We had gone to a great place out in St. Bonnie before (outdoor pool, yappy hour, Sinatra piped into the suites), but that cost about as much as a cheap hotel room and with the dollar at a low against the Euro, we didn't have the cash to splurge on our loved one like that. Enter Happy Days.. Now they don't have all the accouterments that the other place has, but she still had a private sweet and plenty of place to get her run on. And reasonable too. About 33 a day. And she seemed happy to see us, too. Quite the drive for us, but than again, St. Bonnie wasn't close either. Would recommend Happy Days to anyone with a larger dog that needs some space to roam.

It's always sad…read moreleaving your pet when you go out of town, but we've never felt bad leaving her at Happy Days because her tail is always wagging like crazy at drop off. The staff here are excellent- the monitor play, sleep, health, and food intake, and really care about the dogs they look after. Zoe is now an older dog at 15, and we have no worries when she is at doggy camp. Happy Days has a wonderful facility, with a large outdoor play area and one inside as well. Additionally, whether it's scheduling a pick up or drop off, or calling with a question, Happy Days has great communication and answers phone calls or emails promptly. Lastly, they have competitive rates, so even though your dog has a great experience, it's not breaking the bank to have them looked after. We will definitely be taking Zoe here again in the future.

So he hadn't had a haircut for awhile as I searched for a local one-on-one groomer. I sent a message out by FB and then we communicated by text which is easy and convenient. My pup was cleaned up and well groomed within an hour and half and we got a bonus- some beautiful photos! After grooming he looked like the 7 month old we found at the shelter, like years younger!

I asked about extra services and was told that since it was going to be such a busy weekend that he wouldn't need anything, and she talked me out of the extras. When I picked him up, I was shocked at how badly he smelled of urine. There is no doubt that they just left him to lay in his own urine the whole time I was gone. The smell was so bad that I had to drive home with the windows down and then took him straight into the shower when we arrived. I don't know if he got any attention or if he was actually let out at all. The urine smell suggests that he wasn't. They could have done so much better. I would not recommend that anyone leave their pets here.

We are loyal customers for over a decade, but after the last few visits are feeling we may need to start exploring other options for our small dogs. There have been scheduling snafus, mysteries where we've just fallen off a waitlist, and the hand drying we always had documented in the system and was much preferred for our dogs with anxiety, fell off their radar and does not appear to be an option any longer. The past year hasn't been great for us with Haute Dog... we miss you Lily Bees!

I really liked bringing our Doodle here, but the last couple of times have been disappointing. Last October, I brought her in for her haircut, and what we wanted was discussed with the groomer. When I picked her up, she was completely shaved all the way down to her pink skin. She didn't even look like the same dog! Fast forward to now, and I wanted to give it another chance. I requested a different groomer this go around. When I picked her up today, she looked great! The disappointment was when I went to pay and discovered that my cost DOUBLED from the last several times we've been in there. There was one spot where she was matted, but her entire body was not matted. I was told it was for "combing" but no one ever mentioned any price increase for this. This price reflects a dog that had serious matting and I know my dog didn't have serious matting. The staff is kind and friendly! I think my time with Lilly Bees is up, and I'll be looking elsewhere for groomers.

I am used to having ROMEO get haircuts from grooming professionals. I only trust those who go and learn from hair shows. When doing my homework, I came across this shop. So glad I did, because Romeo haircut was absolutely AMAZING! She even did his Mohawk perfectly. So impressed and now I'm sad she won't be in Arizona to give him more haircuts. Now, however,…read morethey have repeatedly reported they're under-staffed, and today upon picking up my dog from daycare, not only had she been allowed to chew up her harness, leash, and towel (which has never been an issue when staying for a full day of daycare previously), but also somehow she was able to chew through the plastic ziplock bag that contained her food (which was also still full of food, which again has never been an issue on previous days). Although I was told that dogs are not allowed near the bins where the bags of food are kept, I was told by a worker while picking up my dog that "it looks like she got to her food bag," which is made of zip-lock plastic, and now I'm concerned with how much she ingested. Overall, the Lucky Pets staff is aware they're understaffed, but continue to accept dogs into their care that they do not have the staff to properly/safely watch and take care of. Extremely disappointed after how great it was a few weeks ago.
