, and all of the wall covers have come loose. Our general contractor has been trying to get Pedini to replace those which the yellow plastic is showing through the cheap veneer, but three months later, the only thing we hear is the chip of crickets. Please think long and hard about a high-end distributor who pawns cheap plastic fixtures off, then seems to avoid standing behind them when they fail. read more

We are delighted with our Pedini kitchen...we saw Italian cabinetry at the Boston Design center when we lived in Rhode Island - and knew we wanted it for our new construction. Once back in Washington, we found Pedini in Seattle and started working with Paul. He was patient with us as we worked through our process (we had talked to him before we even had a building permit) and helped us make some great decisions. Once the build was underway he personally came up to talk to the builder (we're two hours from Seattle) and check the measurements. We had some 'hurry up and wait' moments while the house was under construction but Paul was able to get our install into his schedule at the perfect moment. I had a lot of anxiety about it coming together...but everything fit perfectly. It all works. And it all looks great. We couldn't be more pleased. read more

Designer-architect-owner Paul Nadolny offered Pedini's gorgeous Italian kitchen and bath cabinetry only to professional designers through the Seattle Design Center for years before he opened this "direct to the public" retail showroom in April 2011. All his cabinets are made from 100% recycled wood and eco-friendly materials, they're ergonomic, totally contemporary -- and he has cool accessories, like glass bottom drawers -- definitely worth a look when you're thinking of getting yourself a new kitchen or bathroom. Paul is often at the store, and he's super helpful, totally relaxed and not at all sales-y, just an expert who is clearly proud of what he's offering. read more

I am an architect in Seattle, I have never worked with a sales rep or showroom that failed on every level to deliver what was ordered and paid for. The non-technical term for Pedini Seattle is, I believe, fucking liars. Examples: Pedini cabinet order for a new house - every update, schedule check was either ignored or a complete fabrication. After being assured that my order was stuck on a train in Chicago (after receiving emails that it had arrived on the east cost weeks prior) I called Pedini in Italy. The owner of the factory looked over his shoulder and said "No, your order is sitting right here, it has not been shipped yet." Shall I mention that when the cabinets arrived Pedini had mis-measured several field measurements that their staff had taken costing thousands of dollars to be spent on cutting the product down to fit. We also ordered Ramplus doors for various locations throughout the house. Every order was shipped late, typically after several emails confirming delivery - then on the date no delivery and no contact from Pedini Seattle. The worst case, four Ramplus doors that were promised delivery in October 2013 were delivered in April 2014, unfinished, incomplete with not a word from Paul Nadolny. The remainder of the Ramplus order was delivered at various times at the end of 2013 with glue smeared on the faces of the doors, chipped and cracked mirrors, bent frames, all with missing pieces. As soon as you sign the check kiss any semblance of honesty, service or basic humanity goodbye. Awful, awful people and my worst experience ever in the industry. read more

Our kitchen/first floor remodeling project started with many showroom visits but the one who stuck with us was the one at Pedini's. Paul and his team are super nice, very competent, they listen before they advise and they do their part of making shopping and installation (awesome team) a superb experience. My wife and I recently renovated our Vancouver Special, and installed a Pedini Kitchen.... bathroom and large wardrobe unit.... and all of it turned out awesome! We are so glad we stumbled across their store on one of our many trips to Seattle. The entire team (David, Victoria and Paul) were excellent to deal with. They came up with an excellent design, they were very quick to provide a quote, and the price was great. They had everything delivered right to our doorstep! We hired one of their recommended installers who came in and did an excellent job. When we needed some "tech support"... Paul (the Owner) actually drove up to Vancouver to help us out. I have personally been involved with several construction projects, including a total kitchen remodel, designing and building a custom home and two extensive condominium remodels. Pedini Seattle has recently designed a total kitchen, bath, laundry room and mud room for our current remodel and I could not be more pleased. From my basic ideas, their expertise and input resulted in a kitchen design better than I ever imagined! In my experience the focus should always be on the end result because there are challenges with the best of remodels. Not one of my projects has gone perfectly, nor been on a perfect schedule, but I can say that at the end of the day I have been amazed and very pleased at the outcome. Unreturned phone calls, misplacing orders, months and months of unnecessary delays...and completely disorganized. Paul has so much potential...but the actual execution is a mess. My wife and I elected to leave our pristine condominium in downtown Seattle to set our sights on a major remodel - fully redesigning from the studs a complicated project on Seattle's historic Queen Anne Hill. We love the challenge of small spaces, and worked side-by-side with our team to maximize every square inch. Having researched modern style cabinet companies thoroughly, we were firm believers in the Pedini brand. The company exudes excellence from the top down. Pedini Seattle stood alongside us every step of the way, working every clever angle with precision. There's always a punch list of minor details that need tending after a project is completed. All we had to do was call and set up an appointment. Everything was handled swimmingly. Such a delightful team to engage. Anyone considering European cabinetry needs to understand there are longer lead times than buying local, and although I prefer in just about every other instance to buy near, Pedini's unprecedented sustainability principles balance out the time worth waiting. Earlier reviewers Keith K & Lori C nailed it. My last cabinet door was finally installed a few days ago (late January, 2017). I placed the order for this "12-16 week project" in February of 2013. That's not a typo, folks, it has taken four years for Pedini Seattle to follow through on a very modest kitchen/bath project in a 1,400 square foot house. By the way, this last little cabinet is not either the material nor the design/functionality I ordered. Yelp does not have enough room on its servers for me to detail every mistake that has been made in the last four years, from errors in measurement (spotted by my architect during planning) and functionality that was promised and then couldn't work because of Pedini design errors, to products ordered wrongly or, often, not ordered at all. Months after I'd paid for my bathroom fixtures I discovered they had never been ordered and in the interim they were unavailable/back ordered indefinitely. (I managed to get them by spending a few hours sourcing them myself.) Well into the installation period, Paul had to ask me which kitchen faucet he was supposed to have ordered seven months before, and even after that he never followed through. My contractor finally visited the showroom and told Paul he was removing a faucet I liked from an island display that was for sale, and we'd use that, or I'd probably be dipping water from a well even today. These examples are the tip of a Titanic-worthy iceberg. I made so many compromises and did so much work prodding and following up I can't even remember all the issues any more. Worst of all, Paul constantly ghosted for weeks at a time, not returning repeated email and phone messages. I live 75 miles away and several times had to stop unannounced at the showroom because I'd had no word back from him. During one of those stops, almost two years in, he looked me in the eye and said my materials were on his loading dock. Several weeks later I received an email message from him confessing that he'd been "unable to be truthful" with me about my order and the items were still "six weeks out." It was another two years before the project, which at that point I think only lacked two cabinet doors, was finally finished. There are only two reasons I delayed (and successfully avoided) taking legal action a couple of years into this nightmare. First, I was hostage to the payment I'd made and to Pedini's proprietary materials. Unless I wanted to try again with a Pedini vendor across the country, and hope Paul would pay them directly, I was out of luck with a partially finished project. Second, for someone so utterly unreliable, Paul is oddly financially honest. He spent far more money fixing his repeated mistakes than any profit margin he could ever have had on this small job. He even volunteered a small refund for "all the grief I've caused you." The check arrived weeks after it was promised, of course, and the last cabinet arrived another two years later, but it was an honest gesture. I'm self-employed, and sadly this refund didn't come anywhere close to paying for the hours of project management I had to invest out of my own work days trying to get Paul to communicate, tearing down my office for cancelled and/or failed installations, scheduling and rescheduling, sourcing fixtures, etc. I ultimately started telling friends: "My Pedini cabinets are beautiful...like so many mythical creatures are." I originally posted here with the advice to "Run as fast as you can in the other direction." Today my advice would be to lay rubber in the Bugatti instead, and don't bother looking in the rear-view mirror. read more

i agree with reviewer Kieth K. It is a complete mystery to me how Paul is still in business. My remodel was the worst experience of my life. Paul does not know anything about running a business. He rarely showed up on the site, never responded to emails or phone calls until i sent very angry emails demanding he respond to the simple questions i had; for example, where are the products i ordered and paid for? and when he did respond, his emails didn't make any sense. My remodel was suppose to take 3-6 weeks and it has been 11 months . I finally had to cut my losses and hire a new contractor and designer to finish the project. Paul was caught in many lies about so many things there isn't enough space here for them all. His assistant victoria was also useless in the whole process and made novice mistakes on everything she was in charge of designing or measuring. terrible, terrible experience that no one should have to go through, its been traumatic! read more

I just can't say enough about how great my experience with Pedini Seattle was. Their collaboration with my architect was very impressive and the final result came out great. My kitchen is very small and the Pedini team was able to come up with a well thought out design which maximized every possible inch of space. Another great thing about Pedini was that there was always someone to talk with to run questions and ideas by. Cassia and Paul always got back to me within one or two days and supported my project every step along the way. Pedini's installer was also amazing and most importantly installed my kitchen perfectly. He was on time, neat and very professional. One piece arrived broken from Italy and was replaced in a timely manner. Pedini Seattle ensured my kitchen was beautiful and functional while we waited for the replacement. I would highly recommend Pedini Seattle and the Pedini product to anyone who is interested in beautiful European cabinets. read more
