So we left our hunting dog (Duke) there for a short week while on vacation. Duke has never stayed at a kennel before or cared for by strangers. We got home a day early so I stopped by a day before we were expected to pick him up (right at closing time). Even before he saw me, he seemed happy and content being on the leash with one of the kennel owners. He was clean and smelt good, kennel owner said he ate all the food I left and ate every meal which tells me he wasn't stressed. Although we are rarely in need of a boarding kennel, I will use Dover Kennels again. Thanks for taking care of our boy.

He was able to refund the entire vet bill. Sometimes it's about the recovery. Thank you for helping me feel heard and not confused. This location offers supervised puppy day car for 4 hours one day a week. I was feeling ill so I needed a little nap. I called ahead of time asking what age puppies would be there as my puppy was only 3 months old. I was told 3 other puppies ages 4-5 months old. I felt ok with that so bright her in. When I picked her up I asked how she did and the staff worker told me she was being picked on. Knowing i was nervous about I (by calling ahead of time) maybe they should have called me. Anyway fast forward 2 days and we were at the vet getting her wound taken care of. She was hurt while in their care. She was put on 3 different medications and had her fur shaved. I realize it was my choice to bring her but I also expected them to take care of her. They have decided not to refund any of the vet visit. I am not asking for them to cover 100% of it but at least half. There is no way that my puppy did this to herself given the location on her back. We will not be back, to either location.

I was offered one of their Canine Wellness Packages, and while the flyer was helpful, I didn't receive much detail about the terms, conditions, or exclusions beyond what was printed. I like to fully understand what I'm signing up for, especially when it comes to annual plans. I purchased the $432 Wellness Package, which includes two comprehensive wellness exams, two intestinal parasite screenings, internal organ function screening, and 5% off additional services. The flyer shows there is also a $663 Enhanced Package, but I wasn't offered that option during my visit. For reference, I spent $3,557.73 last year on my middle‑aged chiweenie, and the wellness plan saved me $1,404.59 -- which is impressive for a healthy dog with no chronic conditions.
