If there was a zero star, I would surely use it.
Promises were made, measurements were taken, all seemed to be going as planned. And then the install. My kitchen will quite frankly never be the same and sadly I do not have the money to make it right and they certainly never will.
I was told their management would get back to me, and they never bothered responding.
I paid to have my old counter top removed. They broke my cabinets; they obviously did not care about that at all. Then they ran into a problem and said we had two choices, return the granite to the store, or shim the granite. Since we were moving in, in two days, my husband, thinking of a small shim, said let us shim it.
I don't know about the rest of the world, but I don't think of a shim as something that would be required ALL THEY WAY AROUND EVERY SINGLE Cabinet in the entire kitchen, almost 1 inch tall. So what we ended up with, was raw wood under my granite that was highly visible and did not match the wood of my cabinets. And of course in places, broken cabinet tops showing.
I said I would like things fixed, please, gave them every chance, but nope, they moved on and just considered my "project" done to them, and me now stuck with a crappy granite install that looks horrible. I even offered, if you could just come by and put in some trim to match my cabinets, that would at least help and they said, nope we are going to charge you 700.00 to do that.
So much for their customer service. They will tell you they value their 5-star reviews, but the reality is, they don't care at all, they are there to make a buck at your expense. I paid more for their services thinking that I would get better service, don't be fooled.
As I was having a lot done to my house at the time, another contractor came in and literally gasped and said WTF. Yeah, not pretty. read more
