Miguel Angel was professional and gave great feedback on how each pair of lenses looked on me and my daughter. Did not just try and sell us the most expensive. Miguel was also very patient and interesting to talk with. He made the entire experience great. read more

I couldn't be more happier and content from the moment I made my appointment until I received my glasses and contact lenses. Miguel Angel was absolutely patient with all of my questions, and calls to see if my glasses had arrived. One I received my glasses, the I absolutely loved them, that I ended up getting a second pair. Honestly, the entire experience was outstanding, thank you Pearle Vision Team!!! read more

Miguel was super helpful! Would highly recommend! They talked me through all my options and i left with a great pair of new glasses.

I've been coming here for over 20 years, when it was Eyestyles, and have always gotten the best service. Since it has changed to Pearle Vision a few years ago, nothing has changed. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. They actually care about my eyes and my pocketbook. Josh is my go-to guy when it comes to buying frames and lenses. He always helps me find something that looks great and not always the most expensive. Anytime I need them readjusted, or a screw falls out, he fixes them with no worries at all. . I highly recommend these guys. They are the best in town!! read more

Pearle Vision - Optometrists Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

Poor service. Brought in my own sunglasses for prescription lenses and made it very clear to replace the nose pieces. Also purchased a pair of glasses. When I picked out the frame I was told they were in stock and there would be no delay. I specifically stated that I did not want to get this frame if it was not in stock, because I did not want to wait for a special order. The technician assured me there would be no issues and the glasses would be done in a week to 11 days. 3 weeks later still no glasses and had to wait for my nose pieces to be replaced on me sunglasses because no one left any notes to take care of that. I guess, once they get you money they no longer give a sh@t about you. Looks like the new owners are worse than the past owners. read more

Miguel Angel was so very helpful. He fixed my daughters glasses and explained how they would fit longer with appropriate care. we will definitely request him the next time we go. read more

Yyvone & Miguel have superb customer service. They are knowledgeable & Helpful. Yyvone typically helps out my wife but, today we came in and Miguel was quick to help. Thank you, we appreciate good service. As for the store - It has a big selection of frames, Clean, & comfortable. While Miguel was busy helping us close to closing time, Yyvone was busy putting frames away, another customer came in and they both assisted each other in a way that helped us all out. read more

I had a great experience at Pearle vision. I got helped by Miguel angel and he helped me find frames that I loved that also fit my facial features. I appreciated his assistance and honesty. I really appreciated the optometrist I saw today as well. She was sweet and gave me the education behind everything being provided. Overall , great experience! read more

Love this business! Such friendly, helpful and positive people. They have an optometrist on site, but you can also bring in your prescription for glasses or contacts and enjoy friendly, knowledgeable service. The selection of frames is excellent and I was really happy with the attitude of each employee I interacted with. I did not feel rushed in making my frame selection even though they were busy. It felt like a relaxed and positive experience beginning to end. I chose a pair of classic Tiffany frames that I am very happy with. I also chose two pair of sunglasses that I just love. They all wear masks and keep the place very clean. Highly recommended. If you need glasses or contacts, give them a try! Hope you enjoy the same great experience I had there! read more

I've been coming here for over 7 years, this year I was helped by Miguel. He's an amazing, wonderful optician that goes out of his way to help patients. He was very helpful, explained my options. Very professional, I highly recommend getting your eyes check at Pearle Vision and ask for Miguel! read more

Miguel Angel was amazing! He went over and beyond to help me make my glasses right......he was an Angel Thank you again!

Miguel Angel is the best!! He's courteous, knowledgeable & efficient! I will definitely go back!

Been going here many years. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. Miguel Guardarrama was very polite and professional.

Miguel and Dr. Nguyen did a fantastic job for me. They are always so helpful with insurance and making sure I have the perfect glasses for me at the best price. That's why I'm a repeat customer. Thank you! read more

Great vision center. Highly recommend! Had an easy experience and helpful customer service from Jake. Will be going here next time I need my glasses fixed! :) read more

Worst optical store ever ! I had two eye exams with their optometrist (Dr. Glass) who only comes in once a week. He supposedly has years of experience but didn't seem to know why my prescribed lens didn't work (ie. Blurry, poor distance vision, no peripheral vision, etc.). He even asked one of the opticians for options. One particular optician (Miguel Angel) was rude and unprofessional when I asked to have my VSP insurance reinstated after two failed attempts at new lens. "We don't do that" he replied after I said that was VSP's procedure. He also said, "You're not getting any of your money back. Those glasses are yours" when I said I couldn't use the lens they prescribed me, and that they didn't provide the service I paid for. Just a bad experience all around. Never going there again. read more

Dr Nguyen and Optician Miguel Angel are great. Dr Nguyen always thoroughly explains what is going on with my eyes and my eyesight. Miguel Angel is very good at the pre exam as well as helping to find the perfect frames. I highly recommend visiting them at the Costa Mesa location. read more

I'm from out of town so I didn't see the doctor but I forgot my contacts at home. I was able to obtain my prescription from my optometrist back home and Pearl Vision got me set up with a trial pair for the week. excellent service and helped me see on my vacation! read more

Loved the whole experience. Everybody was super friendly and accommodating. The best place in town.

This place is not transparent about pricing! I went because I thought I had a contact stuck in my eye and my doctors office was closed. When I called they said it would be free unless it required additional treatment. When I got there, I popped in and the doctor spent 5 minutes with me. The doctor was very nice, but when I walked out they said it would be $100 for my visit. They don't take eye or medical insurance which was never disclosed and the fact that the visit was no longer considered "minor" was never disclosed. I would have made a very different decision about my visit had I known it was $100!! Very poor communication and felt super shady! Will not return and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Miguel is the reason I chose the Costa Mesa location of Pearle Vision. I've been going to Pearle Vision in Westminster since they were Eye Styles for Lifestyles. They were fine, until I stopped in the Costa Mesa store to look at frames, to kill some time. That's when I met Miguel. I've never had better service when choosing a frame. He knows exactly how they should fit your face and took my special issue into consideration and let me know which options would work and which wouldn't. He researched color options and sizes without asking. A year later and I was happy to see Miguel was available, and once again he was amazing. He has impeccable knowledge of each frame. Also, he stayed after closing to help me find the perfect pair! Thanks for all you help, Miguel! read more

The guy upfront with a sleeve tattoo was very rude. He refused to help me out to get a set of contacts until I can get into an appointment. This is the place that I last had an eye exam 1.5 years ago. My prescription is expired, but I have had optometrist help in the past, especially since I can't drive without being able to see. I will definitely not go back. read more

Ordered 2 pairs of glasses on 12/15/23. After 4 exams, 3 incorrect corrections for each, I finally received last pair on 4/1/23. The owner rudely stated that I had exceeded my re-dos, even though it was their error. That the prescription was the best I was going to get. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because Sam was great! P.S. Simple reading and computer glasses, that I've never had trouble with before. They kept making reading glasses for the computer. read more

I have been coming to this practice for 20 years. I usually go to the Huntington Beach location which is always amazing. Recently went to the Newport location for my annual eye exam. I saw Dr Diana Yan. She was very professional and thorough. I was very pleased with her demeanor. I highly recommend Dr Yan and the practice. read more

Really solid place. Super friendly very knowledgeable and great selection of opticals.

Unscrupulous business practices here. They keep calling to confirm an eye exam that I never scheduled. The last voicemail they were so emboldened as to say my insurance is pulled for that date. Untrue. I never scheduled any appointment with them. I hate it when businesses use these manipulative practices and will no longer be purchasing my glasses at this location. read more

I needed a routine vision eye check and had a pleasant experience with Jason, Jacob, and Dr. Tan. They were very helpful, the place was clean, and glasses assortments were well oriented. They were very helpful communicating my insurance options and helped me realize that I had frame coverage via my VSP insurance. I used my insurance to buy a custom pair of polarized sunglasses that I'll pick up next week. Overall, great experience, very friendly, and competent group. read more

Well I went in hoping that they would offer the great service and personal relationships that there predecessor had . Had my eye exam by Dr.Glass( love him!!!). Chose some frames and got some assist in styles by Yvan. After an hour , as she was enetering my info . She realized that my insurance did not cover new frames. OKAY. Ordered contacts and asked if my rx glasses could've tinted as sun glasses . She said she'd check with the lab and call me . This was n 7/14/20. Well... 1. Received a text 7/17 "your contacts are in" 2. Received a text 7/21" your glasses are in". 3. Went in: only one box for one eye of contacts and no glasses 4. Yvan said she forgot what I wanted to do with my glasses so we had that discussion again. (7/21). She said she'd send them to the lab to see if they could tint them and call me. NO CALL 5. Received a call that the glasses were in 7/31 6. My rx glasses were changed to non Rx sunglasses !!! And no box of contacts for my other eye . I spoke to the manager ,Fred, about all the miscommunication and that ALL I wanted was to know if they could tint my rx glasses so they could be used as sunglasses . BTW, I apparently owe $90 for sunglasses I do NOT NEED, so I had to put the regular Rx lenses back in. Not real happy about the call BEING dropped TWICE. 7/14 when I asked to have my glasses tinted 7/21 when I came in to get my contact (s) And re-requested tinted lenses ( Yvan said she "forgot" what I wanted to do ) AND 7/31 when I picked up my glasses and they were ALL WRONG. Fred said he'd follow up - we shall see. Might have to change eye glass providers Update: received a call today 8/3 that my glasses are ready ( they don't have them, I do because they were supposed to be checking about tint !!!) and my co facts for my right eye are in. The left hand DOES NOT KNOW what the right gNd is doing there read more

This location is the best! customer service is top notch! Selection is fantastic! I have been coming here for years!!!

There place is just great and so amazing there work is so awesome and they are all great at their job

After 15+ years of being a customer it's very disappointing for Dr. Glass to put money before patients. During the covid-19 lockdown I had asked for my written prescription that had just then expired to be sent to me so I could order some contacts. It took them 5 weeks to send me an unsigned version knowing full well I couldn't order using that. Their office said that they can order for me or if I want to place the order elsewhere I'd have to come in for an exam. So basically if they can make money on my order they're okay with updating my prescription date (which btw they did without signature) but if I want to order online for 1/2 the price then he doesn't want to give me my own prescription. I explained that I'm taking care of kids at home and also don't feel comfortable with being examined during the lockdown but I still need at least a 30 day supply of contacts so I can see! But no, I have to order through them or I don't get any contacts at all! I want to be clear, he doesn't have any problem with me getting the contacts without an exam, as long as I buy them through his office. I know small businesses are getting hurt through this, I own a small business myself, but I'm not holding my clients hostage for some ransom payment. Absolutely terrible business practice. He's going to lose at least 4 customers this way (my family) while he could have just done the right thing. read more

I had the best help fixing 5 pairs of glasses. Josh and the female he was working with were wonderful!! I will definitely be back.
