It just felt like she was rubbing me all over. Hot stones took awhile and was more annoying than enjoyable. Again stones were all over the body with no intention. Got a weird face and scalp/hair massage that i didn't enjoy. For arms, hands and feet: it was like she deliberately touched the parts that didn't matter and left the actual muscles alone. I booked a couples massage for me and my boyfriend on his birthday. The lady at the front desk was nice. The customer service could have been better. For example, we were checking in for our appointment and discussing the services we purchased and then a customer called. She had us wait and began working with the caller. In my opinion, since we were there first the caller should have been put on hold, instead of making us wait. The facility was clean, beautiful, and created a great ambiance. The massage was top notch! I loved the hot stones!! Very relaxing. My boyfriend and I were extremely statisfied. THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As we were leaving, I took out ALL THE CASH I HAD IN MY WALLET. I handed the young lady a $10 and what the lady at the front desk said to me left me shocked! She literally told me, "try to tip more". I told her, sorry but that is all I had in my wallet. I was so turned off by the lack of class and consideration. How can an establishment tell you how much to tip? Mind you, I spent a few hundred dollars on the services already. This lady had no idea what my financial situation might have been or if that was all the money I had to my name. It's cheap. The guy was very nice. I asked for a 60 minute foot massage. Foot and body? No. Just the foot. My feet and legs were cramping and sore and I was very much looking forward to this. $40 was a great price too (if you come M-Th, it's only $35 cash price). The service I received was decent. However, not what I asked for nor did I get what I asked for. There are 4 foot massage chairs in the room. I sat in one and a hot bucket of water was brought to soak my feet. While my feet soaked, and for 20 minutes, I was given a head/face/scalp/neck/arm massage. The water for my feet was cold by the time 20 minutes elapsed. I checked my phone for the duration as he took away the water bucket. Then came the foot massage. It lasted for 20 minutes. I know because I checked my phone again as he went to get the hot towels. WTF I was so annoyed. Then I was asked to turn over. The chairs convert to a mini massage chair. Kinda neat. About 15 minutes back/neck massage. Overall it was decent all over body experience for $40. However I just wanted my feet and legs focused on for 60 minutes and I definitely did not get that. At this point, though, I was ready to give them 4 stars as I felt the service was worth the price if you knew what you were getting. However, I asked for a receipt as I was leaving and he said no. After a busy and stressful week, I wanted a relaxing foot massage. I called first and they said I could come right in. I was greeted pleasantly and brought to a dim, calming room that smelled delightful. The sound of the waterfall art made it even more peaceful. They started with a temple and forehead massage which was perfect to get me relaxed, then even gave an arm and hand massage while my feet soaked in warm water. I scheduled 2-90 minute massages for my partner and I for Valentines day. We were running late and called to ensure it was ok. A man answered and encouraged us to take our time. Upon arrival, the two front desk people were confused and unaware of our appointment. Apparently they had accepted two females right before we arrived for massages. The two front desk people started talking in a different language and never even acknowledged us standing in the lobby. I had a great massage today by Jack. Combination foot (30 min) and body massage. (30 min). I have tendinitis in my Achilles tendons. He broke down the fluid build up and eased the pain tremendously. I know this process was going to be painful but the end result was well worth it. I chose to have my back massaged for that thirty minute portion. Excellent as well. My family insisted I get a massage to relax on Mother's Day (today) and I thought I would try Yellowstone instead of my regular spot since it is so close to home. The pictures looked nice and $60 for an hour was a great deal. When I got there a woman brought me back to the room. The bed has an old, colorful beach towel instead of a blanket and the face cushion was covered with a sheet of paper towel. Super strange, but I felt uncomfortable leaving and wanted to give the benefit of the doubt...I really needed to relax. The man that did my massage didn't say much. The massage itself wasn't anything of note, except for him repeatedly leaving the room without explanation. When he came in and out, he didn't close the door, so I was just laying on the table in a sheet and exposed to anyone walking by. It took me a moment to realize after the first time he left. The worst was when he came in and tried to continue to do the massage with the door open. He also got hot stones at one point and started to use them, I did not request hot stones and don't like them. When I was leaving (before any hour finished) the man pointed at my body and made a curve motion on himself, then mimicked a jiggling body and pointed at me again and laughed. It was humiliating and I don't think he spoke any English. At the front I wanted to speak with the woman that was there at the beginning, but she was nowhere to be found. The man stood there and said nothing until I produced cash. He then pointed at my hair and the scarf I had brought to cover my hair and started laughing while pointing. I've never been more confused and humiliated. There was no one to take an issue up with and I just wanted to get out of there and away from that guy. The other reviewers seem to love it, but I guess my mom body and braids were worthy of pointing and laughing, not to mention the open door during the massage. My hubby will be going back with me tomorrow to try and get some answers. read more

When I called for an appointment and stated the time I wanted, and stated that it was for 2 people, I got "un-huh, ok". Did not ask for my name. My husband arrived ahead of me and unbeknownst to me they took him on in without any question and when I came a minute or two later they did not understand my question about my asking if he was already here. No one spoke English. Finally the person at the front desk opened her translation app and I spoke into that so she could then see what I was asking. After some conversation with another person, they took me back to look to see if it was indeed my husband on the table. It was and so I was finally, after about 15 minutes, able to go into a room for my massage. No one asked about physical concerns, no "consent" form was signed, they didn't even know my name. The person at the front desk did the massage, so again communication was an issue. She left the room several times during the massage. The room was cold, the "blanket" on the table to cover me was slight and she never bothered to adjust it to cover me. The massage was not of the caliber I have received in the past. And we were overcharged $15 each from the displayed price outside the business. It was our second time there, the first time was only ok, but I like to give small businesses an opportunity so we went again thinking the experience would be better. It was worse. I visited Yellowstone Spa for the first time, today, and have left feeling more refreshed than have felt in almost a decade. The 60-minute "$25 Foot Massage" was actually more of a fully-clothed full-body massage. My masseuse intuitively found every single spot on me that has been holding high tension, and was able to get them to relax by more than half (which even a sports medicine doctor was unable to do). The foot massage room is more of a darkened, multiple table room, with three client split-tables, and softly playing spa music. Each table has 1/3 bottom piece that pivots so that it's easier to stand-up/sit down on. The center of the table feels like plush memory foam, and there is a bolster down each side so that you cannot accidentally roll-off the table (it came in handy for elevating my arms when lying down). We began by me discarded my shoes and socks, sweater, and wearing only my workout top and capris. She then had me lie down onto the massage table, while my legs were bent at a 90° angle so that my feet could soak in a hot tub of water (while I was lying down). My masseuse then massaged my face, ears, sinuses, scalp, and neck and occipital ridge; having my sinuses drain was such a massive relief, after this dreadful allergy-laden spring. She placed a warmed towel over my core and a microfiber hand towel over my eyes and forehead. She then massaged each shoulder, down my arms, and my hands down to my fingertips. She then massaged my feet and up to my calves. And just when I thought the massage might be over, she had me turn over, deep tissue massage my neck, shoulders, spine, posterior pelvis, and thighs. Those 60-minutes felt more like 90; I was in such bliss! I will absolutely will be coming back soon for more massages at Yellowstone Spa.
