Bogart is a new owner and I came from Tucson to replace a battery charger for my Pettigo that was under warranty. He was amazing and very attentive when I got to the shop, because he's a recent owner, he had to look for a while to find the two battery chargers that were on the inventory online.. When I walked in there , there was a customer behind me .....Bogart said no no let me help you first. He was very attentive as I said and was such a pleasure to work with! He was great. I had a later problem with my battery and he kept our lines of communication open. Pedego corporate is undergoing a shift, but withBogarts help we resolved the issue. Had SO much fun riding electric bikes for a couple hours around town and on the Arizona Canal Path. We rode 11.17mi.!! The bikes go up to 20mph and that was awesome! John was also very helpful and informative. Thank you! $25hr or $70 for the day (pick up until they close). We did it for 2 hours which was plenty of ride time and just having fun! 10/10 recommend! read more

Hello, I had a bad experience with Keiths customer service related issues for bike repair. After my first trip to pedego keith assured me my brake rubbing issue (after testing it myself) was fixed and my left brake should have tension. I got back to my house to test this issue and nothing was fixed. The bike brake was rubbing more then when I turned it in. I called keith to address the issue and he said we are going to have to repair the rotor. I am a tech myself, I understand when things arent fixed the first time doesnt mean its necassary on the tech.. Upon returning to the shop, to replace the rotor, Keith blamed me for taking off the tire and that was why the issue was occurring. I explained to him, nothing was taken off but he persisted to blame me for taking it off and hence the issue with the bike earlier. Overall, very condescending and rude demeanor and $200 down the drain plus $40 in gas. Hopefully its fixed now and will remain. read more

I went to the shop looking for an electric bike for my adult grandson to use to get to work. The salesman I worked with (Bogart) was pleasant and knowledgeable. When I took my grandson there to pick up the bike, the salesman stressed the importance of a helmet and another employee joined in, even showing my grandson a recent scar from a past wreck he had. I think their emphasis on the use of a helmet did far more to encourage my grandson to wear a helmet than any advice I could give. We bought a helmet and I hope and believe he is wearing it. read more

Great place to purchase an ebike and to be able to maintain and repair it. I bought my very first ebike from Pedego and used it lightly for about 3 years. The battery went bad and was replaced by the factory after running some diagnostics. read more

We have 8 pedego's. We bought the newest one less than a year ago under warranty. The brakes fell apart and reflector broke off. They had the nerve to tell us to zip tie it. Zip tie a $3200 bike. Then throws screws on the counter and said you'll never find what your looking for. So rude my husband walked out. Very disappointing that they treat people like this. I will not ever be buying from Gilbert. I will only deal with McDowell location. read more

While we are currently in an era of the big box retailer and large national chains, doing business at Pedego was refreshing. Attempted to rent electric bikes today in anticipation that we would purchase a set. The sales associate said they could easily last 4 hours minimum, however, 90 minutes into our ride, and both bikes completely died. The bikes themselves we fun, but having our bikes totally die on our ride took all the fun away and unfortunately, left a bad taste in my mouth about this business. I guess they don't maintain their rentals, but what kind of practice is that if you want people to buy them? I'll purchase bikes elsewhere. read more

The store has only been open for about 4 months now and the owner their is doing a fantastic job. Customer service is at its best and you feel at home doing business there. We already owned two Pedego bikes purchased at another store prior to this shop opening. However, my wife's bike was improperly sized for her and we traded hers in for a different model and frame size here at the Gilbert store. The transaction went smoothly and we plan to do all our Pedego business here. They have a good stock of bikes on the floor and do rentals too. My wife noticed the store had no reviews yet and I told her it needed one, because it's a five star store! read more

This Pedigo store has poor customer service. The owner is nice but his employee that works on Tuesday and Wednesday is incredibly rude. I purchased a e-bike on consignment that needed a few tune up items. I also purchased some items to add to the bike. It was closing time on Monday and the owner told me his other employee was working the next couple days and that he would have it ready for me to pick up on Wednesday. The owner was unable to locate the battery for the bike but assured me it would be found. I called on Wednesday to see when I could pick up the bike and the employee had not even looked at it or read the notes the owner wrote, only that he noticed "there were a lot of notes". The owner said they were just starting the slow season and the other employee could get it done by Wednesday. The employee was very rude on the phone when I questioned him about the battery. He was also rude when asking how long it would take. He instructed me to bring in the basket I was having added to the front. I assumed he had already worked on the bike and all he was going to need to do was add the basket. But this was not the case. When I arrived, he told me it would take about an hour. I returned and it was complete. A week later the same terrible sounds were coming from the brakes. I was leaving the next day returning to MN and I called asking if they could look at it to see what was wrong. It was this same employee and he was once again rude on the phone. Telling me I needed to bring it in. I told him I couldn't leave it overnight because I was leaving the next day and he said to just bring it in. When I arrived, then he remembered who I was and said he put new brake pads on. I asked if he could just do a quick look. He told me there were other bikes ahead of me and that I had to leave it over night. I have been bringing bikes to bike shops for about 40 years and have never been treated in such a rude manner. Most of them can take a quick look and if it is an easy fix, they typically take care of it on the spot. If it requires more attention, then they suggest leaving it. Again, I just asked if he could take a quick look and that I was leaving in the morning. He accused me of having a time constraint on him just like the last time. It wasn't a time constraint the first time, he just never looked at my bike and then responded only when I called. The owner is really nice, but he needs to get rid of this employee because this employee is bad for business. I suspect this employee treats other customers in the same manner. Just to add that I have never felt compelled to leave a review for any business for poor customer service or for any reason, but this was unlike anything I have ever experienced. read more

My husband and I did alot of research on electric bikes and shopped many stores. We finally decided on Pedego and we are so happy we did. I needed something that would allow me to sit upright and be comfortable. I chose the Interceptor, but they had several models that would fit the bill. I liked that Pedego has a large inventory of options: size, style, color and price. One of the reasons we went with Pedego, beside them making an amazing electric bike, is that they carry a 5 year warranty and have many brick and mortar stores where you can get support and maintenance. Mike, the store owner in Gilbert, was really easy to work with, and provided truly exceptional customer service. Who you buy from is just as important as what you buy.
