I bought a Groupon to do a 60 minute float. I opened it for the code when I scheduled the appointment. They told me it was for new customers only. Even though that wording is no where in the listing. They would not take the voucher or accept it by any means. They said we can pay the Groupon price for today but we can't use the voucher. Frustrated as to no where does it state new customers only or you can only use this Groupon one time.

I already reviewed this AMAZING getaway maybe a couple years ago and NOTHING changed, if I could give SIX stars that would be the difference. What a difference an hour makes. I did learn something new 2day. You can upgrade a 60 minute session to 75 minutes for an additional 10 dollars. ABSOLUTELY my next session...until next time. The ladies on staff have the most positive, pleasant, peaceful energy...I can only think of Rebecca's name but they are BOTH Beautiful Energy! Thank You!

This was the orb that I was in.

Great first time experiencing this float therapy. The service was awesome, the people were welcoming. The atmosphere was calm and tranquil. I had the 75 mins session. I tried the orb. The only one thing that didn't make a 5 star review from was that their towel was stinky. I didn't realize the smell until I was in my car. I would recommend bringing your own towel, also flip flops to walk about the place and stand in the shower.

The best kept secret in all of Walnut Creek! A good friend of mine recommended me to Peak Performance years back and happy to report I have been a weekly visitor and have loved it ever since. Rebecca, Owner and Wellness Coach Extraordinaire, has built up her service offerings for clients and now includes: 1. Epsom Salt Floating (multiple tank, small room and large room float options) 2. Infared Sauna (usually 50 mins at 140 degrees) 3. Red Light Therapy Full Body. If you don't know what this is, Google or ask Rebecca about it- skin care game changer 4. NEW: Red Light Body Contouring. Ask Rebecca about this and Google some info. I am an avid fitness enthusiast and my body is routinely in some type of muscular pain. These floats have really helped me in recovery and relaxation. As well as, the mental and spiritual benefits of the sensory deprivation float style. DONT WORRY: you are never locked in a tank as some may falsely state. For the full benefit, it is best to keep the tank closed/door closed and lights off. But that's not a requirement. In fact, I float with the door slightly ajar, lights off/starry night feature lights on and music on (very ethereal, light white noise). I can instantly fall asleep and wake up to the voice recorded message at the end of my 60 minutes. If you're considering better self-care practices and want to give your body a well-deserved break, give this business a shot. You will need to go a few times to allow your body to acclimate and get more relaxed while floating in an epsom salt float. It took me a good 2-3 times before I really settled in. If you need additional support while floating, ask the staff for a pool noodle or another float assist accessory. I use the float noodle almost every session. So much to say but unlike a food review, this is an experience you must have to know its benefits. You don't have to be an athlete to try this- anyone who needs an hour of relaxing, uninterrupted meditation and recharge will also benefit. Enjoy.

I am so glad I found this place on Yelp! I have been wanting to find a nice place to sauna, because right now my only option is at 24 fitness... which if you know you know. This was the exact opposite! I had my own private sauna that was hidden behind curtains. My 45 minute session was perfect and I instantly felt more relaxed. The time flew by. I brought my headphones to listen to music which I would definitely recommend and don't forget your water. The sauna itself is not that large, so you can't really fully stretch out which is the only bummer. It is a bit hard to get comfy and it would be nice to have extra towels. Besides this I loved my experience. They don't offer a shower for their sauna sessions so you have to wipe off with your towel. The girl at the front desk was super kind and explained everything to me. I'm looking forward to coming back here and maybe trying the float next time!

I decided to try something new the week we returned from Burning Man. I figured my bf and i could use some silence after all the noise. I thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful environment and solitude. It was a little difficult for my bf, who opted out about halfway through. Fortunately for him, Steven at the front desk kept him entertained until my hour-long session was complete . Serene and clean and so unique! Definitely worth checking out if you've never tried an experience like this for yourself.

Is this good for my husbands psoriasis? The only thing that has really helped is ocean water in Hawaii lol!!! Hoping to find something we can try!!

I truly love the concept, even though for me the experience felt a bit overstimulating and physically stretching at times. Where I found myself disappointed was more with the level of customer care than the service itself, especially knowing this was my first visit. After my float, I enjoyed the oxygen bar and mentioned interest in learning more about another service option. During my oxygen session, the receptionist kindly offered to bring me tea, but it never arrived. By the end of the session, I noticed staff members chatting at the front while I was left feeling a little unsure about next steps. The staff were not rude at all, they were polite, but I did leave feeling like a bit more attentiveness and, guidance could have made a meaningful difference, especially for a first-time guest. The facilities themselves were generally clean and the overall concept has a lot of potential. With a little more intentional customer care and follow-through, I think this could become a much stronger experience.

You swap your shoes for fresh sandals and at the first appointment you come about 30 min early to watch a video on the tips that help you properly prep in the shower, coat a little petroleum jelly to protect dry skin or scratches from the salt in the float tub, and how to use the ear plugs. I've been to another float center in Redwood with a friend, so it was nice to find one close to home. I put a cloth in the lid to keep it open a crack and to help mark my orientation if I get up and want to readjust. I find that I prefer wave sounds and my husband likes music. I like to start with lights, then lights off for a minute, then I eventually mentally "drop down" into peace and darkness for like a half hour or so. Sometimes faster or slower. Really it's great for any body soreness and mental fatigue. I usually notice a 2-for-1 special and buy that and do a float "date" with my husband. So we usually get a sitter, catch a bite, connect and float. My hubby found out he had a lot of scratches on the last one... so they told him to reschedule no cost when he felt better. How considerate! I have been here 4 times now, but that felt so considerate that I trust them and really look forward to going back. I really like how close they are to a few spots I need things from as well. Since I'm out of town, we stop by the stores or eateries and cafes nearby to make it a treat.
