Compared to other companies called for quotes they were the only one that showed up as scheduled and offered the best price. We did an owner-build pool and Peak Pool Plaster came highly recommended. When we sent our plans out, Peak was the first one to reach out and give an estimate. Within their estimate they gave clear concise breakdowns of everything as well as instructions on how to maintain their plaster. Other companies reached out as well, but they were not as detailed as Peak. We dealt with Jennifer though their office. She was amazing. She was very patient with us and answered all our questions. Due to the fact this was our first pool build we had a lot! She took the time to email us several different umbrella color sleeves next to our Pebble Sheen that we picked for the finishing touches. Peak Pool Plastering was referred to me from a friend that had recently had them resurface his pool. I went over to look at the finished product and decided to give them a call. Not only were they the most competitive bid I received but they did an amazing job. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for but in this case I got way more. Peak Plaster was the subcontractor used to install pebble tech to our new pool. There workmanship was terrible, the install was too thin and caused pitting and cracks. They claimed it was etching from CYA acid (our acid levels were never over manufactures limits). They refused to warrantee our claim. We had to appeal to the Nevada State Construction Board and won. Peak Still refused to warrantee their work and stuck it to the Pool Contractor. This is not a reputable company and they will not warrantee their work. Let me tell you why! 1) Stephanie is literally the most awesome front office gal to work with. Very disappointed with this company and service. I hired this company to replaster my 23 year pool back in 2021. They were highly recommend by a friend. They completed the replastering the end of May 2021. Fast forward several months my pool company servicing my pool said there was a leak. I contacted them and they came out and took months to figure it out and said it was fixed. My contract came with a 5 year warranty. Fast forward again several months, I still have a leak. They will not return my calls and did not respond to the certified letters that were mailed. I filed a complaint with the Nevada Contractors Board. I hired American Leak Detection to find the leak which took them 5 hours to do. I hired them to fix it. I have demanded payment reimbursement which this company has not responded via certified mail. I also filed against the recovery bond with the Nevada Contractors Board. This has been my experience with this company. read more

When I called, I was told it was on 14 Feb, which I am out of town and would have never scheduled that. When I informed her, she said, "Well, were not coming out today so do you want to reschedule?" I said "no, I will go with someone else." Then she said "ok" and hung up the phone abruptly. I got your name from a referral and was ready to go solely with your company. Horrible experience and we are contacting the Contractor's Board and our attorney. Not only was it difficult to get a call back, the plastering didn't make it three years before it started cracking. The paperwork claims the weather and pool maintenance WILL BE the issue if this happens yet we use the same pool company as most of our friends and they don't have problems. Plus, they read the chemicals and they're in line with Peak's recommendations. Our hot tub looks horrible and we would've been better off not having the work done than going with Peak. DISASTER! RUN! This is more of a warning and then a review we used peak plaster when we went through Desert Springs pools unfortunately we had our plaster done on a Sunday. It was the wrong color we were unable to contact anybody from either company for 3 days. The plaster is very streaky wrong color and five years later we still have to look at it and We just want to warn people please consider other companies pay attention to who is at your house be patient and wait for your project manager to be available for the plaster process. Do not make any verbal commitments. He will somehow forget. Then when you question him he will threaten to put a lean on your home. Please be Cautious and learn from our mistake. STOP!!! FOR YOUR OWN GOOD, Don't even consider using Peak Pool. They told me my pool would cost $7000 to tear out & rebuild and for me that's A LOT of money. Once they got it torn out now suddenly my stairs are not properly made to begin with & I incurred an additional $900 because they have to be rebuilt. Well there's a giant hole in my yard & I truly have no other option but to pay them more money. When the pool was finished, I called them bi-weekly because the pool leaked. It was November & December so evaporation was NOT a factor yet they told me every time it was evaporation but marked on the filter casing the levels of lost water. By January the marks covered a full foot of water loss & I was tired of them doing NOTHING about it so I said to Otto enough already, clearly it's leaking I mean, you made these markings look, a foot of water is gone!!! To which Otto immediately stuck his hand into the filter and erased all the markings!!! I'm not kidding. They insisted the pool didn't leak so when the weather broke it became clear that the new spa they installed was losing 4 to 5 inches of water a day, not evaporation!!! The last time Otto came over I went into the house for a minute & when I came back out, the filtration system itsself was leaking in 2 different places while Otto stood there staring at his work not saying a word to me. Yep, he put breaks on 2 different system pipes causing an entirely new problem for me. He blatantly & intentionally broke 2 different pipes simultaneously on my filtration system. WOW Apparently the pool leaking alone, was not enough for Otto. I took them to small claims court, they said it was my fault because it leaked because they fixed it. WHAT? They took an attorney with them & were perfectly okay with leaving me with a non-functional leaking, pool & taking $8k from me. TAKE THEM ON AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!! THEY ARE TOTAL CROOKS AND ARE MAKING INNOCENT HARDWORKING PEOPLE, HOMELESS!!!! Peak Pools has a SPECIAL place in Hell waiting for them. read more

We had one of our Pool/Spa re-plastered with their Blue Quartz special and the water line tiles were all replaced. This was the third time that we used Peak Pool Plastering in two years because of their price and quality. Unfortunately, the Pool light died when we filled-up and we had pro twilight shots scheduled a few days later. We were quite depressed because we invested thousands to get this pool redone for marketing. These guys are completely unprofessional. They did the plaster for my pool and it was probably the worst experience ever. They did not properly cover areas of the pool that did not require plaster. We had real boulders on the edges and they were covered in plaster. They also did not cover or protect near our house and our house got plaster all over it. Called them back to repair 2 times and they argued every single time. So it's never their fault. Please do your research and do not use this company. "Blame the Customer" Here is our story with Peak: they plastered our pool in April 2018. The process is to drain, chip out, vacuum, power wash, and plaster. After chip out and power wash, one of their employees returned to cut some rebar in a corner of our pool, then we had a lot rain. So when they returned to plaster, they had to drain rain water, but did not power wash again, since it probably appeared clean after the rain. Then they plastered. It looked beautiful. Peak gave us a sheet of the required chemical levels for new plaster, brushing instructions, filter cleaning, etc...we bought an expensive metal free product as suggested. We hired a pool professional to care for the pool, as we had done it ourselves for years, but didn't want to take any chances with new plaster. We brushed it multiple times a day, skimmed it every morning and our pool man came every week. In August we discovered that there were little lines of rust the size of staples now in the plaster. They didn't brush off. I called our pool man, he said he has never seen anything like this and he has 62 pools he maintains. I sent an email to Peak. They sent a guy over to look at it. He used several different types of tools from his truck and nothing brushed off. He said it must be fertilizer or seed pods.Which is insane since with don't have a lawn. Nearest trees are on the other side of the wall. There are hundreds of these rust lines around around pool. So we send another email requesting that the pool be replastered. Our contention is that when the rebar was cut, multiple metal fragments were scattered around the pool, especially after the rain, and never cleaned out, these fragments are now rusting and embedded in the plaster. This is logical since the size and shape of all the lines are all consistently the same. We send another email, this time John Lebreche the owner comes to our house. He looks at the pool and says, "fertilizer or seed pods" and it's a maintenance issue and not his responsibility. Again, no trees with pods anywhere, and no lawns in our yard or on either sides of the walls around it. Nothing but rock. He takes no responsibility for his product. Just excuses. Then he says, as "an act of good will" he will drain it and sand it down in all these areas, which is basically everywhere. I say I don't want to risk the delamination of draining and sanding new plaster. We send a follow up letter, asking for a return of our $3995, so we can hire another company to plaster our pool properly. He says he will not return our money. So now we are left to file a complaint with the Nevada State Contractors Board to try to recover our damages. Our experience with Peak has been a complete nightmare. Think twice before hiring a company that will not stand behind the quality of their product. It would have been professional and equitable for Peak to return our money. If anything goes wrong with the quality of their work, the rule is to blame the customer. We did nothing wrong. We deserved the quality product that we paid for. If we don't replaster our pool, these growing rust stains will continue to progress. Very disappointed with Peak and with their complete lack of professionalism. read more

They talked me through each step of the process to make it easy to understand. They set us up with the after cate maintenance process to help make sure our pool will last a long time. We had three estimates for having our pool / spa replastered and decided to use peak as they had a November white quarts for same price as regular white plaster 'special' We have large dogs and needed a hard schedule, this would be our only complaint, don't take it as a total negative though they communicated with us daily, emails, phone calls, stopped by in person on some days where we had weather delays, but they would not commit to a schedule and we had a few frustrating delays getting started Once they started they chipped the old plaster down first day, cleaned and fixed grout on tile second day, final cleaned third day and replastered fourth day, not consecutive days, we had rain and strong winds a few days in the middle obviously not Peaks fault We used our spa tonight for first time since having the work done and it is so smooth it's wonderful and the white quarts plaster is very elegant (it was grey and we almost went back to grey) and really put the new look back into our yard and pool / spa If we stay in our house (we are thinking of moving after 22 years) I will update this as the plaster ages since that really seems to be where companies show the biggest flaw.. I had new plaster put in (Quartz), new tile all around, and 2 lights (pool and spa). I received a quote, was happy with it and put down the 20% deposit. I was given a work schedule, which was adhered to throughout the whole process (weather was a factor, but did not interrupt the project). The work that was done was excellent and I'm very happy on how it turned out. I would have given 5 stars if the office coordinator did not fat finger a missing $775 on my invoice. The day before plastering I received a call from them saying I needed to pay an additional $775 because the (signed) contract was wrong. That shouldn't have been my fault, especially since I had a signed contract initialed by the owner or a supervisor just under the prices. I see what happened based on the initial numbers during the quote process but I shouldn't have been put in that last minute situation - their employee should have been held accountable, and I shouldn't have been the one to correct it. In the end, it wouldn't be worth my time to fight it, I just wanted everything done (2 week project). I have a really nice pool now, so I'm happy about it. It was in really bad shape, but it's beautiful now. That's all I wanted, so thanks for that Peak. read more

This company is SO unprofessional..& we felt by appt, SO incapable of doing a pool resurfacing project.. Rudy came out ( very comical in a Cheech & Chong) type of character, BUT unbeknownst to him, we had already interviewed 5 prior companies. His explanation of the products was HORRIBLE.. we already knew the possibilities, plaster, quartz etc.. he even stated he MAKES the product ( versus buying from NPT).. so you are getting " generic"-type quartz etc.. he likes to talk about himself more than explain the procedure & products.. we were almost positive we had selected another company, & waited 3 weeks for an appt ( with a 6 HR WINDOW).....& he kept saying " hey, I've already been here a half hour. I gotta go.. I got 3 other spots in North Las Vegas"....we asked how far they were booked to do the project, & he said 2 weeks.. hmmm. Can't be THAT busy, especially with all the winds this year in Vegas... he said " we are the best!".. lol.....there are SO MANY better companies..especially good ones that have done casino's.... please don't call this company & waste your time!!!! read more

We chose Peak over the other 4 estimates we received because their pricing was relatively competitive and they didn't have any huge complaints on some of the web sites I checked or marks against them with the Nevada Contractor's board (and of couple of the others did). That being said, they REALLY need to work on their scheduling and communication. We explained that our side gates were in direct access to our dog run and requested they shut the street gate behind them. On the very first day, I came home after dropping children off at school, both gates were WIDE open. I am just thankful I was only gone for 15 minutes. I now have to make arrangements for my dog to be "babysat" at an alternate location because I don't trust them to mind the gates. Even this would've been okay if I didn't already make arrangements twice now and had both occasions turn out to be no-shows. We understood going into this that it would take a day to do the chip out, another day to do a clean out and a third for the plastering. We even understood that these might not be consecutive days, but this was a job we requested THREE WEEKS ago and they no showed again this morning for the plastering. They are now jeopardizing our re-fi, which is now on lock down and will not process until the pool is fixed. We really want to have a good experience with this company and maybe after it is completely done, I can amend this review to be based solely on the quality of the work itself rather than the customer service and progess. I am positive the person that said they were very satisfied with the professionalism was a staff member! I had another one of my pools that was done by another company and the job was superior compared to the job Peak Pool did. They did not take the entire surface down like the other company did they just kind of like pitted it and when they put the new surface on it was sooooo thin and not smooth. Also, they knew that the pumps had a hole in it and never bothered to fix it. They came out and said they did but the main reason was to fix the hole in pump they said that was an extra charge, so if not fixing the hole what did they fix $$$? They never showed up when they said they would PERIOD! They also should of put the right amount of chemicals in the pool for the plaster to be right but they just dropped the hose in and they were gone! So many other companies out there to choose from that won't rip you off like this company! read more
