Each time I've dropped my dog off it's taken about 1.5 hours until I get the call to come pick her up, so I think they start on each dog right away but I'm not 100% sure. We always book one of the first appointments of the day, so that might factor into it, too. She always comes home smelling so fresh and clean and looking prim and proper. They also always put a cute little bandana on her. The staff seem so friendly and caring, and I trust them with my pup. They offer your typical grooming services (bath, hair, nails, anal glands, etc,) but also offer more unique services like hair dye and styling. Can't recommend this small business enough!

The night before the appointment the groomer called and cancelled, stating that I should call back and reschedule-probably take at least another month to get in. Fortunately I ran into one of our regular groomers, that had left, at the For Pets Sake within a couple of days of the cancellation. I followed him to his new shop and both dogs now go there. Wendy's didn't want my business anyway. We'd only been regular clients for seven years.

The emergency vet said it would be a 5-6 hour wait just to get Chewy back to see a vet. My girl tends to be a wiggler and I was worried that it may be hard to get her cut how I wanted, but it apparently wasn't an issue because my girl looks great! The facility is very clean and very organized; for being a fairly new business and I felt like this was a top notch grooming salon and we will be back! Thanks Kelly!! I also happened to met the 2 owners of the adjoining boarding business, Back Forty Kennel. They were both very personable and that facility looks well maintained and all the dogs that were there were getting some love. Lots of outdoor space for playtime. If I ever need to board my dog I would check them out first.

All of the trainers are volunteers, most have been teaching for many years. It is very obvious that training us humans and our furry companions is their passion. During each class we had a primary trainer and 1 or 2 supporting assistants. This was amazing as their 1 trainer/assistant per 3 or 4 dogs was helpful during the exercises because we always received 1 on 1 tips/advice. I noticed in the reviews comments about the arena being hot during the summer....yes, during mid-summer it gets warm as there is no AC....this isn't a big corporation out to make a profit, this place is all dog-loving volunteers. However, even during really warm August days, there were many fans and we were encouraged to take water breaks as often as needed. If you have medical concerns, then taking classes September through May could be a great option, as their classes are year round. Another reason I specifically chose this club is that they offer more than just obedience training, which will allow my dog to continue to grow and learn in a friendly and now well-known environment. Thank you to Alysha, Sarah and Aria for the great classes! Happy to have graduated from Obedience Level 1.
