One of the first things advised was that management / ownership has changed recently. One of the pods wasn't ready and water was slightly cloudy from the start (which I thought was normal due to the solution), and the vibe felt rushed with one staff member handling everything. I showered with their soap before entering the float. After my float, I showered again, applied oil and fragrance, and left. An hour later, I received a text claiming I left oil/fragrance in the water and could be charged. Shocked, I returned to be greeted by the defensive owner. She insisted water had to be cleaned twice due to oil and fragrance. I told her I didn't use anything prior so that's not possible and that I had photos my water was not fully clear. My mom even said hers was clearer than mine as she saw what it looked liked. Ofcourse the owner dismissed seeing my photos and continues that the water should be clear which doesn't matter to me as the water should be cleaned after. If it's not working properly something must be wrong with the machine and I guess I got into dirty water to begin with. I asked for proof of what she was talking about and ofcourse she couldn't provide any. I already know the issue was my fragrance I used after and she could have simply stated that and probably should add that to her terms no scents and lotions after. She claims oils aren't allowed before and after floats and to use them when leaving the building at home , though terms only mention before. She acknowledged that and mentioned she would update the terms as their terms and charges have to do with not using their soap, dying hair before, using body oil and fragrances before entering the float. Nothing about after. We continue back and forth and the owner insists the message was just a friendly notification and I wouldn't be charged. I asked for her to text me that since her text message says differently . I had to repeatedly request for a clear text that I wouldn't be charged. She reluctantly sends the text (text attached with initial and last text). I had a decent float and wasn't really interested in returning based on the vibes but with the Poor communication and service coupled with the owner's hostile attitude it made the entire experience negative in the end. I don't recommend this location whatsoever. Too bad I missed out of the previous ownership and the experience my friends and family had in the past.

The massage chair was very interesting I still prefer the human touch but humans definitely can't apply as much consistent pressure as the chair. The zero gravity was extra fun! The red light therapy was enjoyable I came in with sore core muscles and actually feel a lot of relief. I did a 60-minute float and I actually fell asleep for the first time ever. You swap your shoes for fresh sandals and at the first appointment you come about 30 min early to watch a video on the tips that help you properly prep in the shower, coat a little petroleum jelly to protect dry skin or scratches from the salt in the float tub, and how to use the ear plugs. I've been to another float center in Redwood with a friend, so it was nice to find one close to home. I put a cloth in the lid to keep it open a crack and to help mark my orientation if I get up and want to readjust. I find that I prefer wave sounds and my husband likes music. I like to start with lights, then lights off for a minute, then I eventually mentally "drop down" into peace and darkness for like a half hour or so. Sometimes faster or slower. Really it's great for any body soreness and mental fatigue. I usually notice a 2-for-1 special and buy that and do a float "date" with my husband. So we usually get a sitter, catch a bite, connect and float. My hubby found out he had a lot of scratches on the last one... so they told him to reschedule no cost when he felt better. How considerate! I have been here 4 times now, but that felt so considerate that I trust them and really look forward to going back. I really like how close they are to a few spots I need things from as well. Since I'm out of town, we stop by the stores or eateries and cafes nearby to make it a treat.

When I heard that I asked my son about it and found out that he's been dying to try. So we decided to do it together. We each signed up for a membership because you can cancel anytime (but now I don't want to) and it gives you a discounted price for floating. We found a time where they had two pods open and arrived about 15 minutes early. You do have to leave your shoes at the door, so make sure your feet look good. I was a bit embarrassed by my old pedicure but whatever. You can walk in sandals that they provide or barefoot. They also have a little seating area and will bring you some water while you wait if you like Before the float, they gave us a full orientation to how the pods work. First put in your earplugs and then shower with lovely smelling products that they provide. Once you're cleaned off, you can hop in the pod. Each pod is big enough for people to fit comfortably and you can turn a blue light on or off. I floated in darkness, but my son chose to leave the light on. They even have little spray bottles of freshwater inside the pod, just in case any of the salt water hits the eyes. It is a little strange the first time trying to find the right position and such. But after about 10 minutes, I slipped away and before I knew it the hour had passed. I couldn't believe it. I even checked my watch to validate an hour had really past because time just seemed to disappear. We felt so relaxed afterwards and enjoyed a nice dinner out. However, I have scheduled my next one in two weeks for a later time so that I can just go home and go to sleep afterwards. Overall, it was an excellent experience and this place is run very well. CBD Float Session w/ CBD Gummies and I highly recommend! It was our first time and I was a little nervous but we had a quick instructional video we watched and staff walked us through everything and answered all questions. Now for the actual experience, you do shower first and you can bring a bathing suit if you'd like as well but each room for your session is private so it is optional. You shower before you go in and make sure you use the earplugs since you are going to be floating so to avoid it getting in your ears. There's an option to adjust the lighting and sound and to even turn it all off if you prefer a more sensory deprivation experience. You can change your selection throughout which was really nice so you can try all the different modes. One thing to keep in mind is that it is like a bunch of salt (think your at-home epsom salt TIMES A THOUSAND) so it can be a bit of a different texture at first but you can always slightly open the door and they have a spray bottle for just water or if you just need some air at any point during your session. For me, I think a good session would be about 60 min. The full 90 min. was definitely nice but I think about an hour in my mind was beginning to race a little so I think an hour is perfect! Facilities were very clean and the complimentary tea was so lovely and the staff were so kind and helpful!
