We visited the Eastlake location last week with our three young kids. The staff were friendly and helpful in making recommendations. I love their salsa bar! Everything is fresh and made to order. I loved the squash and chicken enchiladas. We enjoyed two different ceviches. My kids had a steak burrito (loaded!), nachos, and tacos. Everything came pretty quickly. I got the seasonal gazpacho and the street taco platter with jackfruit, butternut squash and chicken taco (for my friend). The gazpacho came with a huge side of chips and many different salsa like mango pineapple, smoky Rojas etc The soup was delicious and perfect for the recently hot Seattle weather. It had lots of vegetables and was very chunky in texture. The tacos were quite nice too. Personally butternut squash was sweet so I won't get that again. But the jackfruit was delicious. The platter also came with a generic serving of flavoured rice, beans, charred onions and jalapeños. Loved those sides as well. Came to this place because I was craving some chilaquiles. They were ehh but the service and establishment made up for it. They have a nice fire pit outside to enjoy your meal. It was a tad to warm for me even tho I was there in December. If you are drinking a cold beer drink it quickly because the fire pit will warm it up. The guacamole is tasty, and worth the couple bucks to add on! I ordered a burrito bowl and a fountain drink, but the employee never gave me a glass for the drink and walked away as soon as she put away the money I paid with so I didn't get the chance to ask her for one. I stayed at the counter hoping I could catch her attention and ask her for a cup, but after standing there awkwardly as more customers filed in behind me, I gave up and took a water cup that I filled with soda. Fremont Pecado is fantastic. Fish tacos are bomb and a good deal compared to most places around Seattle. Outdoor fire is awesome as well as the other seating areas outside with smaller fires. Our food tonight was like someone took old scrapings of little bits off of a cutting board and filled tacos and a burrito with it. The food was old, dry, and we couldn't eat it. The tacos (yes I got two because of the taco Tuesday) were very mediocre. The steak didn't have any flavor at all. Nothing else in the taco made up for that except for the price ($5.50 for two). If I paid the full price I would be super disappointed. My friend didn't like his torta either. I tried it and agreed with him - the bread was weird, there wasn't much carne asada, nothing great. I tried Pecado Bueno for the first time last night! The Fremont location has a lot of outdoor seating which is really great right now. For a drink I got a coconut mojito. It was REALLY coconutty which I really liked. Unfortunately it was $12 and they have a $5 margarita option so I felt like I couldn't justify more than one of the mojitos. We got chips and salsa to start out. We got guacamole as well which was SO good- I'm not even a huge guac fan but I still liked it. For dinner I got the breakfast wet burrito - I chose the cheese sauce to smother it in. They had two other options, and I think maybe I should've got one of those. The cheese was not the consistency I was expecting and just wasn't my favorite. The contents of the burrito were amazing though; the potatoes were my favorite thing I ate. Apparently they had a potato option for taquitos, so I think that'll be my next thing I try. Overall I really loved my experience here. My favorite moment so far was when an older couple walked in the door, said something like "We'd like dinner for two," and the host replied with "This isn't really a dinner for two kind of joint. It's more of a taco shack!" I've been by several times, and really enjoyed the food, the horchata, and their claim to fame - the $3 Margarita. One of my favorite things about the food was probably that they let me order my steak rare. I hate overcooked meat! They do care about their ingredients, so I believe my boyfriend agreed to eat some of their chicken, but mostly I remember him being happy with his rice, beans, and guacamole. One important thing is to mention "no dairy" if you are vegan or trying to limit your dairy intake. I believe the beans had some cheese sprinkled on top. Pecado Bueno is another great Upper Fremont find on the same street as Paseo, Uneeda Burger and Dot's. Pecado Bueno's claim to fame is their $3 house margarita. But what drew me in is their sizable outdoor seating area. It is a bit larger than the one across the street at Uneeda. With 80 degree weather and a hungry stomach, I was initially headed to Ballard from Wallingford but I decided to settle on getting something halfway there in Fremont instead. I was on my way to Green Lake afterwards, so Pecado Bueno seemed like the place to go rather than make the extra journey west. The setup at Pecado Bueno is different than most places as I ordered at the counter inside rather than waiting for someone to take my order. After reviewing the menu, I decided to get the Michoacan (flour) taco platter ($9.95) with pork carnitas and a house margarita ($3). To the left of the counter is a salsa bar in which you help yourself to the fixings including pico de gallo and numerous salsas. It was a bit problematic since they give you those small ketchup size containers which is a bit difficult to transport while carrying a drink. I took a seat at a table outside, but in the shade. One of the servers brought over the taco platter which came out pretty quickly and was very good. Pork carnitas was extremely tender and tacos were excellent as a result. The beans and rice were also nicely seasoned. Despite being a pain to bring out, the pico de gallo, salsa verde and mango/pineapple salsa complimented the dish wonderfully. As if the food wasn't amazing enough, the $3 margarita sealed the deal. It was a refreshing thirst quencher on a hot day. If I didn't have plans afterward, I would have partaked in another. If you are looking for a good Mexican restaurant with a nice outdoor seating area and a cheap but excellent margarita, I would suggest Pecado Bueno. read more

I had been looking forward to trying Pecado Bueno for several weeks due to the lovely heated and covered patio. Restaurant get very COVID conscious with sanitizer aplenty and spacing between tables. We started with a round of margaritas and chips/salsa/guacamole. The margaritas were basic but delicious and the portion was generous. Average chips, salsa, and guacamole. Not sure how to describe my burrito and my girlfriends tacos other than "run of the mill". Nothing really shocked me as great here, but it also wasn't bad.
