Looking for a no frills but relaxing massage a then look no further. I have been a customer at this place for several years. The price is amazing (pro tip - bring cash for the best price and don't forget a nice tip for your masseuse). I always get the one hour full body massage and I am always very satisfied with the quality of the massage, regardless of which masseuse I get. The rooms are dimly lit with relaxing music playing. The massage starts with them massaging your muscles with think sheet over the body. Then, they use a no scent oil/lotion for the rest of the treatment. About 3/4 of the way through they get a hot and damp towel and wipe you down. I love that you pay for an hour of massage and actually get a full hour of massage. As long as you know what you're getting, you will have a great experience here. Typical reflexology, whole body and foot massage. I have gotten a full body massage, Crumbl massage, and one hour foot reflexology. All of the prices have gone up since Covid, this is still a very reasonable way to get a massage. My biggest complaint is that sometimes the practitioners smell like cigarettes and their breath and hands. - Bed tables are hard and creaky with minimal padding. Very uncomfortable to lay on for 90 minutes -The male masseuse didn't seem to know what he was doing like proper massage techniques. The hot stone massage involved laying a towel on my back with hot stones on the towel. He also didn't speak English so he didn't understand when I would ask for more or less pressure or anything else. $80 for 90 minutes is a good price but I couldn't enjoy or relax, so lesson is you get what you paid for... Everytime I go I ask for a chair massage and the first time they said "go in the back and took me to a room" I said umm no I wanted a chair and so they said "yes yes you do this first and then chair" and I never got moved. Now it's still a struggle and back and forth battle to not go in the back, it'd WEIRD! I had a masseuse who smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. That was not good for someone like me with asthma. And the guy kept getting up to get more things (towel here, drop the water off there) to the point where i felt gipped because I arrived at 6:08 and left at 7:02. Not 60 minutes especially with all the leaving. I would think it would be more fair if they use a timer and stop or pause the timer when they get up. Its not fair to the consumer. Also I tipped $8 after which is way over 15 percent (I wasn't very happy so I didn't tip more) and the guy gave me attitude. On January 7, 2024; I went in for a full body massage. And Shirley put a hot(burning) stone on my shoulder and burn me. I went in to get check up at Kaiser. I got 3 blister on my shoulder the next day and the doctor said it was 2nd degree burn. I was in pain for about two weeks and applying anti bacterial ointment for two weeks. I visit Far East at least once a week for a 90 minute combo w/ David- he's great! If you want an area targeted, you need to explain to the masseuse like any other massage place. If you need translations, you can ask the front desk staffer to do so. I'm a distance runner and workout about 4/5 days a week. I spent some time explaining my ailments to David (via translation with the front desk staffer) and since then, he has found all the right spots to work on now that he knows my workout regiment. My friend and I got massages here awhile ago but, I can't seem to let this up. Our massage was okay and I had tipped like $10 for my friend and I (because we're college kids and we're broke). We come out of our massage and the girl at the front rudely asks us if our massage was bad or if they did a bad job in front of the ladies that massaged us. I obviously said no but she said that I was required to tip more because it wasn't okay. So I tipped another $10 and left because it was put in a position where I felt bad and uncomfortable.
