Not only is the lady at the front super sweet and accommodating, but the foot massages are so amazing! We are a family of four and the foot massage room is absolutely perfect for us - mommy and daddy take up two beds, and the kids take the other two beds. The kids get the 30 minute foot massage and then relax for the next 30 while the parents get an hour massage - loves it! It cost $60 each for the adults and $30 each for the kids (under 7yo). I have been coming to Palace Spa for years but mainly for a Swedish massage. I recently had tried their reflexology massage which was amazing. They have a separate open room with about 6 chairs in it, lights are very dim and the room is quiet. I did the 60 min foot reflexology and it was amazing. They start with massaging your head, shoulders and upper body while your feet soak in water. After about 15 mins they get to your feet. If you are active like me and have sore feet this is a must try. For the last 15 minutes they flip you over and massage your whole body. I always seem to pass out. Next I have to leave a review on the scalp treatment they now provide. I have seen this all over the internet and have been wanting to try it. This location is the only place I know of that has it in or near Concord. The price is very affordable and you can add on a foot massage. Well I booked an appointment and let me tell you, I have never walked out of a massage place smiling and feeling so refreshed. I highly recommend the scalp treatment, we don't realize how much stress we carry in our head and for someone who uses their brain a lot for work lol this just released all stress and tension I had. read more

You can request an appointment online with your choice of person. I noticed one person had no reviews yet so I was curious why and decided to get my massage with them. Located in a nice shopping plaza that's not too busy . Customer service was amazing from the time I walked in until I left. Everything was nice and clean. The energy was super calming and I enjoyed my experience here. $80 later with a $30 tip was the best money spent this month. I will forsure be back and request Lisa again! I've been getting massages from Palace Spa over a year. Nicole the receptionist is very friendly. Their prices are good compared to other places. The establishment is clean with relaxing music in the background. They have an open room with several massage beds and several private rooms available for single or couple usage. I always opt for the foot massage because it comes with a mini body massage. It is very nice combo for an overall experience. In addition, I add the hot stone massage because it really helps soothe my sore muscles. The ladies that work there are always nice and check on you to make sure the pressure is good or if you need more. Their English is oaky... so be patient with them or ask to repeat. I came in for a couples massage and my partner and I thought it was a clean nice place to try out. The massage for the most part was good although both of the massage therapist kept coming in and out at least for a total of 10 minutes just leaving us mid massage. Tried this spot from a friend's recommendation. Bella here is freaking amazing. I'm a huge fan. I like strong deep tissue massages because I do a lot of physically brutal sports like grappling, surfing and lifting. If you're looking for the strongest grip strength, can't go wrong with Bella or Tina. Other than that, clean set up, friendly staff. The Yelp booking integration is really convenient to set up appointments on the fly or further out. The bathroom is immaculate which shows good business stewardship. The only down side is the Chinese-styled filler music they play can get really stale. I wish they'd just put on some lofi or deep house honestly. MAKING UP LIES on the spot. Lady at the front desk fumbled trying to explain why they wouldn't honor my gift card. My friend gifted me two foot massages. I have used one of them once and the experience was good. I just tried redeeming my second gift card and the lady says it is has a 3month expiration date. NOT TRUE. I have used my first gift card well after 3months and it is against California law to have an expiration. She said she is new working there and tries to make a phone call but no one picked up. I explained to her that I have used one of the gift cards before just fine. She then says the business is now under new management starting a year ago and they cannot honor the gift card. I asked if she could call her boss and she said she was the boss. I said my friend paid money for this, shouldn't it be good for anything? She said she will need to call the "previous owner" and took down my name and number. I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. If she was the new owner, why does she get to pick and choose what she inherits? I've gone to Palace Spa at least five times and had a good experience each time. Yesterday I booked a massage for myself and three of my friends. Unfortunately none of us received a good massage. Worse is that one of us is now experiencing neck pain as a result of the massage. It's my opinion that the therapists at Palace Spa are not licensed and some have had very little training. My massage therapist put pressure on my kidneys as well as my spine, which is a huge no-no and is taught in "Massage Therapy 101". This was my go-to spa but after this experience I will be looking for a new jam. read more

I love the fact that she uses her fingers for pressure, rather than the heel of her hand. This spreads out the pressure, rather than concentrate it to a small area. Her hands are as strong as they need to be. Every week my massages get better, as she is very attune to my preferences. She is relatively new, so it is not that hard to book appointments with her. Just OK. Went here when I couldn't get into my regular spot. Masseuse didn't speak English and don't seem like she knew what she was doing. Also it was very loud in the room because the back door of the whole place was open and guys were talking and walking in and out of the back. The top of the walls were open. She left several times during the massage and had to get the manager to translate what kind of pressure I wanted. Also it was cold that day and the whole place was chilly. It was my first time here & I was a walk in. I got the Swedish massage for 30 minutes from this wonderful lady named Lisa. Method of payment was before the massage and I paid with card. I would recommend bringing cash due to the 2% extra charge for card. I didn't mind the extra charge though because I didn't have cash on me. Because it was my first time & I wasn't sure if i was gonna have a good experience, i only tipped $5 BUT I would have tipped more if I paid after I got my massage because my experience was great, she took care of my problem area which was my shoulders & targeted my knots & stiffness of my muscles. I unfortunately did not have cash to tip more but hopefully this review also makes up for it because I had a great time with Nisa. The experience at Palace Spa is delightful from start to finish. When you first walk in, you'll be greeted by Sophia, who is absolutely lovely with her bright smile and warm demeanor. She is excellent at her job and I honestly look forward to seeing her each time I visit (just as much as the skilled massage itself). It was outstanding! Palace Spa sits at the back of the Park n Shop Plaza right on Market Street in Concord. The inside was quiet and clean, and they have killer deals if you call them and ask about pricing when youre scheduling your appointment. Ample parking too. This hidden gem is consistently so amazing. The staff is wonderful. The place is incredibly clean! The masseuse at this place are just as good as the ones from high end day spas! Highly recommend this place if you are needing some self-care. Last time I went, it was $75 for a 60min Swedish. I usually pay $120ish at day spas or chiropractors offices. After a long night of drinking on New Year's Eve to drink away our misery since another year tallied is simply another reminder of our impending mortality, the wife decided that we should get a massage to lift our spirits. She had purchased a Groupon for Palace Spa awhile back and so she made the reservation and we were all set to go. I must say that I did not plan on getting literally manhandled to start off the New Year! You see, all the masseuses when we went were men... the wife definitely made sure that there would be no happy ending for me. Jokes aside, I thought we were just getting a foot massage. But it turned out that we got a 1-hour combination massage that was pretty much a full body massage. The massage started with my feet being dunked in hot water followed by a head massage, foot massage, front massage, back and shoulder massage, arm massage, and a cup of tea. My masseuse (let's just call him Yellow Hulk since I forgot to ask his name) was twice the size of my wife's masseuse and I swear I nearly tapped out a couple of times as he contorted my limbs into all kinds of pretzel formations. I may have a shed a tear... Actually, as I type this a day later, my shoulder muscles feel a bit sore! Still, the massage was refreshing and with only four massage beds, the experience was very private. Additionally, Yellow Hulk did not have bad breath and did not reek of cigarettes. The only bad experience was that I had a freaking towel mark across my forehead as I left because... Yellow Hulk... At the end of the day, a lot of the knots in my body were released and the wife also said she felt refreshed. I can see why Palace Spa is rated so highly. read more

Wow! I was so delighted with the service I received. This place is super hidden but it also happens to be near one of my favorite sushi restaurants. I saw an amazing deal on Groupon and thought I'd give this place a try after reading the many wonderful reviews. I waited about ten minutes before my masseuse came into the room. The music was relaxing and the place felt like I could breathe deeply without much stress. I asked for deep tissue massage. Jenny did just that. She really was talented and would check if I was doing well especially on very difficult muscles around my low back. I felt cared for and I could feel her finding the tight muscles. She seemed to know the muscles very well and worked on the places that needed it more. I can't tell you how wonderful my mind and body feels after visiting here. I just got out of my "massage" from Palace Spa. I visited on a Sunday, around 4:15. I was told it was going to be a 15 minute wait. So I just chilled in the waiting room until it was my time. After around 17 minutes I was escorted into the room. As I was changing and preparing myself for the massage, the first thing I noticed was that the walls didn't connect to the ceiling! It was awkward hearing whispers all around me. So I proceeded to just wait ANOTHER 20 minutes for the massage therapist. After she finally arrived, she massages me over the blanket. It was alright. Then she proceeded to use the oil on my back. I have no idea what she was thinking but I was in a WORLD of pain! I was clenching my first, my eyes were tweaking etc. I have no idea what she was doing. I told her to use light pressure.... Barely any difference. I noticed she didn't use enough massage oil and holy s***. It's like she was trying to light a fire with my skin. She also did this horrible thing around the scapular area of my back where she kept popping the ligaments around. I was just trying to be a trooper but HOLY F***! Calm down with that. To make everything worse about 70% of the massage was centered in the back. After she put the SCALDING HOT TOWEL in my back I was thankful it was over. After that it was just a mediocre head massage. Now after all of this and I got dressed. As I was walking on my way out, the receptionist comes RUNNING from behind me telling me to fill out a survey for the massage. I am just exhausted from work and the beat down I got from a little Asian lady, I just wanted to go home. I said, "whatever" and just wrote, "good". I have no idea what I was thinking. The receptionist afterwards said, "if massage was good, you leave tip??" I replied by saying, "k". And I left a $5 tip. As I got home my girlfriend noticed what's wrong with my back?? She took a couple of pictures and HOLY S***! WTF HAPPENED WITH MY BACK??? I was covered with bruises and red marks! Now my "relaxing" massage left me battered and bruised. Also mind you, I DO NOT BRUISE EASILY. Now, if you guys want to experience the same as me, please go visit this establishment, but please communicate with the masseuse because she probably cannot see the obvious pain I was in.
