Brian walked us through different pricing options and worked patiently with us to choose the best one. The field team mobilized quickly and were very friendly and easy to work with. There was a slight miscommunication during the project, but Brian worked through the issue and resolved it quickly and we were happy with how it all turned out. John and Brian were more than willing to have conversations on how to resolve some conflicts given that our house is over 100 years old and wasn't the easiest to work with! C3 was very easy to get in touch with throughout the entire process C3 exceeded our timeline expectations and continually hit milestones throughout construction. We ended up removing the cabinet and countertop installation from C3's scope, as the manufacture could warranty them if they installed. There was however a delay with the countertop install, so we had to ask C3 to come back at a later date. We were nervous that our project would get pushed back after the countertops were installed, but Brian and John were able to work with our schedule shifts and came back quickly to finish the job. After C3 demobilized from the jobsite, we had a few painting touchups and they quickly came out to fix and repair. I think he quietly decided we were too small time for him. While he seemed like a good conversationalist his actual communication skills were appalling. Dropped names of famous people whose homes he had done window coverings for. That should've been my first clue.

Our biggest challenge was my wife and my disparate heights. I'm over 6'3" and my clothes are just as long. My wife is 5'4" and hers aren't. We didn't even realize you could customize a closet to accommodate clothes of wildly different length but Eric measured what we already had and did just that. This isn't a possibility with big box solutions, I'm thrilled that my shirts and jackets have enough space to hang without bunching up at the bottom. Eric was punctual and professional at our first meeting, spent a lot of time gathering measurements and soliciting our wants before making some preliminary drawings and showing us his wide selection of materials and finishes. We were thrilled with our first sketch and things only got better when we received our detailed closet plans. Eric worked hard to make sure he could find the finish and drawer style of our dreams, working with multiple vendors to get us that material we needed. His install took about a day and he was clean and quiet--my wife and I were able to work from home while he did his work without issue. We went from not enough storage space to more than we know what to do with. Eric's pricing is fair and comparable to big box do-it-yourself solutions. You will get a custom closet without compromise to fit your budget and will end up with a nicer and more space efficient solution than if you looked elsewhere. Eric even replaced the utilitarian cable closet cover with a bespoke wooden cover that matched the closet material and finish. Given the height of our shades (12 feet), we chose the motorized version, but needed to install an outdoor electrical outlet, which they organized for us. Zack and his partner came on their designated time and installed our shades with care and excellence. You can tell that they take pride in their work and were careful with all of the surroundings, and cleaned up everything perfectly when they left. While my experience was far from ideal, the company is now under new leadership and has shown a commitment to improving their practices. Though they couldn't resolve the issues we encountered, they did make genuine efforts to address the situation and engage constructively. If you're considering Abodian, it's worth noting their progress and their efforts to turn things around. Be sure to discuss expectations and project details thoroughly to help ensure a smooth experience.

I scheduled an appointment for Black Friday about 4 or 5 days ahead of time. I used their online…read morescheduling page. Within minutes, I got confirmation via text message. Then, every day after that, they sent me another message, including the day of. Then, an hour before the appointment, they sent me another confirmation message. My wife and I drove to their location, and there was nobody there. I figured someone might show up at the exact time, so we waited. About 10 minutes later, I get a phone call from a rep from Abodian. They told me that the company was closed for Thanksgiving holiday. You must be kidding. It is 2024, and the technology is there to prevent this. 1. They should be using a scheduling service that allows blackout dates. 2. They should be sending the text or email notifications to not only the customer, but whomever is supposed to be taking the appointment. 3. They should be updating their hours of operation so that they are accurate on search engines. When I searched, they showed the location was open that day. Then, to top it off, they rep told me on the phone how the company was going to make it up to me and that I would get a call on Monday. Not only did I not get a call, but I have not heard one single word from Abodian since that Friday. Hands down, the worst experience I have ever had with a company. It is bad enough that you wasted my time, but no follow up after the fact. I strongly encourage anyone to look elsewhere if you are looking for cabinets.
