This café offers a pleasant and inviting ambiance--bright, clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Menu and Ordering Upon entering, you'll see a large blackboard menu on the right wall listing their main offerings: savory crepes, sweet crepes, salads, a kids' menu, bagels and croissants, morning crepes (available until 2 PM), and special beverages. On the countertop, there's an additional menu featuring other beverages, including smoothies and beers. If you don't find a drink you like on the wall menu, be sure to check this one. Orders are placed at a self-service kiosk on the counter. You can customize your crepe by adding extra ingredients, including the option to add protein to vegan crepes. Seating and Amenities Next to the kiosk, there's a small sign on the right displaying the WiFi password. On the left side, you'll find a basket of table signs with letters. Select a sign and enter the corresponding letter on the kiosk so staff know where to deliver your order. Seating is self-serve. Near the kitchen area, you'll find a station with water, soda, utensils, napkins, sauces, salt, pepper, and food containers for packing leftovers. Food is served on sturdy paper plates. After dining, you can dispose of trash in bins located either near the utensil station or at the entrance/exit. Used cups can be returned to the bus tub near the water station. Food and Dietary Options One standout feature is the ability to customize crepes with gluten-free, vegan, or buckwheat batter, with any additional charges displayed at the kiosk. The crepes here are on the thicker side. If you prefer very thin crepes, this might not be the best fit. I tried the Prosciutto Apricot Jam, Caprese, and Mediterranean Medley crepes. The apricot jam was sweeter than my preference, though consistent with what I've experienced at other creperies. The Caprese crepe was pleasantly balanced, and I enjoyed the combination of ingredients in the Mediterranean Medley. Their gluten-free crepe is quite nice. Based on the taste, I suspect rice flour might be one of the main ingredients, though I can't say for certain. Their horchata is notably less sugary than most, yet still flavorful--worth trying if you prefer a lighter version. Service and Experience I like that the dining experience there is always a breeze. You choose your order on the kiosk, wait a reasonable amount of time, and the staff bring your food over with friendly, non-verbal service. All of the staff are cool deaf people, and they communicate in a thoughtful, visual way that feels natural and welcoming. The food quality has always been consistent in my experience. When the staff check in on you, they give a thumbs-up to ask, "Everything good?"--just return the thumbs-up to say yes. I really appreciate how carefully they work to make both the food and the dining experience smooth and problem-free. Parking We usually park in the free garage located in the same building. It can get crowded at times, so it's good to plan ahead. If the garage is full, there are additional parking spots further down outside the building.

Having had crepes every day in Montreal, I was craving them today. So I chose a location on S. Lamar close to my next destination of S. Congress. The creperie is small and quaint with indoor and outdoor seating. I chose a lemon crepe for $7. It had natural lemon juice and was in the sweet category, but not eye squinting sweet. Totally satisfying... I love supporting small businesses. I love even more supporting businesses that employ staff with special needs. The entire staff is deaf and provided seamless service. There are steady flow of customers both in-person and "to-go" orders. It looked like all the customers were aware that the staff was deaf and was not hindered by it. I absolutely love this. Definitely will return to Crepe Crazy!

Absolutely love this place! As a crepe fanatic, these were some of the best crêpes I've ever had. So many options both Sabre and suite, to choose from. The ingredients that they use are definitely fresh. The sweet crêpes are also not too sweet, and I like how they don't cover the entire crêpe with a ton of sauce to take away from the actual crêpe. The inside is very lovely with lots of natural lighting and many options for a small and big groups. It's a order at the counter establishment. You take a number and then they'll bring you the food to your table. The service is also phenomenal. I really liked the concept of Having employees who are deaf. Parking is also easy, as there are lots near if the lot right in front is full. Highly highly recommend this place.

Had a serious crepe craving last Saturday, so we headed to this place on South Lamar and I'm glad we did! The place has a lovely vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was a windy day, we opted to sit inside and enjoyed the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. They had a Crepe of the Month special, which happened to be Oreo. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of these types of dessert crepes, it was pretty much just filled with Oreo crumbles and cookies, which didn't really wow me. That said, if you're into Oreo-based desserts, you might enjoy it more than I did but I loved their regular Nutella hazelnut Crepe. Overall, it's a beautiful spot, great for a casual outing, and definitely worth visiting again to try other items on their menu!

Had a craving for crepe and top on my search list was ZCrepe Crazy and this was my first time venturing into this place. The parking area was not clear enough to understand where to park, so we parked next to torchys. Ambiance was alright but the menu was extensive and got my favorite flavors - Nutella but also wanted to try out their specials. My order: Nutella Royale Crepe Oreo crepe As expected, Nutella Royale Crepe was amazing and such a delight to eat. Nothing too extravagant but the nutella and the crepe combo never fails. On the other hand, the oreo mascarpone was just alright and it wasn't great for continuous indulgence. Will return for the savory flavors soon.

Hands down the best crepes I've had in Austin! I usually stick with the Swedish or Norweigan Crepe, but they also have a bunch of dessert options, as well as, Bagel sandwiches and salads. The inside is very clean, staff was friendly and the food came out cooked to perfection!

    Lemon Zest Dust Crepe

We recently took a trip to South Lamar and ended our night soul searching for crepes as anyone should be doing on a Saturday night. That search left us at Crepe Crazy's doorstep, and Thank God it did. One thing to note off the bat is that this is an ASL restaurant. Ordering is done through a kiosk and you grab a lettered placard before heading to your seat. We just wanted to note this in case anyone headed in and didn't fully understand the process. Very ample seating and parking next door is a big plus. The service is quick and friendly, with our server and us signing thank you and you're welcome before we dug into our crepes, which were delicious. We got the Nutella Royale, Lemon Zest Dust, and Peanut Butter Heaven. The Nutella Royale was pretty standard, as most Nutella crepes are. The Lemon Zest Dust had a, well, zesty flavor that kept it fruity and light. And lastly, the Peanut Butter Heaven was delicious with a generous amount of peanut butter inside with bananas strewn throughout the pastry. Some dessert places like to make things over the top and separate themselves with ridiculous concepts, but Crepe Crazy knows what it does and does it well. If you're in the area and are craving a crepe (or possibly want to show appreciation to Austin's amazing deaf community) then we highly recommend a stop by Crepe Crazy.

This place wasn't bad :) I was in the mood for a crepe and decided to pick up a couple for lunch; I wanted to try both the sweet and savory ones. I got the prosciutto and apricot jam one with Brie, as well as the lemon zest dust sweet crepe. Tbh they were both kinda sweet because of the apricot jam but I liked the prosciutto! The lemon zest one was ok too, it was very "bready" though, I was expecting it to be a little thinner. Overall in terms of the food, it was good but not overwhelmingly so~ I think I like the crepes I make at home on my own a little better ;) What I did like too though is inside had lots of seating. The worker who gave me my order was also deaf but he was nonetheless very courteous and served me with a smile. Really appreciated that :) I was a bit confused by the parking; I ended up parking in the lot next door and walking over, but I think there is an actual parking lot behind this place where you can park for free. I didn't see an entrance though. Overall - I don't think I'll come back unless someone invites me or something since I just wasn't blown away, but I like the concept. Give it a try if you love crepes, especially if you like them made a bit thicker.

Really enjoyed eating brunch here on the weekend. I really like the mission of this restaurant. The place itself is beautifully organized. Very clean with lots of natural lights and tall windows. Ended up getting a lock beagle which was really good. The craves were also fantastic But they save everyone and the sweet ones.! the service was also really good! She is limited so I would definitely try to get there early, but we were able to get a large table easily

    Sweet Cheese Delight Crepe

Continues to be one of my favorite ATX businesses after 3 years here. For sweet crepes, get the sweet delight, nutella royale (I opt out of the chocolate sauce and do just nutella + bananas). For savory, get the ham & cheese. I am giving it four instead of five stars because their crepes are a little thick for my liking - I like bobos crepes and Cafe Creme thin ones better. Flavor here is good though. They dont have decaf coffee unfortunately :( and sitting outside gets super loud since its on S Lamar.

Tried this place again and the food again was very delicious. We tried southwest, turkey avocado and a sweet one with lemon, honey and whipped cream. It was too good. I definitely recommend.

    Peanut butter heaven! Definitely delicious.

Solid spot! It's cute and clean with lowish lighting to provide a relaxed atmosphere. We got in around 6 and soon after the tables started filling up. The staff all uses sign language, but I did have one woman who was able to take my order while a friend used the kiosk. She was super friendly and helpful even though I know basically zero sign language. I knocked off a star solely because they have vegan batter available, but absolutely none of the items are automatically vegan by switching batter. Ordered a couple of savory crepes without cheese and they're just ok. You can skip the Southwest one if you're vegan. Definitely needed something saucy added. However, the peanut butter heaven without honey is a delicious vegan option. I'd split a sweet one if you've already had a savory one, the portions are hefty.

2nd time going here and it has gotten even better! The staff here is a deaf so they have an Ipad to order from at the front. The service is great and I enjoy supporting a unique purpose driven business like this. It makes it even easier when the food and value is phenomenal. Crepes are between $10-$13 and coffee is around $6. I got the Basil chicken pesto crepe and it was the star of the show. The pesto tasted so fresh and crepes were delicious. A good size as well but since I have a very large appetite I supplemented with a bacon, egg and Swiss bagel. I honestly wasn't expecting much but was very surprised with how soft the eggs were and how quality the bagel was for $6.50. Certainly recommend both of those items. Also had a brown sugar crepe with strawberries which I found delicious. While really good I would likely opt for a different sweet crepe as I am more a fan of Nutella and Strawberries. Inside is cute, good amount of natural light and solid amount of seating. Some spots outside as well for when it is nice. Overall incredible purpose driven restaurant with fantastic value and flavorful, fresh food!

The food is consistently good, and most of the staff have always been incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful. That said, we had a really disappointing experience during our last visit that felt worth sharing. A younger female employee with a long dark ponytail brought our food over, I think she was a food runner - but she wasn't wearing the Vivel branded t shirt like the other employees. When my husband politely asked for ketchup, she visibly rolled her eyes before bringing it. When I then asked if I could please have a knife (I'm seven months pregnant, for context), she started to walk to get one, took two steps, turned back and said "you can go get it yourself". It felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, especially given how quiet the café was at the time. We stayed for a while after and watched her standing by the counter organizing utensils, so it wasn't a matter of being too busy. We really like this place and will continue coming back, but this interaction stood out in a negative way and didn't reflect the level of service we've experienced before.

It's a small space, with only around eight tables and a tiny kitchen behind the counter. It's a bit hard to locate from outside. There's no big sign on the window indicating the restaurant's name, just a plastic A-frame sign outside the building's doors. When I got there, four of the eight tables were empty but the dirty dishes had not yet been cleared. It took close to 10 minutes for the tables to be bused. Because the kitchen is so small, I'd recommend going up to the counter to order as soon as you get there.
