We are loyal customers for over a decade, but after the last few visits are feeling we may need to start exploring other options for our small dogs. There have been scheduling snafus, mysteries where we've just fallen off a waitlist, and the hand drying we always had documented in the system and was much preferred for our dogs with anxiety, fell off their radar and does not appear to be an option any longer. The past year hasn't been great for us with Haute Dog... we miss you Lily Bees!

I really liked bringing our Doodle here, but the last couple of times have been disappointing. Last October, I brought her in for her haircut, and what we wanted was discussed with the groomer. When I picked her up, she was completely shaved all the way down to her pink skin. She didn't even look like the same dog! Fast forward to now, and I wanted to give it another chance. I requested a different groomer this go around. When I picked her up today, she looked great! The disappointment was when I went to pay and discovered that my cost DOUBLED from the last several times we've been in there. There was one spot where she was matted, but her entire body was not matted. I was told it was for "combing" but no one ever mentioned any price increase for this. This price reflects a dog that had serious matting and I know my dog didn't have serious matting. The staff is kind and friendly! I think my time with Lilly Bees is up, and I'll be looking elsewhere for groomers.

First time was not a fantastic experience as my dog got bathroom sick right after returning home from being there. Second time now and my dog was completely sheered and choppy made to look like a rescue dog. I agree he had some matting but not to the extreme they took it too. No time was spent to comb out Matts or make him look like a poodle! His feet were atrocious and one foot bloody. His ears were radically cleaned and not dried which ended up with a bacterial infection and a vet bill of 100$. This business will not take any responsibility for the trauma my poor dog has endured.

I am used to having ROMEO get haircuts from grooming professionals. I only trust those who go and learn from hair shows. When doing my homework, I came across this shop. So glad I did, because Romeo haircut was absolutely AMAZING! She even did his Mohawk perfectly. So impressed and now I'm sad she won't be in Arizona to give him more haircuts. I'll just have to visit again and bring Romeo for another fly haircut. Thank you for taking good care of him.

Buffalo Dogs is excellent -- I highly recommend them!…read more Buffalo Dogs is primarily a kennel for overnight boarding and for daycare. But they also do grooming. My family was going on vacation and we needed a kennel to board our three 150 pound trained guard dogs that are all intact (not spayed or neutered) for one week. After MANY phone calls, everyone wimped out. No one wanted to get near our dogs at any price. This really pissed me off because our dogs are all professionally trained, totally socialized, and friendly (unless you jump over our fence in the middle of the night). And they're way nicer than many untrained mutts that I've met. Unfortunately, the kennel owned by our original dog trainers (in Hudson, WI) no longer boards intact dogs. It wasn't looking good for taking our vacation! Buffalo Dogs was the ONLY kennel we could find that would board our dogs. Anna, the owner, was not intimidated at all. She did a great job. She's a total pro. She walked around our big 160 "Scooby" like it was no big deal. FYI, Scooby loved her! It was pretty hot and Anna even added extra cooling to make sure our big guys (and girl) didn't overheat. FYI, Buffalo Dogs is on a farm, on a dirt road, with a big old hay barn and other buildings. Now, however,…read morethey have repeatedly reported they're under-staffed, and today upon picking up my dog from daycare, not only had she been allowed to chew up her harness, leash, and towel (which has never been an issue when staying for a full day of daycare previously), but also somehow she was able to chew through the plastic ziplock bag that contained her food (which was also still full of food, which again has never been an issue on previous days). Although I was told that dogs are not allowed near the bins where the bags of food are kept, I was told by a worker while picking up my dog that "it looks like she got to her food bag," which is made of zip-lock plastic, and now I'm concerned with how much she ingested. Overall, the Lucky Pets staff is aware they're understaffed, but continue to accept dogs into their care that they do not have the staff to properly/safely watch and take care of. Extremely disappointed after how great it was a few weeks ago.
