It was partially humid, and I wanted to lock in on some work, so I opted for the upstairs. I was the only person up there. The downstairs had some steady traffic, but I was completely alone upstairs, which also had a micro-arcade and a bowling alley. What apartment complex am I even at? Service was pretty good as they seemed on top of it. The food was good, but it was three biscuits and strawberry jam. If they had somehow in some way messed that up, we'd be having problems. I arrived right around that time and my order was nowhere to be found. After waiting a few minutes, I asked an employee about my order. I told her it was for Mike, a medium Angel Food. She immediately said she thought someone already picked it up and went to get the manager. The owner came out and, without even listening, flat-out told me, "Sorry sir, you already picked up your drink. It's gone." I told her I had literally just arrived and that someone else must have taken it. She looked through the receipts, found my order, and still insisted that I picked it up. At this point I was confused and getting irritated because she insisted someone else picked it up instead of actually trying to fix the issue. She then said she needed to "check the cameras" and disappeared to the back. After several minutes of standing there, I asked the employee if they were seriously going to make me wait while she reviewed footage instead of just remaking the drink. When the owner came back out, she claimed that someone walked in, said their name was Mike, and picked up my smoothie--so therefore I was out of luck. She refused to remake it. If someone takes your drink--by mistake or otherwise--you will be treated like the problem, accused of already picking it up, and initially refused a remake or refund.
